The article examines the positive psychological issues of the formation of national self-awareness and thinking through instilling in the younger generation, the preservation of the historically established high national and moral values of each nation. One of the main psychological factors in the formation of national self-awareness among each young generation is the awareness of the psychological past of people, which means that knowledge of what moral and psychological qualities they possess and how their people are progressing, which is widely reflected in the article. Because it is impossible to direct future development without knowing the ethnogenesis and ethnopsychological past of the people. Margaret Mead notes that the past of the older generation is the future of the younger generation. First of all, the role of the ethnocultural environment of the family in the formation of national identity is great. The main national values are born in the family, formed and instilled in children by parents in the process of action and communication. In the national consciousness of the younger generation, the family is considered sacred and exalted, perceived as an example of a small state. In the life of every family lives its spirit, spirituality, reflecting the identity of the people, serving the formation of national identity, passed down from generation to generation. Folklore samples, works of classics, historical monuments are of particular importance in obtaining information on the history of the psychological development of the people and play a key role in the formation of national identity and national self-awareness of the younger generation. The formation of national identity is the basis for the active generation and self-realization of the young generation, taking into account the acquisition of certain knowledge about the ethno psychological past of the people. The national consciousness of cognition of the psychological past of its people actively influences the further development of the young generation in terms of national self-development, national self-improvement. A young man who understands himself, feels his national identity with soul and blood, respects his people, is now in the spirit of national identity. But in the younger generation, national consciousness is not a connection with the past, but the preservation of the beauty of their people, propaganda and inspiration of the generation and the world, growing in accordance with the ideology of the time, and the elimination of people's shortcomings. The article emphasizes that the development of national self-awareness should not lead to national egoism, national individualism. Because where there is national egoism, there are outward features that arise exclusively from nationalist tendencies and are not characteristic of other nations and peoples, as well as for the nation itself, which leads to national conflicts between nations and peoples. Keywords: young generation, personality, national self-awareness, people, development.

A sense of nationalism is very important for the young generation of Indonesia to become a developed nation, a modern nation, a safe nation, and a peaceful, just and prosperous nation in the midst of globalization that increasingly challenges the Indonesian state. As a nation and a state in the midst of other nations in the world, a high national identity is needed from its citizens, especially among the young generation of Indonesia. The spirit of nationalism is still needed by the existence of the Indonesian people and the state. High nationalism from citizens or the younger generation will create positive and best behavior for the nation and state. In the current era of globalization, there are factors that cause the waning of the spirit of nationalism among the younger generation. This can be seen from several benchmarks, namely the lack of youth understanding of cultural values. Teenagers are now more likely to follow western culture which is very far in comparison with the norms and customs of the Indonesian nation, The main cause of the fading spirit of nationalism and nationality from the next generation of the nation is mainly due to the wrong and uneducational examples shown by the older generation or the elderly who tend to prioritize interests individuals and groups rather than prioritizing the interests of the nation and the people. This research method uses quantitative methods with data collection using literature studies based on the sources read.

Playing instrumental music in ensembles using ethnical instruments has also greatly contributed to preserving of Lithuanian traditions and national identity, as a way of national awareness. Object of research: Some aspects of schoolchild’s and students ethnic identity development through ethnic instrumental music. Aim of research: investigate of the meaning of teaching ethnic instrumental music in the process of developing the knowledge of the ethnical identity. Methods of research: questionnaire scientific methodological literature review, questionnaire and a summary of comparison. The traditions of playing instrumental music in ensembles are quite old and deep-rooted in Lithuania. Ethnical instruments (the kanklės, reed-pipes, pan flutes, etc.) have been always regarded as a symbol of national awareness. Therefore, continuity and dissemination of related traditions and their application in various aspects contributes, at least partially, to the possibility of preserving national values and developing national identity. Playing instruments in ensembles helps young people develop their musical listening skills and memory, get more matured spiritually, as well as form aesthetic feelings and artistic understanding of music. For educators, the ability to play different ethnical instruments is helpful in the respect of having more variety in their classes, involving the learners in extracurricular activities, and making closer acquaintances with the pupils and their parents. The possibility to develop the national identity of young people by means of playing in ensembles is exploited not only in Lithuania. This kind of experience has been used quite long in the practices of other countries. Therefore, in the rapid course of globalisation processes, it is of great importance to educate the young generation in the spirit of national traditions.

The article shows that globalization makes the largest influence on three significant guarantees of national identity (and freedom) preservation: language, economic and political independence. The possibilities to preserve and to consolidate freedom are discussed as well. The first theme analyzed is the worship and promotion of language, cultural and national values which mean not only safety but also openness and accessibility for other cultures (interchange). The second is the renunciation of servant position in relation with the European Union, the self‐spread and defence of economic interests. The third is more active defend of political interests in the European Union in search for the partners whose interests seceded to coincide with ours. The fourth is the implementation of the political self‐government principle, which should be grounded on the striving to preserve the national identity and culture which supply civil society. This way the gap between authorities and inhabitants decreases, it diminishes the distrust of citizens in authorities and it increases responsibility and accountability of authorities to the people who elected them. It is hoped that everything above mentioned would form more favourable environment for national self‐awareness and freedom to spread and grow strong as well.

Television is an important part of our daily life. TV has become «one of the family» and we cannot imagine our homes without one, two or even several TV sets. This situation of privilege in our families may turn into a double-edged sword: depending on the use given it may determine the people development and even manipulate the youngest ones if it is not used correctly. Making all the viewers –and especially the most vulnerable ones, the children- aware of the need for the use of TV from a critical and responsible point of view is a common task for all of us, family, school and society. And the fact is that we cannot only use the media passively, but in a dynamic and active way.

Fashion and technology have been deeply connected in Central Asia since the dawn of time. Every piece of clothing was the result of applying technology to materials found in nature, based on an idea that originated in someone's mind. Clothing held a mystical purpose as well as a utilitarian one, protecting the owner from all kinds of danger. What people wore signified who they were as individuals situated in the family and the cosmos. Changes in fashion went hand-in-hand with technological change as the inspiration for and outcome of new ideas. This is why one can predict with confidence that forms of high technology now emerging will be assimilated quickly by the local fashion industry. This signals a bright future for high tech fashion in Kazakhstan, where significant changes are already well underway. As the emerging fashion industry advances on its current trajectory of development, it will continue to express the beliefs, expectations, hopes and dreams of the people of Kazakhstan in a synthesis of elements from the past, present and future.
