The problem in this research is students still do not understand when writing scientific papers, in choosing a topic or problem, determining the title of a scientific paper, making an introduction, as well as references or data needed in writing scientific papers. The purpose of this service activity is to increase the knowledge of the participants about the importance of writing scientific papers and to improve the ability of the participants to determine the title and make an introduction properly and correctly according to the guidelines for writing scientific papers. The method used is the method of lectures, discussions and exercises. The results of the service activities show that 85% of participants who come from students who take part in this training activity can determine the title of the scientific work and prepare an introduction in the scientific work.

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan mahasiswa STKIP Citra Bakti, antara lain: (1) penguasaan teori-teori yang digunakan dalam menulis karya ilmiah sangat minim; (2) kemampuan mengakses informasi karya ilmiah dari berbagai sumber masih minim. (3) kaidah ilmiah yang digunakan dalam menulis masih rendah; (4) masih banyak ditemukan copy paste. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya upaya pencegahan tindakan plagiarisme dalam menulis karya ilmiah di kalangan mahasiswa STKIP Citra Bakti melalui kegiatan sharing se­ssion dengan tema “Perilaku Plagiarisme dan Strategi Anti Plagiarisme dalam Menulis Karya Ilmiah” dan membuka ruang konsultasi apabila mahasiswa kesulitan dalam menghadapi masalah plagiarism di lingkup STKIP Citra Bakti. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan melalui ceramah, presentasi, tatap muka, dan diskusi secara semi-online. Khalayak sasaran dari program pendampingan ini adalah 109 orang mahasiswa STKIP Citra Bakti yang sedang mengambil program mata kuliah skripsi. Indikator keberhasilan kegiatan didasarkan pada respon positif peserta terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan  sharing session dan seluruh naskah skripsi mahasiswa bebas dari tindakaan plagiarisme dengan toleransi kemiripan sebesar < 30% sebagai syarat dalam mengikuti sidang skripsi di STKIP Citra Bakti. Adapun hasil cek similarity naskah skripsi mahasiswa ditemukan ada 128 kali pengecekan naskah skripsi dimana terdapat 46 (35,9%) lolos cek similarity di tahap pertama, 31(24,2%) lolos cek similarity di tahap kedua, 25 (19,5%) lolos cek similarity lebih dari dua kali. Kata kunci: karya ilmiah; menulis; pencegahan; plagiarism; sharing session. ABSTRACTThis community service activity is motivated by the problems of STKIP Citra Bakti students, including: (1) mastery of the theories used in writing scientific papers is very minimal; (2) the ability to access scientific work information from various sources is still minimal. (3) scientific principles used in writing are still low; (4) there are still many copy-pastes found. Therefore, there is a need for efforts to prevent plagiarism in writing scientific papers among STKIP Citra Bakti students through sharing sessions with the theme "Plagiarism Behavior and Anti-Plagiarism Strategies in Writing Scientific Papers" and open a consultation room if students have difficulty dealing with plagiarism problems in the scope of STKIP Citra Bakti. The method of carrying out activities is through lectures, presentations, face-to-face, and discussions by semi-online.The target audience of this mentoring program is 109 STKIP Citra Bakti students who are currently taking thesis courses. The indicator for the success of the activity is based on the positive response of participants to the implementation of sharing session activities and the student's thesis script passes the similarity check with a similarity tolerance <30% as a requirement for participating in the thesis trial at STKIP Citra Bakti. The results of the similarity check for student thesis scripts found that there were 128 thesis checks where 46 (35.9%) passed the similarity check in the first stage, 31 (24.2%) passed the similarity check in the second stage, 25 (19.5%) passed the similarity check. similarity check more than twice. Keywords: scientific paper; writing; prevention; sharing session.

The Creation

Desktop mendeley application is actually an application intended to facilitate the creation of citations and a list of libraries commonly used by the authors, so the authors will be pressed error in making the bibliography and facilitate in obtaining the writings to be cited. In addition to creating scientific papers, this application can also be used to manage the files of online journal articles that are the output of a scientific work. Furthermore, participants can utilize this application for the purpose of making a bibliography or collection of abstracts of certain fields of journal articles subscribed. Training activities undertaken in Community Service activities show that participants have a material understanding and the potential to make refernsi managers better and maximum by utilizing mendeley desktop applications.

