Abstrak: Berawal dari permasalahan dilingkungan sekolah terkait acara yang dilaksanakan oleh pihak sekolah mengenai peristiwa sumpah pemuda yang sebatas hanya merayakan saja tanpa memaknai nilai-nilai sumpah pemuda dalam kegiatan tersebut. Sehingga dalam penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk dapat mengetahui tingkat pemahaman peserta didik SMAN 18 Jakarta dalam memahami isi kandungan peristiwa sumpah pemuda sebagai peran dalam membentuk karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Mixed Methods dengan jenis model Sequential Explanatory. Kemudian teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner kepada peserta didik SMAN 18 Jakarta sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa pemahaman mengenai peran nilai-nilai sumpah pemuda dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik SMAN 18 Jakarta memahami terkait makna isi dalam peristiwa sumpah pemuda dengan presentase data 67,7% menyatakan paham akan nilai yang terkandung dalam sumpah pemuda. Sebagai generasi milenial seharusnya dapat mengimplementasikan pemahaman nilai-nilai sumpah pemuda sehingga mampu meningkatkan rasa nasionalisme pada generasi milenial.Kata Kunci: Milenial, Sumpah Pemuda, Nasionalisme.Abstract: Starting from a problem in the school environment related to the event held by the school regarding the youth oath event which was limited to celebrating it without interpreting the values of the youth oath in the activity. So that in this study, it has the aim of being able to determine the level of understanding of Senior High School Number 18 Jakarta students in understanding the contents of the youth oath incident as a role in shaping character. This study uses the Mixed Methods method with the Sequential Explanatory model type. Then the data collection technique was by distributing questionnaires to students of SMAN 18 Jakarta as the research sample. The results show that the understanding of the role of youth oath values in shaping the character of students of Senior High School Number 18 Jakarta understands the meaning of the content in the youth oath incident with a data percentage of 67.7% expressing understanding of the values contained in the youth oath. As a millennial generation, it should be able to implement an understanding of the values of the youth oath so as to increase the sense of nationalism in the millennial generation.Keywords: Millennial, Youth Pledge, Nationalism.

Physical fitness is influenced by the food they consume. Nutritious food can increase the athlete's stamina so that athlete's achievement will be easily achieved. Fulfilling the need for nutritional intake requires a good level of understanding of the importance of the nutritional intake needs of athletes, especially soccer athletes at SMA Negeri Sport Riau Province. The purpose of the study is to measure the level of understanding of the nutritional intake needs of adolescent soccer athletes at SMA Negeri Sport Riau Province. This type of research is evaluation. The method used in this study is a survey method with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data collection technique is carried out using a questionnaire or questionnaire method by testing the level of validity and reliability. The population in the study amounted to 35 male soccer athletes at the Riau Province Sports State Senior High School. The sampling technique uses total sampling. Data analysis uses quantitative descriptive as outlined in the form of a percentage. The results shows that the level of understanding of the nutritional intake needs of soccer athletes at the Riau Province Sports High School can be seen that 65.7% gives a good assessment. This indicates that the level of understanding of the nutritional needs of athletes is in the good category so this needs to be maintained. Likewise, the athletes' understanding of the athlete's daily nutritional adequacy and the regulation of the athlete's nutritional intake during the training period is in the good category. So it can be concluded that the level of understanding of the nutritional intake needs of soccer athletes is in the good category.

This study examines the perception of English teachers towards HOTS-based Learning in EFL classroom. This study was a survey study with interview as the data collection technique. The participants of the study were five English teachers in senior high school in Singaraja, Buleleng, Bali. The result of data analysis found that teachers’ awareness of implementing HOTS-based instruction starting from lesson plan, teaching strategies that promote higher thinking and assessment. However, teachers also faced difficulties in developing HOTS-based Instructions such as limited knowledge and lack of training. It is suggested that English teachers broaden their knowledge on developing HOTS-based instruction and conduct a discussion with peers and experts. The role of principle is also essential in giving instructions and training towards HOTS-based learning instructions.

