The aim is to study the prices, cost and profitability of honey from the Ruse region. A serious problem has been defined for honey, which is a major product of regional beekeeping, respectively its profitability - steadily declining prices do not cover the rising costs of production and sale. The study found that the average prices of the online segment of organic honey compared to the same offline segment in packages of 1 kg have a difference of almost 2 times, and in the smallest cuts 3 times. The gross profit (margin) of the regional honey of the B2B offline markets in the biological and conventional segment for 2020 is negative. The study found that own B2C online channels in the conventional segment achieve a net return of 48 BGN/year per beehive, and in the biological segment - 97.92 BGN/year per beehive. The latter provides 150 beehives with a net income of 1224 BGN/month, which is the yield on the sale of organic honey on the offline B2C markets with 950 beehives. Marketing strategies of beekeeping farms in the Ruse region are needed to achieve competitiveness and profitability at the sectoral and regional level.

TPerformance of 27 improved groundnut cultivars were assessed for agronomic and physiological traits associated to improve the productivity in degraded acid soils under rainfed hilly ecosystem. The cultivars ICGS- 76 and ICGV-86590 produced significantly p less then 0.05 higher pod yield with more than 39% improvement over JL-24. The study also identified five more promising cultivars viz. ICGS-5, TKG-19 A, TG-37-A, GG-11 and GG-21 with 19-38% higher yield over the check. The low productivity of cereals in the acidic and moisture stressed Jhum degraded upland soils of rainfed hilly ecosystem of Eastern Himalayan Region is a major concern for socio-economic improvement of resource poor farmers. Adoption of these cultivars is expected to increase the productivity and net income to a tune of 93.2% without incurring any additional costs to the prevailing production system.

Manokwari peoples activities and papua generally is simple. Seen from the land and profession of most indigenous Papuans is gardening. So the activity of papua people is bringing garden product to the market for sale and gets income. The purpose of research is to find out how much the product cost, how big the results of sales, how big Net Income and how much Net profit margin. Sample Method in this study is simple random sampling where 15 respondents of local traders who are in Sanggeng traditional markets and 15 respondents traders in Wosi traditional market taken with random. Data is taken based on interviews with questionnaire. Questionnaire contains data requirement from respondent that is income and cost. the data analysis method is Profitability with Net profit margin Analysis. Net profit margin is 69.2% means that the profit generated is 69.2% of the overall sales, every month every trader. This is because that 30.8% is all cost used of the total sales. Result of the Net profit margin means that the business of trading vegetables and tubers is potentially to increase income for the papua people.

It is of concern to many in the North East that despite the tremendous influence Gandhi had on the region, there is as yet no detailed study of this involvement. It is appropriate that the North-Eastern Regional Centre, Anthropological Survey of India, is commemorating the life and work of the Mahatma. To an organization engaged in anthropological studies working primarily in the fields of physical anthropology and cultural anthropology and maintaining focus on indigenous populations, the study of the Mahatma is relevant, in his own time and remains so today. So significant has been his impact on humankind that for generations to come this man of peace and unique leadership will be remembered and emulated. The presentation will focus on the Indian national movement and Gandhi’s involvement and influence at the regional level in North East India.

This study examines the factors that influence income smoothing practice, such as firm size, profitability, financial leverage, and net profit margin. Grouping among the companies that perform income smoothing, and that does not do income smoothing using Eckel index to net income for the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The research sample totaling 68 companies with a sub-sample of 204 financial reports. Observations were made during the three years, from 2008 to 2010. Statistical analysis using binary logistic regression to determine the factors that influence income smoothing. The results showed that the variables of profitability and net profit margins have significant differences between smoothing company profits by not smoothing profits, while the variable firm size and financial leverage has no significant difference. Test results using a multivariate binary logistic regression either simultaneously or separately on the four independent variables thought to affect the practice of income smoothing apparently no one has proved influential. Thus it can be concluded that firm size, profitability, financial leverage, and net profit margin has no effect on the practice of income smoothing.

Abstract: The objective of this work was to evaluate the agro-economic performance of sesame (Sesamum indicum) under nitrogen fertigation in the semiarid region of Northeastern Brazil. The experimental design was randomized complete blocks with four replicates, and the treatments were arranged in a split-plot, where the plots were assigned five N rates (0, 30, 60, 90, and 120 kg ha-1) and the sub-plots were represented by four sesame genotypes ('CNPA G2', 'CNPA G3', 'CNPA G4', and 'BRS Seda'). The following variables were evaluated in two agricultural harvests in 2016: gross and net incomes, rate of return, and profit margin. In both harvests, there was a variation in production costs between N rates. In the second harvest, the highest values of net income were achieved with 120 kg ha-1 N fertigation, being: R$7,428.36 ha-1 for 'CNPA G2', R$8,630.74 ha-1 for 'CNPA G3', R$9,828.64 ha-1 for 'CNPA G4', and R$8,354.06 ha-1 for 'BRS Seda'. Increasing N rates provide an increase in the gross income, net income, rate of return, and profit margin for sesame producers. Fertigation with 120 kg ha-1 N provides the maximum agro-economic performance for sesame, whereas the 'CNPA G4' genotype shows the greatest agro-economic efficiency.