The community service undertaken aims to provide training to the teachers at Handayani Senior High School about the importance of producing quality scientific papers. Specifically, this training provides the opportunity for participants to practice directly how to write scientific papers using Mendeley software for reference used in the paper. Mendeley is a computer and web program developed by Elsevier to manage and share research papers, search for research data, and work together online. Posts made with Microsoft Word, Open Office or LaTex can be linked to Mendeley software so that citations and reference lists (bibliography) can be arranged automatically. To achieve the goals and targets of this community service activity (PPM), the implementers use the lecture, discussion and practicum methods so that the trainees can easily understand the material provided in the training. The activities carried out involve the teachers at Handayani Pekanbaru Senior High School as participants. The response from the participants is positive which can be seen from their active participation during the activity. They also find the training really useful to help them become more productive teachers by writing more scientific papers using Mendeley.   Keywords: Community Service, Scientific Paper, Reference, Mendeley Abstract Pengabdian pada masyarakat yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada para guru SMA Handayani Pekanbaru akan pentingnya menghasilkan karya tulis ilmiah yang berkualitas. Secara specifik, pelatihan ini memberikan kesempatan kepada para peserta untuk praktek langsung bagaimana menulis karya ilmiah dengan menggunakan software mendeley untuk referensi rujukan yang di gunakan dalam karya tulis. Mendeley merupakan program komputer dan web yang dikembangkan Elsevier untuk mengelola dan berbagi makalah penelitian, mencari data penelitian, dan bekerja sama secara daring. Tulisan yang dibuat dengan Microsoft Word, Open Office atau LaTex bisa dihubungkan dengan software Mendeley sehingga sitasi dan daftar referensi (bibliography) bisa disusun secara otomatis. Untuk mencapai tujuan dan target dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat (PPM) ini, maka pelaksana menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan praktikum agar peserta pelatihan dapat mudah memahami materi yang diberikan pada pelatihan tersebut. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan diikuti oleh para guru di SMA Handayani Pekanbaru. Peserta merespon kegiatan ini dengan sangat positif yang bisa dilihat dari keaktifan mereka selama kegiatan berlangsung. Lebih jauh mereka merasa pelatihan sangat berguna dalam membantu mereka menjadi guru yang lebih produktif untuk menulis lebih banyak karya ilmiah menggunakan aplikasi Mendeley.

Teachers as professional educators should have some competencies, such as pedagogical competence, personal competence, social competence, and professional competence. The focus of this workshop is on the professional competence which its definition is the teacher's ability in mastering broad and in-depth subject matter that allows guiding students to meet the competency standards set in the National Education Standards. There are many activities that can support or enhance the professional competence of teachers, such as writing. By writing, teachers have the opportunity to develop themselves in order to become more creative, active, innovative and professional teachers. The module of X applications usage for vocational teachers can be used to support teacher activities in writing scientific papers. This module will be useful to facilitate the writing of citations in a scientific work. Using the Mendeley application in this workshop, make the teacher to be more insightful which support their research activity, also can improve their motivation to know how the important thing of research in their field. Therefore, this service activity want to give the teacher a knowledge of tips and tricks to facilitate journal writing. There are tools that can be used to make citations in the bibliography, such as the reference feature, Endnote, or Mendeley. So that the teacher's writing will be known and it is easier for teacher to convey the results of his research in relevant journals, especially vocational teachers in Malang.

Digital identifier is a technology used to prove ownership of a work. At this time, the Digital Object Identifier is a form of implementation of the digital identifier used in every scientific work. Not infrequently there are several cases of theft of ownership or copyright of a work, both scientific works, and certain other works. Watermarking is a technique created to protect the ownership of works. Watermarking techniques can be applied to several media such as audio, video, and also documents, one of which is the Portable Document Format document file. In this study, researchers want to build copyright protection for scientific works. Researchers offer research concepts using a Digital Object Identifier which is always installed on scientific papers to be published. The Digital Object Identifier will later become the basic data in building the Quick Response Code. The Digital Object Identifier of each scientific work will not be the same as each other, this will certainly make the Quick Response Code more unique. The results show that the watermarking process in building copyright protection of scientific works can be very successful Quick Response Code can be read and detected properly without experiencing lag time. Quick Response Code readings from several variations of motion are also not very influential, so it can be concluded that distance does not limit the detection of Quick Response Codes. From this research, researchers can deduce that the watermark is performed on the scientific work not only serves as the copyright protection of that scientific paper but can also be an alternative for other researchers to access the scientific work.

