This article describes the function of lightweight visualization tool--Product View. It introduces the application process of lightweight visualization tool--Product View in aircraft development from lightweight model assembly, lightweight model simulation, visual collaboration, collaboration between R & D, and human factor analysis, etc. Product View is a better collaborative communication tool between process design and design, design and technology in the aircraft development.There are not only high demands on the design and assembly, but also a lot of cooperative work between different equipments, equipments and staff, different staff in aircraft development[1]. In order to more efficiently share and use the digital product content created in this process, the demands on high-performance lightweight visualization tool become more and more strongly. Compatibility[2] and interactivity[3] are the two most important indicators when choosing a lightweight visualization tool. Variety of different tools may be used to create digital products during the design process, the compatibility between lightweight visualization tools and digital tools helps to enhance the user’s experience. The interactivity of lightweight visualization tools is also indispensable, it can timely discover the problems of geometric dimensions, tolerance annotations, elements conflict, and interference, give a comprehensive evaluation of the design, and then provide an effective medium between engineering, manufacturing and other downstream participants.

Background: Phospholipids are widely used in food and pharmaceutical industry as functional excipients. In spite of the many analytical methods reported, there are very limited reports concerning systematic research and comparison of phospholipid excipients. Objective: To present a comprehensive evaluation of commercial natural phospholipid excipients (CNPEs). Methods: Seventeen batches of CNPEs from five manufacturing enterprises, isolated either from soybean or egg yolk, were investigated. The content and composition of phospholipids, fatty acids and sterols as a whole were considered as the evaluative index of CNPEs. Eight kinds of phospholipids were determined by supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC), twenty-one kinds of fatty acids were determined by gas chromatography (GC) after boron trifluoride-methanol derivatization, and nine kinds of sterols were determined by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) after separation and derivatization of the unsaponifiable matter. Cluster analysis was employed for classification and identification of the CNPEs. Results: The results showed that each kind of CNPEs had its characteristic content and composition of phospholipids, fatty acids and sterols. Seventeen batches of samples were divided into eight groups in cluster analysis. CNPEs of the same type from different source (soybean or egg yolk) or enterprises presented different content and composition of phospholipids, fatty acids and sterols. Conclusion: Each type of CNPEs had its characteristic content and composition of phospholipid, fatty acid and sterol. The compositions of phospholipid, fatty acid and sterol as a whole can be applied as an indicator of the quality and characteristics for CNPEs.

AbstractProper treatment of prostate cancer is essential to increase the survival chance. In this sense, numerous studies show how important the communication between all stakeholders in the clinic is. This communication is difficult because of the lack of conventions while referring to the location where a biopsy for diagnosis was taken. This becomes even more challenging taking into account that experts of different fields work on the data and have different requirements. In this paper a web-based communication tool is proposed that incorporates a visualization of the prostate divided into 27 segments according to the PI-RADS protocol. The tool provides 2 working modes that consider the requirements of radiologist and pathologist while keeping it consistent. The tool comprises all relevant information given by pathologists and radiologists, such as, severity grades of the disease or tumor length. Everything is visualized using a colour code for better undestanding.

Persistent memory (PM) is increasingly being leveraged to build hash-based indexing structures featuring cheap persistence, high performance, and instant recovery, especially with the recent release of Intel Optane DC Persistent Memory Modules. However, most of them are evaluated on DRAM-based emulators with unreal assumptions, or focus on the evaluation of specific metrics with important properties sidestepped. Thus, it is essential to understand how well the proposed hash indexes perform on real PM and how they differentiate from each other if a wider range of performance metrics are considered. To this end, this paper provides a comprehensive evaluation of persistent hash tables. In particular, we focus on the evaluation of six state-of-the-art hash tables including Level hashing, CCEH, Dash, PCLHT, Clevel, and SOFT, with real PM hardware. Our evaluation was conducted using a unified benchmarking framework and representative workloads. Besides characterizing common performance properties, we also explore how hardware configurations (such as PM bandwidth, CPU instructions, and NUMA) affect the performance of PM-based hash tables. With our in-depth analysis, we identify design trade-offs and good paradigms in prior arts, and suggest desirable optimizations and directions for the future development of PM-based hash tables.

