The purpose of the study was to investigate and determine the role of households in beef production on the basis of the generalization of theoretical provisions and the analysis of analytical data. In the course of the research it was revealed that in Ukraine, in the market conditions of management, an important role was given to entrepreneurship. There are three main groups of agricultural producers in Ukraine: agricultural enterprises, farms and households. The dynamics of cattle in terms of farm categories is shown. The main factors influencing the reduction of cattle and beef production in the current economic conditions have been identified. The structure of beef production is analyzed and the main producers are identified. It is difficult to estimate the role of households in beef and veal production. The main problem of the beef and veal market is the reduction of the commercial attractiveness of the livestock industry, which leads to a reduction in the number of cattle and, consequently, a reduction in meat production. The development of beef production in households is substantiated. In general, for most rural households engaged in cattle breeding in Ukraine and developing countries, livestock production was a source of food and cash, a means of survival.

The article discusses the role of the social context in the evolution of implemented urban development utopia. The ontological and morphostructural problems of one of the implemented urban development utopias on the example of the city of Togliatti are revealed. It was established that the general plan of the Avtozavodsky district of Tolyatti, which fully met the ideals of the Athenian Charter, came into conflict with the idea of the city as a concentrated environment. It is noted that modern Togliatti is in search of a solution to the problem of the integrity of the urban structure. The conclusion is drawn: overcoming the crisis state of Togliatti lies in the field of generating, including new utopias; integration of existing morphostructures; reinforcing redundant conceptuality of form with contextual content. A new morphological unit is proposed - this is macro frame, which is based on multilevel integration of traffic and pedestrian flows.

Most often, company frauds are revealed by a whistle blower. This study attempts to observe the dimensions of the existence and role of the organization of internal auditors and the witness protection agency as external factors influencing an internal auditor to become a whistle-blower. It also explores the effects of the internal auditor competencies, the moral attitude of the internal auditor, and the ethical behavior of company’s internal auditors as internal factors influencing an internal auditor on being a whistle-blower. The independent auditors are considered as the population as they are often connected with the internal auditors. They need the information from the internal auditor about fraud or abuse in the company. Questionnaires were mailed to them and analyzed using Partial Least Squares. It showed that only the ethical behavior of company’s internal auditors influenced them to be whistle blowers coupled by a witness protection program. To develop sound corporate governance in Indonesia,a whistle blower system is needed with emphasis on a strong witness protection. At present, Indonesia does not have the whistle blower act.

In 2011, the Middle East was plunged into turmoil with a series of popular uprisings ousting a number of long standing dictators. Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak’s 30 year reign was toppled in just over two weeks. This thesis takes a theoretical approach to the Egyptian Revolution, assessing the extent to which the Egyptian case lends support to various theories which consider transitions away from authoritarianism and towards democracy, and the extent to which these theories can assist us in understanding why democracy has not resulted in Egypt. There are a number of strands of theoretical work which consider both transitions away from authoritarianism and towards democracy, and the factors influencing the timing and mode of transition. These include structural theories related to economic modernisation, inequality and crisis; those related to the role of elites and civil society in influencing transitions, whether from above or below; ideas surrounding the diffusion of, and international influences on, democratisation; and arguments considering the role of religion and culture. This thesis argues that theories of authoritarian breakdown garner more support from the Egyptian case than theories of democratisation. Ideas related to the diffusion of contentious politics and international influences on transition, as well as the role of both elites and civil society, garner support from the Egyptian case. Structural theories related to economic conditions, and the role of religion and culture, garner less support from events in Egypt.
