One of the jobs that is prone to stress is a nurse. According to PPNI, 50.9% of Indonesian nurses experience work stress. This study was to determine the factors that influence the stress of nurses at the Putri Hijau Level II Hospital, Medan. The research design used was cross sectional with a population of 152 nurses in this study and the sample used a stratified random sampling technique to 60 nurses. Data analysis using binary logistic regression test. Research shows that there is an effect of workload (p = 0.03) and interpersonal relationship (p = 0.03) on nurses 'work stress, while the variables of gender, tenure, career development and role conflict have no effect on nurses' work stress. Workload and interpersonal relationships in the workplace have the potential to cause work stress for nurses. So it is advisable for the management to adjust the physical and mental workload with the capacity and ability of nurses, and strive for a conducive social environment.

All professionals in the hospital have a risk of stress, but nurses have a higher stress level. High levels of work stress also affect the performance, satisfaction, productivity, and caring behavior of nurses will be lower. If nurses experience work stress and are not managed properly, it can eliminate the care for patients, increase errors in patient care and endanger patient safety. This study aims to analyze the relationship of workload, interpersonal relationships, work safety and the level of dependence of patients with nurses work stress at Naimata General Hospital Kupang. This type of research is an analytic survey with cross sectional study design. The population in this study were 38 people with samples taken using the Total Sampling technique, the test used was a multiple linear regression test. T test results show there is a relationship between workload (p = 0.029 <α = 0.05), interpersonal relationship (p = 0.012 <α = 0.05) and work safety (p = 0,000 <α = 0.05) with stress nurse work. There was no relationship between the level of patient dependence (p = 0.281> α = 0.05) with nurses work stress. The results of the F test showed that together with the independent variables related to work stress nurses (p = 0,000 <α = 0.05) with a coefficient of determination of 62.5%. It is recommended for the hospital to conduct training for nurses on how to handle mental patients.

According to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), nurses are professions that are very high risk of stress. Results of a survey by the Persatuan Perawat Nasional Indonesia (PPNI), where in 2006, approximately 50.9% of hospital nurses working in four provinces experienced work stress. This study aims to determine the relationship of job insecurity and mental workload with job stress contract nurses at RSJD Atma Husada Mahakam Samarinda. This research uses analytic survey method with cross sectional research design. The variables in this study are Job Insecurity, Mental Workload and Job Stress. The respondents of this research are contract nurses at RSJD Atma Husada Mahakam with total subject of this research is 74 respondents, sampling technique using Total Sampling. Data were analyzed by using Pearson Correlation test with α = 0,05. The result showed that there was a relationship between job insecurity (p = 0.0001) and mental workload (p = 0,004) with work stress. The conclusion of this research is job insecurity and mental work load is the factor causing the occurrence of job stress on contract nurses at RSJD Atma Husada Mahakam. It is advisable to pay more attention to the nurse's need to reduce the level of job insecurity and mental workload by raising nurse staffing status for nurses with more than 5 years working period and providing pension guarantee and providing training to improve nurse's ability.

Introduction: Nurse work stress is a condition where nurses are faced with work demands that can result in physiological, psychological & behavioral disorders and can affect performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of nurses work stress levels with the implementation of Surgical Safety Checklist in the operating room. Methods: This research method uses correlational with cross-sectional approach and 18 respondents with a sampling technique using the entire population. The independent variable in this study is the level of work stress nurses with the dependent variable implementation of the Surgical Safety Checklist. The research instrument used a questionnaire on nurses' work stress levels and the Surgical Safety Checklist observation sheet. Scatterplot analysis results obtained negative direction which means that the increase in the variable level of work stress nurses will be followed by a decrease in the implementation of the Surgical Safety Checklist. Result: The results of the correlation coefficient 0.637 with strong interpretation and t count 3.24 more than the results of t table 1.76 means that there is a linear relationship of. Conclussion: There are relationship of nurses work stress levels with the implementation of Surgical Safety Checklist in the operating room. Discussion for the results of research where the increasing level of work stress nurses, the implementation of the Surgical Safety Checklist decrease. The recommendation for further research is to conduct research into work stress factors for nurses with the impact that can result from work stress with a higher number of respondents

Background: Coronavirus disease is a highly transmittable and pathogenic viral infection caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2, which poses therapeutic dilemmas. Some suggestions for drug treatment seem problematic. Beliefs about the causes of health problems are determinants of treatment seeking decisions. Hence, one of the alternatives for the solution of health problems is employing traditional medicine to prevent coronavirus disease 19. Objective: To assess the knowledge, attitude, and utilization of drugs toward the coronavirus disease 19 pandemic among Bale zone residents. Methods: Community-based cross-sectional study was conducted among the Bale Zone population from May 30 to June 30, 2020. Eight hundred fifty-four participants were selected using a single population formula, and a multistage sampling technique was employed. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 25.0. Descriptive and binary logistic regression was used to analyze the outcomes. A p value ⩽ 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: Out of the total 854 respondents, about 534 (62.5%) got information about coronavirus disease 19 from TV/radio. More than two-thirds (71.9%) of the respondents have known that severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 has no curative drugs, and 65.4% had a more appropriate attitude toward overall drug use in coronavirus disease 19. Level of education and, attitude towards drug use were singnificantly associated with knowledge of drugs, source of information about coronavirus disease 19 and having good practice were significantly associated with atittude toward drug utilization. Conclusion: One out of two study participants have good knowledge regarding drugs to the coronavirus disease 19 pandemic. AbstractThis study aims to investigate the socioeconomic determinant factors that affect the growth of micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in North Wollo and Waghimira Zone selected towns. In this study, a cross-sectional research design with both descriptive and explanatory research design has been employed, and 303 owners of enterprises have participated. The towns were selected purposely, and the respondents were also selected by using a simple random sampling technique. The data were analyzed by using STATA v-14 and applied descriptive and binary logistic regression analysis (odds ratio). The finding of the study revealed that age of the owner, access to finance, family business background, and interest rate most likely affect the growth of the enterprises with the statistically significant level. On the contrary, entrepreneurship training, the experience of the owner, the inflation rate, and competition less likely affect the growth of the enterprises with a statistical significant level. The remaining factors such as gender of the owners, education background, business age, business type, business location, social responsibility, tax rate, and social attitude were not statistically significant to determine the growth of MSEs.
