The article deals with changing approach, content, and form of school-leaving exams in geography. Changes will become effective in medium-close future as integral part of crucial transformation of Czech educational system. Two different approaches towards education in general and their influence on the subject of geography are discussed.

The position of regional geography in the system of geographical sciences is a topic that has been the subject of intense epistemologically and methodologically focused discussion within scientific realm at the global level since the middle of the 20th century. The initial outcome of these processes at the academic level was the marginalization of regional geography in the study of spatial phenomena, but since then there was a partial revitalization of the regional approach. In view of these changes, the place of regional geography within geographical education also began to be problematized. In this paper, it is conducted a critical review of selected academic articles from the last few decades that at least in a certain segment touch on this topic, as well as analysis of recent trends in school geography. This analysis suggests that it is difficult to find an adequate replacement for regional content, especially in the geographical education at lower levels of education, and that in many countries it still represents the basis or at least an important part of the geographical curriculum. However, at the same time, the need for change of teaching approach based on the excessive so-called regional inventory of space, by introducing general geographical concepts in the study of regional units of various levels, and putting them in the service of the development of critical thinking in students.

This paper focuses on the impacts of the reforms in Chinese educational system. Education ispart of China’s overall development and it is known that the last recent decades the wholeChinese educational system has been the subject of unprecedented reforms. The increasedimpact of educational reforms has provided significant human resources and innovation,which facilitated progress in the economic, political, cultural, and social development. Thedevelopment of China's education system has been a major factor in its economic and socialgrowth. This article aims to examine some of the effects that the reforms have generated onthe entire Chinese education system and provide guidelines for minimizing limitations andweaknesses of the education system in its reforms. Using a qualitative approach to collect thedata drawn from articles and materials, this paper aims to discuss educational reforms andhow they affect the Chinese education system by exploiting the readings related to the subject.Some progress has been achieved in the extent to which transformations are perceptible.Gains have been made through educational policies supported by good economic health foryears. Despite the progress, education seems to be the field of some contradictions and thereis a need to overcome certain shortcomings and weaknesses of educative practices that theChinese educational system is still facing. Possible solutions are proposed in conclusion andrecommendation.

Abstract The existence of a human body is conditioned by: food, sleep, respiration. Without air man can live approximately 4 minutes. A longer break in access of oxygen to the brain results in irreversible changes of its functioning. Majority of adultscannot breathe economically and rhythmically. If respiration has such importance for the normal life of a man it shouldconstitute a significant part of educational system. Only in few national cultures, including Asia (e.g. in Japan andChina) the ability to breathe was made into an art. There, this art is subject to special care throughout many years of life of a person and is an essential component of mental hygiene. Respiration has particular importance while practicing physical exercise. The correct combination of respiration rhythm and movement is a prerequisite to remain healthy and to keep the ability to work, as well as to achieve high results in sport. Scarce information about this important issue could be found in some handbooks concerning health maintenance, but they were not found in the theory of: movement teaching, recreation, anthropokinesiology. It was a little number of papers publish about this very important problem [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16]. The issue of rational respiration was the subject of particular interest of scientists several years ago, but recently it has become only marginal. Consequently, the aim of this paper was to: 1. Study the literature connected with respiration and movement rhythm. 2. To define which phase of respiration: expiration or inspiration is more important in different sport exercises. 3. Elaboration a classification of kind respiration phase and different sports. 4. Methods for creating the art of rational respiration. 5. Relation of rational respiration rhythm to endurance.

After the reform of structure and agenda of Polish educational system at the end of twentiethcentury and at the beginning of twenty first century the new subject – the basis for entrepre-neurships – was introduced. The existence of the subject in Polish schools since 2003 gives usa reflection on the didactic aspect appointed by the goals, the tasks, and the achievementsrecorded in the foundation for the curriculum as well as embraced by authorial curricula. Thework presents the results of the research that aimed to:–recognize the types and frequencies of incentive methods used in teaching and learning thebasis for entrepreneurships,–getting teacher’s opinion on the instrument to perform the tasks imposed by the teaching ofthis subject,–recognize which of the didactic means are the most often used on the basis for entrepreneur-ships classes.

The goal of this article is to take into consideration the role of the basis of entrepreneurship in the educational system. Author gives particular attention to EU educational strategy, which presumes the entrepreneurship is essential skill for young people to function in the knowledge society and on new job markets. The necessity of promoting the view that the entrepreneurship prepares for self-employment was indicated in European field of education. The entrepreneurship is one of five key subjects, by which European educational system, related to EU project on employment and unemployment, is implemented. Furthermore author presents how important the subject is for the personal and social development of students.

This article concerns the discussions on and use of the Qur'an in the setting of Islamic Religious Education in Kisumu, Kenya. It is based on fieldwork conducted 2003 – 2006. Theoretically it uses a distinction between ritual and cognitive aspects of how the text is addressed. The author finds that the teaching is focused on the latter aspect. Hence, hypothetically the author argues, Islamic Religious Education, through the content and the form of the teaching as well as the position of the subject itself in the overall educational system, promotes a "demystification" of the text, providing it with a character that is quite different from the one dominating in the local Muslim context.

