Transportation safety must be obeyed by all modes of transportation. The railroad crossing is one point that has the potential for conflict between railroad shares and road users. In accordance with applicable regulations, railroad facilities are prioritized when passing level crossings. In fact, road users often try to break the rules. This research aims to present alternative solutions to improve the safety of road users and railroad lines at cross section level. This research uses a method that begins with a literature study. Next through the design phase, the prototype stage and finally the testing phase. The results of this study are the prototype of the railroad direction detector and the identification of electronic-based railways by using an Arduino Microcontroller. The result shows an LCD board that can provide information to road users for the train's arrival direction and train name. With this information it is expected that road users are more concerned with safety and can be careful when passing a level crossing.

This study aims to describe the form of Quantitative Easing applied by the Central Bank as well as qualitatively measure its benefits and excesses. To obtain a description and know the benefits and excesses in question, the research approach uses a qualitative approach by conducting a literature study of several facts and quantitative easing studies by Bank Indonesia and the Fed from various literature and media inductively relevant theories. This study's findings show that excesses can be detrimental to society, and countries that are shariah are harmful that should be avoided. This research is expected to encourage further research to determine the correlation of Quantitative Easing policy to the resolution of economic crisis and obtain alternative solutions by implementing the Islamic monetary system. The impact of the covid-19 pandemic that continues to this day causes economic shock, the slowing flow of goods commodities, decreased production, and decreased purchasing power of the community. Various policy efforts are carried out through fiscal stimulus as well as support through monetary policy in the form of quantitative easing.

Using a simple approximation for the theoretical atomic interaction constants cross section data for level crossing and Hanle-effect line broadening experiments in Rb, Mg+ and Ca+ rare gas systems could be derived. It is shown that in the Rb system the interaction C6R-6 is predominant and that the results are little influenced by dipole-quadrupole and repulsive interactions in the frame work of the Lindholm-Foley-Hindmarsh theory.

Abstract Background and aim Scaffold design and plaque characteristics influence implantation outcomes and local flow dynamics in treated coronary segments. Our aim is to assess the impact of strut embedment/protrusion of bioresorbable scaffold on local shear stress distribution in different atherosclerotic plaque types. Method Fifteen Absorb everolimus-eluting Bioresorbable Vascular Scaffolds were implanted in human epicardial coronary arteries. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) was performed post-scaffold implantation and strut embedment/protrusion were analyzed using a dedicated software. OCT data was fused with angiography to reconstruct three-dimensional coronary anatomy. Blood flow simulation was performed and wall shear stress (WSS) was estimated in each scaffolded surface and the relationship between strut embedment/protrusion and WSS was evaluated. Results There were 9083 struts analysed. Ninety-seven percent of the struts (n=8840) were well apposed and 243 (3%) were malapposed. At cross-section level (n=1289), strut embedment was significantly increased in fibroatheromatous plaques (76±48μm) and decreased in fibro-calcific plaques (35±52 μm). Compatible with strut embedment, WSS was significantly higher in lipid-rich fibroatheromatous plaques (1.50±0.81Pa), whereas significantly decreased in fibro-calcified plaques (1.05±0.91Pa). After categorization of WSS as low (<1.0 Pa) and normal/high WSS (≥1.0 Pa), the percent of low-WSS in the plaque subgroups were 30.1%, 31.1%, 25.4% and 36.2% for non-diseased vessel wall, fibrous plaque, fibro-atheromatous plaque and fibro-calcific plaque, respectively (p-overall<0.001). Table 1. Conclusion The composition of the underlying plaque influences strut embedment which seems to have effect on WSS. The struts deeply embedded in lipid-rich fibroatheromas plaques resulted in higher WSS compared to the other plaque types.

Official statistics showed that more than half of level crossing accidents in Taiwan were caused by intrusion of road users violating the right-of-way of the railroad. Thus it is critical that addition measures be developed to prevent or mitigate the seriousness of intrusion incidences even though many warning facilities are already in place. In this paper we propose to use real-time crossing cite image to provide train drivers with more vital information than alarm signals. In addition, we also take advantage of the radio link capacity to display numerical information of train distance on the fly to deter potential intrusion attempts. The result of this project can be used as reference design for the augmentation of level crossing safety of rail systems facing similar intrusion problems.

Vehicles moving across the railway are exposed to the dynamic reaction of unevenness of surface on those level crossing. This significantly influences on the increase of the acceleration as well as forces values transferred to the body of the car. These values depend to extent on the geometric parameters of level crossing as well as on the characteristics of the car tires and suspension. The paper presents the results of experimental tests of a small delivery vehicle crossing selected level crossings with a diversified geometric cross-section structure.

An ultra-wideband (UWB) circularly polarized complex spiral antenna with low radar cross section (RCS) is proposed in this paper. By replacing the metal reflect board of the antenna with a novel UWB frequency selective surface (FSS), the RCS of the spiral antenna is significantly reduced in a wide frequency range, while the radiation performances of the spiral antenna are maintained. The proposed antenna operates over the frequency band between 2GHz to 6.5GHz under the condition of axial ratio<3dB and |S11| < - 10dB. Simulation and measurement results demonstrate the validation of broadband spiral antenna RCS reduction by using the novel UWB FSS.

Indian Railways is one of the public transportation modes in the country. It is the largest interconnected rail routes which carry many numbers of people from one end to another end. In this, various level crossings are operated on the rail routes and some of the level crossing gates are operated manually. This process is carried out by getting the information from the previous station once the train left the station. In this process, lots of mishaps are occurring due to human interventions and also there is no safety for road users. This issue can be overcome by making the same process in an automated manner. Hence, in this research work, a new automated level crossing model is proposed using the technology “Internet of Things” (IoT). This model will provide