The purpose of this study is to empirically prove the differences in understanding. The formulation of the problem is to empirically prove whether there are differences in the understanding of students from high school with a science major and high school majoring in social studies on the basic concepts of accounting. The basic concept of accounting in this study uses the variables of assets, liabilities, and capital. This research was conducted at a private university in West Java. The data is primary data, and the data collection technique is using a questionnaire. The population and sample in this study were 52 students majoring in accounting for the 2019-2020 class based on certain criteria. The data analysis technique of this research is descriptive statistical analysis, using validity, reliability and Kruskal Wallis difference test with IBM SPSS Statistics version 23 to measure the level of understanding of students from high school majoring in science and high school majoring in social studies on the basic concepts of accounting. The results of this study stated that only the variable Capital (Equity) had a significant difference in understanding between students from high school majoring in science and high school majoring in social studies. Where the other two variables, namely Assets and Liabilities, show that there is no significant difference in understanding between students from Senior High School from the Science Department and Senior High School from the Social Sciences Department.

This research aims to get information about how big the effect adversity quotient toward Student’s Learning Motivation in Economics at the Sttate Senior High School of 2 Siak Hulu. The background of the research were some student cheated in doing their tasks, they did not submit their assignment on time, they did not bring their economics textbooks, and they did not study seriously. This was a quantitative research. The subject of this research was the eleventh grade students whose major were sosial science. The object of this research was the effect adversity quotient to word students’s learning motivation. The number of sample of this research were 127 students. The research used random sampling technique. The data collection technique used was questionares and documentations. This technique of analysis used to examine the hypothesis was simple linier regression. Based on the result of the research and data analysis, it was found that ro (observasi) 0,688 bigger than rt (tabel) with the level of sifnificance 5% (0,1743) and 1% (0,2278) at (0,1743<0,688>0,2278) or that there is a significant effect of adversity quotient toword students’ learning motivation in economics at the State Senior High School of 2 Siak Hulu. The percentage of adversity quotient effect toward students’ learning motivation was 47,3% while the rest 52,7% was influenced by other variables which were not included in this research.

Abstract   This research has been conducted on March to November 2016, the study population is students at state senior high school 5 and  state senior high school 8 cities Bogor. The research method uses sequential analysis explanatory research with the aim to determine the level of correlation between the variables of students' perceptions of the school environment cultured with student participation in environmental conservation and explore factors - factors that affect the level of student participation in environmental conservation. Based on the research and analysis of data, it can be concluded that there is a very low among school students' perceptions about the environment cultured with student participation in environmental conservation. The relationship shown by the regression equation Y = 111.08 + 0.074 X with a correlation coefficient rx = 0.042 and determination coefficient rx² = 0.002. The factors affecting the level of student participation in the preservation of the environment is a factor internal and eksternal. Internal factor is factor self-awareness, knowledge and motivation, eksternal factor is factor intercomunication, peers, family and community.   Keyword : perceptions of the school environment cultured, participation in environmental conservation   Abstrak   Penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada Maret sampai November 2016, populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa- siswi di SMA Negeri 5 dan SMA Negeri 8 Kota Bogor. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis sequential explanatory dengan tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui tingkat korelasi antara variabel persepsi siswa tentang sekolah berbudaya lingkungan dengan partisipasi siswa dalam pelestarian lingkungan dan menggali factor – factor yang mempengaruhi tingkat partisipasi siswa dalam pelestarian lingkungan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang sangat rendah antara persepsi siswa tentang sekolah berbudaya lingkungan dengan partisipasi siswa dalam pelestarian lingkungan. Hubungan tersebut ditunjukan oleh persamaan regresi Ŷ = 111,08 + 0,074 X dengan koefisien korelasi rx = 0,042 dan koefisien determinasi rx² = 0,002. Adapun factor factor yang mempengaruhi tingkat partisipasi siswa dalam pelestarian lingkungan adalah  faktor interen dan eksteren. Faktor interen yaitu faktor kesadaran diri sendiri, pengetahuan dan motivasi, faktor eksteren yaitu faktor pergaulan, teman sebaya, keluarga dan masyarakat.   Kata Kunci : persepsi siswa tentang sekolah berbudaya lingkungan, partisipasi pelestarian lingkungan