Abstract: The purpose of this Community Service activities are aimed at disseminating the increase in the number of professional teachers for credit through the writing of scientific papers, providing the knowledge and understanding of how to write a scientific paper in the journal scientific, and produces scientific papers in the form of the paper/article about education-elementary's.In addition, this Community Service is a vehicle for the study Program PGSD to devote keilmuannya.Target audience Devotion On this society is The primary teachers se-Banyusari sub district of Falkirk which is the teacher of Civil Servants and Non-Civil Servants totalling 20 people from the planned 32 people.This activity is a method of training for 2 days of writing scientific papers.The implementation is done by the training, using the method of lecture with presentation techniques, followed by a question and answer discussions and exercises as a form of scientific paper-writing workshop activities as betuk professional development of teachers.The results of the implementation of the community service Society showed still lack of success because the participants are present just as many as 20 men primary school teachers from the plan of 32 people.Nevertheless, the Community Service activities whose primary purpose is to provide an understanding of writing scientific papers.It can be seen from his enthusiasm the primary teachers in following the whole training activities, both in the granting of material.The teachers also show enthusiasm when conducting discussions.Keyword: Writing Of Scientific Works, Primary School TeachersAbstrak: Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat ini adalah bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan kenaikan angka kredit bagi guru profesional melalui penulisan karya ilmiah, memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang tata cara menulis karya ilmiah pada jurnal ilmiah, dan menghasilkan karya ilmiah berupa naskah/artikel tentang pendidikan ke-SD-an. Selain itu, Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat ini merupakan wahana bagi Program Studi PGSD untuk mengabdikan keilmuannya. Khalayak sasaran Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat ini adalah Para guru SD se-kecamatan Banyusari kabupaten Karawang yang merupakan guru PNS dan Non PNS berjumlah 20 orang dari yang direncanakan 32 orang. Metode kegiatan ini adalah Pelatihan selama 2 hari tentang penulisan karya ilmiah. Pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan pelatihan, menggunakan metode ceramah yaitu dengan teknik presentasi, dilanjutkan dengan diskusi tanya jawab dan latihan sebagai bentuk kegiatan workshop penulisan karya ilmiah sebagai betuk pengembangan profesi guru. Hasil pelaksanaan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat dapat diidentifikasi mengenai tingkat pemahaman peserta pengabdian adalah bahwa 70% peserta pengabdian memahami konsep penulisan karya ilmiah sebagai pengembangan profesi guru yang profesional. Kegiatan pelatihan berjalan dengan lancar dihadiri oleh 20 peserta undangan. Peserta pelatihan terlihat antusias dengan materi pelatihan yang diberikan. Hal ini terlihat dari awal hingga akhir acara, semua peserta mengikuti dengan baik. Para guru juga memperlihatkan antusiasnya ketika melakukan diskusi.Kata Kunci: Penulisan Karya Ilmiah, Guru SD

The existence and quality of higher education nowadays can be influenced by the high and low levels of scientific work owned by lecturers and students. This scientific work becomes very important in the existence and quality of tertiary institutions because it's ranking at the national and international level is calculated on the ownership of the scientific work. So it is not surprising that BAN-PT as an external quality assurance institution which also has the task of assessing the accreditation of higher education also includes its assessment on this matter. Thus higher education that is technically operational at the study program level also pressures lecturers and students to be productive, which is to produce as much scientific work as possible. Even some lecturers provide requirements for students to write a scientific paper when they want to propose a thesis session. However, the number of scientific works owned by lecturers and students will not mean anything when not published in a journal that uses an open journal system. This emphasis lies in the open journal system, where the meaning will be far different from online journals. In general, not many students understand how to submit scientific papers in the form of articles to the open journal system there are still many lecturers who do not understand the process in the open journal system. For this reason, knowledge transfer in the form of technical training to submit articles in the online journal system is carried out. The main goal is to provide knowledge and insight into submitting articles. The results of the activity show the progress of understanding and knowledge, this is proven by simulations through the application of OJS version 2 which is used for the training process by the participants.

The methods for identification of near-duplicates in electronic scientific papers, which include the content of the same type, for example, text data, mathematical formulas, numerical data, etc. were described. For text data, the method of locally sensitive hashing with the finding of Hamming distance between the elements of indices of electronic scientific papers was formalized. If Hamming distance exceeds a fixed numerical threshold, a scientific paper contains a near-duplicate. For numerical data, sub-sequences for each scientific work are formed and the proximity between the papers is determined as the Euclidian distance between the vectors consisting of the numbers of these sub-sequences. To compare mathematical formulas, the method for comparing the sample of formulas is used and the names of variables are compared. To identify near-duplicates in graphic information, two directions are separated: finding key points in the image and applying locally sensitive hashing for individual pixels of the image. Since scientific papers often include such objects as schemes and diagrams, subscriptions to them are examined separately using the methods for comparing text information. The combined method for identification of near-duplicates in electronic scientific papers, which combines the methods for identification of near-duplicates of various types of data, was proposed. To implement the combined method for the identification of near-duplicates in electronic scientific papers, an information-analytical system that processes scientific materials depending on the content type was devised. This makes it possible to qualitatively identify near-duplicates and as widely as possible identify possible abuses and plagiarism in electronic scientific papers: scientific articles, dissertations, monographs, conference materials, etc.