Present paper focuses on the social inequalities that are mainly manifested in the educational system. Therefore, I aim at reflecting on the sociological definitions that codify the subject in a theoretical context. The theoretical background of the study comprises the subsequent notions: equality and equity, inclusive society and education, bicultural socialization, and the relation between social mobility and school.

Abstract.ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGIES FOR AN INCLUSIVE SCHOOLInclusive education is a hanging task within the Spanish Educational System, and nowadays it presents a stalemate. On this initial hypothesis let’s sense beforehand a theoretical and descriptive research work, based on bibliographical study of previous research on the subject, in order to know how the principle of diversity care is developed in Spanish Compulsory Education System schools, and therefore inclusive education, and what this pointed stagnation can occur. The study parts of a shared conceptualization of inclusiveness, and aims to collect information, analyze and reflect on it, and make innovative and assumable proposals on the basis of the obtained results for the development and evolution of the subject. The purpose of our research will be the inclusive school. We document the evolutionary process in the development of Spanish inclusive education, until the stalemate that is currently observed, analyzing some research on the subject made in the last decade. We start from a general survey of the situation of the Spanish educational system regarding the issue of the inclusiveness, analyze contributions of some contrasted authorship, and reflect on the achievements and work to be done. This task allows us, while validating the initial hypothesis of the study, substantiate somewhat firmly the relevance of contributing strategies that collaborate in the positive development of an inclusive school project. To design these proposals, we depart from a few prerequisites, primarily within the realm of belief and unwavering principles, and subsequently we develop a catalogue of basic sequenced strategies, which like mandatory decalogue, are essential in order to define our institutions as an inclusive school.Keywords: diversity care, inclusive education, inclusive school, educational centers, organizational strategies.Resumen.La educación inclusiva es una tarea pendiente dentro del Sistema Educativo Español, y en estos momentos presenta un estancamiento. Sobre esta hipótesis inicial presentamos un trabajo de investigación teórico y descriptivo, en base a un estudio bibliográfico de investigaciones previas sobre el tema, con el fin de conocer cómo se desarrolla en los centros educativos de Educación Obligatoria del Sistema Educativo Español el principio de atención a la diversidad, y por tanto la educación inclusiva, y a que se puede deber este estancamiento apuntado. El estudio parte de una conceptualización compartida de inclusividad, y tiene como objetivos recabar información, analizar y reflexionar sobre ella, y elaborar propuestas de mejora, innovadoras y asumibles, sobre la base de los resultados obtenidos, para el desarrollo y evolución del tema. El objeto de nuestra investigación será la escuela inclusiva. Documentamos el proceso evolutivo en el desarrollo de la educación inclusiva en España, hasta llegar al estancamiento que se observa actualmente, analizando algunas investigaciones sobre el tema realizadas en la última década. Partimos de un estudio general de la situación del Sistema Educativo Español con relación al tema de la inclusividad, analizamos las aportaciones de algunas autorías contrastadas, y reflexionamos sobre los logros alcanzados y trabajo que queda por hacer. Esta tarea nos permite, a la vez que validar la hipótesis inicial del estudio, fundamentar con cierta solidez la pertinencia de aportar estrategias que colaboren en la evolución positiva de un proyecto de escuela inclusiva. Para diseñar estas propuestas, partimos de unos prerrequisitos, fundamentalmente dentro del terreno de las creencias, y unos principios irrenunciables, y posteriormente elaboramos un catálogo de estrategias básicas, secuenciadas, que a modo de decálogo de obligado cumplimiento, son imprescindibles para poder definir nuestras instituciones educativas como una escuela inclusiva.Palabras clave: atención a la diversidad, educación inclusiva, escuela inclusiva centros educativos, estrategias organizativas.

Nowadays we rightly speak about the crisis in education as a universal phenomenon, which amongst others, is caused by big changes and dilectics, which gives the crisis a permanent characteristic. The crisis can be seen between the given, planned, and wanted in real achievable conditions and the achieved, in these objective circumstances.The indicators of the crisis in the educational system are many, such as: efficiency of the system which is seen between input and output, the educational level of the population, the level of achieved individual educational needs, and society’s institutions, the level of motivation of youth and adults for permanent education and self-education, and then for creative work.The crisis is manifested through the number of illiterate people. Including the an-alphabetlcal literacy, and if we add to this modern computer illiteracy, the situation becomes really alarming. According to the first category of literacy, we hold the top rank amongst other countries in Europe, so that in some parts of the country we have up to 25% of Illiterate people over the age of 15 years.The causes of the crisis are many. Here are some of them: the aim and the tasks are not realistic, the educational plans and programmesa are not up to modern standards, democratisation and expansion of education is not accompanied by the educational infrastructure, the schools are isolated from social realities, economical status of education, accelereation of science, their didactical design and implimentation into educational plans and programmes, practical realisation of permanent education and training etc.The way out of the crisis, or putting it into acceptable limits lies in more intensive research and application of science, especially in the area of : integration of the school into all aspects of society, the re-design of school as a social institu- ion through better reproduction of teaching personnel, application of modern techniques, technology, methods, organisation of eductional process with the pupils as the subject in it, to develop the adult educational system, to give to educa- lion the status of profitable investment and not consumption.
