A logical step after CNC machining is inspection. With inspections, Closed-Loop Machining (CLM) can be realized to maximize the efficiency of a machining process by maintaining a tight control in a manufacturing system. CLM is normally regarded as the highest level of CNC automation. CLM however, requires a tight integration between CAD, CAPP, CAM, and CNC, in particular CAM and CNC and inspections. The questions that are to be answered are (a) what type of inspections is fit for CLM and (b) is there a good data model that one can use to bring machining and inspections together? This chapter tries to provide some possible solutions to these questions. Prior to this, a brief review of the past research work is given. Toward the end of the chapter, a conceptual framework for integrating machining with inspections is presented.

This conceptual paper explores the development of coaching, as an expression of applied positive psychology. It argues that coaching is a positive psychology dialogue which has probably existed since the emergence of sophisticated forms of language, but only in the past few 1000years, has evidence emerged of its use as a deliberate practice to enhance learning. In the past 50years, this dialectic tool has been professionalised, through the emergence of professional bodies, and the introduction of formal training and certification. In considering the development of the coaching industry, we have used Rostow’s model of sector development to reflect on future possible pathways and the changes in the coaching industry with the clothing sector, to understand possible futures. We have offered a five-stage model to conceptualise this pathway of development. Using this insight, we have further reviewed past research and predicted future pathways for coaching research, based on a new ten-phase model of coaching research.

As an advanced machining technology, virtual manufacturing has been regarded as an useful tool to carry out analysis and research work with digital model instead of practical manufacture. For the virtual manufacturing process, it is a mapping of the practical machining in computer virtual environment, no real production is created and without material or power wasting. Several typical definition of virtual manufacturing dominate in this fields were listed out, based on which expressed an explicit interpretation. Main features and three type of virtual manufacturing, such as design-centered, machine-centered and control centered virtual manufacturing were analysed respectively. The virtual manufacturing system, supported by cutter tool magazine, pallet storage, production database, material storage and NC storage, have been demonstrated in an architecture figure. Finally, the author concluded the important role of virtual manufacturing and illustrated an example of applying virtual manufacturing in five-axis machining process.

AbstractOn the basis of legal, environmental, social, and economic factors, reverse logistics and closed-loop supply chain issues have attracted attention among both academia and practitioners. A growing number of publications is an expression of reverse logistics trend in the literature which has been lasted for around 40 years. Hence, a comprehensive literature review of recent and state-of-the-art papers is vessential to draw a framework of the past, and to support researchers in their works by indicating journals or adequate references. The aim of this paper was to prepare appropriate literature review procedure and following it to review all papers whose main topis was reverse logistics. The papers were analyzed and categorized to construct a useful foundation of past research with respect to the scale of number of research on reverse logistics, considering stages of reverse logistics development, targeted journals, main research centres and leading countries. Moreover there were reccommended the most valuable papers as references.

The purpose of this study is to understand transformation drives using past research as the basis of argument on every variable with business performance as the measurement standard. The research using deep searching of journal databases, the output is conducting a conceptual framework. The transformation drivers in our conceptual framework have six factors namely organization, technology, consumer behavior, financial, external support, and network with the measure of success of that transformation drives using business performance. The result is that the past research supports all the purposes of points in the variable that can positively contribute to business performance.

This paper used the historical approach to overview the patterns and practices of religious pluralism in Thai context. The past research work on religious pluralism will be examined in order to find out what concepts and approaches have been used and how they could implement in reality. Most Thai people practice in Buddhism, and they do not have any conflicts with other Thai Muslims or Christian. They live peacefully and harmoniously in co-existence among different religious adherents. The case of Thai Buddhist and Thai Muslim live together happily in the Southern communities will be employed and discussed using social and cultural capital analytical approach. The factors and conditions concerning with religious pluralism are analyzed more in details. The applications of religious pluralism in the study to other Southeast Asian countries will also recommend.

This paper presents a state-of-the-art review of high precision finishing of gears by electrochemical honing (ECH) process. It is an electrochemical (EC)-based hybrid machining process combining the faster material removal capability of electrochemical machining (ECM) process and controlled functional surface–generating capability of conventional honing in a single action. The precision finishing of gears by ECH is a productive, high-accuracy, long toollife gear finishing process. The present study contains a detailed description of the process principle, influencing parameters, process capabilities, equipment details, applications, advantages and limitations, and comprehensive literature review of past research work on the ECH of gears along with some guidelines for further research with an objective to revive the interest of the global research community to mature this process further.

Urban planning is one of the prolific research fields nowadays. Lots of interesting research work has been done related to this field. Previous studies were only concerned with the contentment of residents and did not indicate any environmental factors. Consecutive researchers study the optimal city structures but in other different factors and views. The numerous urban planning models have been widely investigated for their application in many fields. However, most of the model is lacking the environmental characteristics especially related with water issues. Commonly, water issues associated with urban areas are runoffs, landslides, soil settles, water security to name a few. These problems normally are due to the disturbance of water absorption processes in the affected area. This paper intends to provide a bigger picture used as preliminary for further studies in the problems related with urban planning and water security. This paper investigates past research and highlights the significance similarity and gaps for further research. The past models on urban planning and the impact of urban development to water issues will be reviewed and the significance of these problems will be discussed. The investigation in this direction highlights the importance of water issues in developing urban area.

Centrifugal Cast tubes have been produced with ZA 8, ZA 12 and ZA 27 alloys with different rotational speeds of the mould (Viz. 400, 600 and 800 rpm). From the past research work, it was understood that cast tubes for ZA 8 and ZA 12 alloys with good mechanical properties were produced, with the mould rotation at 600 rpm. This observation was explained without the addition of refiners. In the present work, a uniform cylinder with good mechanical properties was produced with ZA8 alloy at 400 rpm only. This was due to the influence of refiner 1% Al-Ti-B2 along with low aluminium content and lower rotational speed of the mould. With higher rotational speeds of the mould, increase in the composition of aluminium and refiner reduce solidification rate of the melt forming irregular shaped cast tube with ZA12 and ZA 27 alloys.

As the globalization, are expanding individuals twist towards the cutting-edge life Stress issue turns into a significant issue among in experts and understudies life. The term pressure is causing different mental issue face to face. Understudies of various courses and distinctive expert college are expanding ambushed with this pressure. The points of this examination are to research natural, social, mental and scholarly postgraduate and doctoral understudies. The quantity of tests of this investigation are 220 undergrad and postgraduate understudies. The information of my examination was gathered independent from anyone else – planned poll and by PSS Scale and the overview has organized inquiries which were gathered through google dox. There are many pressure expectation calculations has been proposed like SVM, KNN, RANDOM FOREST, NAVIE BAYES, LOGISTIC REGRESSION, DECISION TREE. Different machine learning methods are utilized that related in this field. Too, it talks about the application territories and difficulties for stress forecast with knowledge into the past research work.