Abstract: This Research aims to develop Student Worksheet Based on Problem Based Learning in Thermochemistry of Chemistry in Senior High School Subject in terms of valid based on the feasibility aspect of content, characteristics of problem based learning, serve, language, and graphic. This type of research is research and development (R and D) with reference to the development process of 4-D model. The subject of this research is student worksheet based on problem based learning. Instrument of data collection are validation and data collection technique given by three validators. Analysis of data obtained by the validity of aspect of content is 91.67% with valid category, the validity of characteristics of problem based learning is 96.67 with valid category, aspect of serve is 91,67% with valid category, the validity of aspect of language is 83,33% with valid category and validity of aspect of graphic is 89,58% with valid category. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that student worksheet based on problem based learning declared valid and can be used in Senior High School.

One manifestation of the important role of banking in a region, as implemented by PT Bank Sumut, Gunungsitoli Branch, is to distribute loans for investment, consumption and working capital for the people in the area. The purpose of providing credit for banks is the return of credit that earns interest and can increase income to finance activities and business continuity. From the results of research conducted with this data collection technique, it shows that PT Bank Sumut has a number of loans from 2009 to 2014 which each year rises. From this study, it is also known that the rate of credit repayment has a positive influence on the level of profitability.

Hidden curriculum is an integral part of the implementation of the education system. The existence of a hidden curriculum is absolutely necessary as a means of transfering positive character values to students. This study aims to determine the shape and implementation of hidden curriculum at Ehipassiko High School as one of the schools characterized by Buddhism. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique of this study uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of the study show that the hidden curriculum that appears in actual curriculum practice is reflected in learning activities such as: (a) the initial, core, and final activities of learning, (b) attached to all subjects; (c) student attitudes and comliance, and (d) exemplary teacher. Hidden curriculum in the learning process has a function as a tool and methid to increase the repertoire of students knowledge as well as a melting atmosphere of learning, resenting a respected and interesting teahing educator mode, so as to arouse students interest in learning. This research is expected to be an input for Ehipassiko Hidh School n particular and Buddhist schools in general to improve the quality of good Buddhist education.

AbstractStudents’ difficulties interpreting diagrams remain a concern in science education. Research about improving diagram comprehension has included few studies of teachers’ orchestration of language and gesture in explaining diagrams—and very few in senior high schools. Research with younger students and studies of research scientists’ practice indicate the significance of the interaction of teachers’ gesture and language in explaining visualisations. The strategic deployment of such teacher-focussed authoritative explanations has been observed in facilitating progression to more complex and symbolic representations in classroom work. However, the paucity of such research in senior high school leaves open the question of how these teachers use gesture and language in managing the challenges of explaining the intricate sub-microscopic and abstract visualisations senior high school students need to negotiate. In this paper, we outline existing studies of teachers’ use of gesture and language to explain complex images in senior high school and investigate how it is managed by two biology teachers with images of different types and complexity representing the activity of certain cell components in the early phase of cell duplication. Implications are drawn for foci of further research including the role of a metalanguage describing different types of visualisations and their affordances.

Background: Developing autonomy, the ability to solve problem situations, make decisions and act for the benefit of your social environment are modern life skills and can be developed in the school environment, along with mathematical content, and can be viable through the methodology of project projects, using active methodologies and the resources of digital technologies. Objectives: Discuss the Mathematics Curriculum or the work projects as a pedagogical proposition based on the development of three projects with the thematic Cryptography, Music, and Project launching applicable to the High School. Design: Qualitative research that sought to investigate work with projects in High School was used. Setting and Participants: Experiments developed with two classes of high school students in the Rio Grande do Sul state. Data collection and analysis: Data collection took place during the development of the project stages through students' written records and questionnaires. Results: It is considered that the Work Projects developed constituted a possibility to modify the role of the student and the teacher, allowing students to become active, participative, and committed to the development of their knowledge. Conclusions: It is understood that students, their learning and development must be the focus of the educational process. Therefore, the school curriculum must enable students to assume the role and responsibility for their learning.