Abstract The KiMoSys (https://kimosys.org), launched in 2014, is a public repository of published experimental data, which contains concentration data of metabolites, protein abundances and flux data. It offers a web-based interface and upload facility to share data, making it accessible in structured formats, while also integrating associated kinetic models related to the data. In addition, it also supplies tools to simplify the construction process of ODE (Ordinary Differential Equations)-based models of metabolic networks. In this release, we present an update of KiMoSys with new data and several new features, including (i) an improved web interface, (ii) a new multi-filter mechanism, (iii) introduction of data visualization tools, (iv) the addition of downloadable data in machine-readable formats, (v) an improved data submission tool, (vi) the integration of a kinetic model simulation environment and (vii) the introduction of a unique persistent identifier system. In this chapter, the authors present the project “WITE 2.0.” This project is at the crossroads of various issues related to mobility (Urry, 2007) and use of Information and Communication Technologies. WITE 2.0 is a part of the designing process of a collaborative communication tool: “a virtualized and unified platform.” The authors define scenarios of teleworking practices, “equipped” by ICTs, and use these scenarios to better specify the platform. The project started at the end of 2010 and continued for a period of 18 months. The analysis is based on several complementary methodologies: a qualitative study (47 semi-structured interviews) and an experimentation of the platform. They present the main results of the interview survey through the following themes: remote management, skills, articulation of private and professional spheres, and the maturity of technologies. The authors also describe how these elements help the understanding of the evolution of workers’ practices.

IPD technology was originally developed as a way to replace bulky discrete passive components, but it¡¯s now gaining popularity in ESD/EMI protection applications, as well as in RF, high-brightness LED silicon sub-mounts, and digital and mixed-signal devices. Already well known as a key enabler of system-in-packages (SiPs), IPDs enable the assembly of increasingly complete and autonomous systems with the integration of diverse electronic functions such as sensors, RF transceivers, MEMS, power amplifiers, power management units, and digital processors. The application area for IPD will continue to evolve, especially as new packaging technology, such as flipchip, 3D stacking, wafer level packaging become available to provide vertical interconnections within the IPD. New applications like silicon interposers will become increasingly significant to the market. Currently the IPD market is being driven primarily by RF or wireless packages and applications including, but not limited to, cell phones, WiFi, GPS, WiMAX, and WiBro. In particular, applications and products in the emerging RF CMOS market that require a low cost, smaller size, and high performance are driving demand. In order to get right products in size and performance, packaging design and technology should be considered in device integration and implemented together in IPD designs. In addition, a comprehensive understanding of electrical and mechanical properties in component and system level design is important. This paper will highlight some of the recent advancements in SiP technology for IPD and integration as well as what is developed to address future technology requirements in IPD SiP solutions. The advantage and applications of SiP solution for IPD will be presented with several examples of IPD products. The design, assembly and packaging challenges and performance characteristics will be also discussed.

This article reviews the fundamental principles and basic skills of MI. It discusses how MI has evolved from a therapeutic modality to a conversational style, applicable in the school setting and specifically for school nurses. The article provides an overview of how MI can be used by school nurses, challenges they may face, and resources to support implementation.

The purpose of this work is to establish a new method using high-performance liquid chromatography-diode array detection (HPLC-DAD) with chemometrics analysis to determine the content of catechin, isoquercetin, astragalin, phloridzin, trilobatin, and phloretin for one flavanol and five flavonoids, filter out the key compounds, and evaluate the quality of 26 batches of tender leaves and flower spikes of Lithocarpus polystachyus Rehd. (LP) from ten areas in China. The result showed that the HPLC-DAD method had excellent performance for accurate quantification analysis. S3 (tender leaf from Lushan, Sichuan) had the highest contents for six measured chemicals with trilobatin content of up to 27.82% in dry weight. S22 (flower spike from Liangping, Chongqing) had the highest content of phloridzin (up to 7.28%). All samples were divided into three types based on spatial distribution using principal component analysis. The result showed that the tender leaves and flower spikes from the same areas had many similar properties, and there were significant differences between the samples from different regions. Furthermore, phloridzin and trilobatin were identified as chemical markers for quality evaluation of two parts with different tender leaves and flower spikes of LP from geographical areas by orthogonal partial least squares discrimination analysis. These results will be helpful to establish an effective and comprehensive evaluation system of the development and utilization of LP resources.
