Among all factors that compose the journalistic routine, time plays an important role. It delimitates the period to produce content. Transmedia projects often need a faster pace than usual articles, mostly because the reporters need to plan before they leave newsrooms to capture content and, depending on the media used, work on different platforms to deliver the whole content. This chapter discusses the process behind three transmedia journalistic cases: Black Hawk Down (published by Philadelphia Enquirer, in 1997), Inside Disaster (released by PTV, in 2010), and Harvest of Change (published by Des Moines Register, in 2014). Using the case study method, they will be discussed, analyzing the process behind their publication. This reflection highlights how the adoption of tools and usage of paths to connect or publicize content on different media increased the relevance not only of time to create but the effort dedicated to plan the transmedia strategy.

The goal of the present study is to demonstrate the media-aesthetic potential of infographic messages on particular cases. This can be done due to an integrated approach to the analysis of the visual content of media content. That indicates the case study method implementation as well as description and generalization. The theoretical basis of the research is represented by scientific studies of various directions. That includes the history of media and visual media culture; features of the concepts of media culture and media language, media aesthetics; infographics as a tool of media language. The empirical basis of the study is journalistic materials containing infographic content of such publications as by RIA Novosti (ria.ru), TASS (tass.ru). The examples of visual image implementation in the transmission of information — media content containing infographics — are given and analyzed. Considering media aesthetics as the formation of a sensory perception of the proposed media content, the author turns to the philosophical and aesthetic foundations of visual practices in the media and post-humanistic trends in journalism. As a result of the analysis of the theoretical and practical basis of the research, the author comes to the conclusion that today the role of the media aesthetic component of messages is most relevant. And infographics, as the connecting link of language and consciousness, is its most striking tool.

In 2015, Instagram users started to create secondary accounts dubbed finstagram (fake Instagram) to fulfill the unmet needs of using the main account. Among the needs is to do mediated voyeurism or stalking — the act of watching other’s lives through the means of the media — safely. Prior Instagram studies have been more focused on the self-disclosure discourse while analysis on the voyeurs as consumers of disclosure is lacking. Using the case study method, this paper records the exercise of mediated voyeurism through finstagram and the privacy management that occurs within. The result shows that the use of finstagram for mediated voyeurism is driven by the perceived privacy risk (perceived risk of possible privacy violations). The perceived privacy risk encourages voyeur to navigate privacy management by adopting protecting behavior, or various forms of action taken to protect the exercise of stalking.

Moreover, the Covid-19 pandemic condition since March 2020 in Indonesia has forced media businesses to suffer even more. However, on Saturday, July 4, 2020, Surabaya city has a new daily media published, namely “DI's Way Daily”. The figure behind it is Dahlan Iskan, a media figure known as the pioneer of Jawa Pos Daily. DI's Way brings several differentiating attributes to its product. With a simple case study method, this paper aims to examine the resilience of this daily from the perspective of hyperlocal content production strategy (hyperlocality) and entrepreneurial journalism.