Khalayak  sasaran  dari  pengabdian  ini  adalah  siswa/siswi  di  desa Karangjaya. Kegiatan pengabdian  telah  dilaksanakan  pada  tanggal  4-6 Agustus yang  bertempat  di desa Karangjaya Kecamatan Pedes Kabupaten Karawang, dengan diikuti oleh 30 orang peserta siswa/siswi  SD. Dari  hasil  evaluasi  diperoleh  hasil  dan  manfaat  dari  kegiatan  pengabdian  ini diantaranya adalah meningkatkan motivasi belajar bahasa daerah yaitu basa sunda, dan keterampilan siswa dalam menulis dan membaca aksara sunda serta menembangkan pupuh-pupuh yang ada pada pelajaran bahasa sunda. Kegiatan pengabdian  ini  berjalan  dengan  lancar,  karena  berbagai  pendukung  terutama  partisipasi peserta yang cukup antusias dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan penataan kelompok belajar ini. Kegiatan penataan  ini  hendaknya  dilakukan  pada  sasaran  yang  lebih  luas  dan  materinya dapat dikembangkan lagi sehingga siswa/siswi lebih banyak mendapatkan materi tentang bahasa daerah yaitu bahasa sunda. Tujuan  kegiatan  pengabdian  kepada  masyarakat  ini,  yang  dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan penataan kelompok belajar adalah memotivasi siswa/siswi agar bersemangat belajar dan belajar melestarikan bahasa sunda, membekali siswa/sisi pengetahuan bahasa sunda dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang mengasikan, membekali siswa/siswi cara menembangkan pupuh dengan nada yang sesuai, membekali siswa/siswi menulis dan membaca aksara sunda dengan baik dan benar. Sebuah karya tulis ilmiah yang berisi karya inovatif dalam proses pembelajaran sangat diperlukan oleh guru-guru sebagai syarat kenaikan pangkat dalam pengembangan profesi mereka, termasuk guru-guru SMA/sederajat di Kabupaten Bintan. Namun, pada umumnya mereka mengalami kendala dalam membuat karya tulis ilmiah disebabkan kesulitan dalam mencari sumber referensi yang relevan dengan topik penelitian, keterbatasan pengetahuan dalam TIK, dan kesulitan dalam mengolah kalimat agar tidak terdeteksi sebagai kegiatan plagiasi. Tujuan kegiatan ini agar para guru SMA/sederajat di Kabupaten Bintan dapat membuat karya tulis ilmiah yang sesuai kaedah penulisan yang baik dan bebas plagiasi dengan bantuan manajemen referensi Mendeley. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dalam bentuk workshop/pelatihan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan projek. Kegiatan dilakukan selama dua hari dalam bentuk workshop dan dua hari dalam bentuk tugas mandiri. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dianggap berhasil karena sebesar 80% peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan tentang manajemen referensi Mendeley dan mampu mengaplikasikannya ke dalam bentuk karya tulis ilmiah yang bebas plagiasiKata Kunci: GMP; Terasi Tutok, Standarisasi; Kuala Pusing Kapal.Development of Mendeley Reference Assisted Scientific Writing Ability Management for High Schools Teachers in BintanAbstractA scientific paper containing innovative work in the learning process is very much needed by teachers as a condition of promotion in their professional development, including high school / equivalent teachers in the Bintan Regency. However, in general, they experience difficulties in making scientific papers due to difficulties in finding reference sources that are relevant to the research topic, limited knowledge in ICT, and difficulty in processing sentences so as not to be detected as plagiarism activities. The purpose of this activity is for high school / equivalent teachers in Bintan Regency to be able to make scientific papers in accordance with good writing methods and to be free of plagiarism with the help of Mendeley's reference management. The implementation of this activity is in the form of workshops/training using lecture, discussion, question and answer, and project methods. The activity was carried out for two days in the form of a workshop and two days in the form of an independent assignment. This community service activity was considered successful because 80% of the participants experienced an increase in knowledge about Mendeley's reference management and were able to apply it in the form of plagiarism-free scientific papers.
