Cationic polymethyl acrylate emulsion which was prepared with no soap emulsion polymerization was used in bleached wheat straw pulp as papermaking retention agent. The main influence factors on retention effect, such as dosage of polymethyl acrylate emulsion, pH value of the bleached wheat straw pulp, reaction time after adding the polymethyl acrylate emulsion and stir velocity were discussed in detail. Experimental results showed that optimal application conditions were that first step was adding cationic emulsion which dosage was 0.64% relative to dry fiber, stir velocity was 1400r/min, 90s for reaction, second step was adding anion components which dosage was 0.16% relative to dry fiber, stir velocity was 750r/min, 60s for reaction, pH value was 4.5~5.0. The cationic organic particles system has good retention aid effect which one pass retention was 96.4%.

The paper has studied the process of using H2O2 as oxidant and tungsten acid as catalyst, catalytic oxidation synthesis process of cyclopentene to glutaraldehyde and explored the main influence factors of the reaction, including the reaction time, reaction temperature, catalyst dosage and solvent. Furthermore, the quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis of the product was characterized by gas chromatography. The optimum synthetic condition was as follows: tertiary butanol as solvent, tungsten acid: boron anhydride(mass ratio)=1:1, 30%H2O2 as oxidant, the reaction temperature 35°C, the reaction time 4h, the yield of glutaraldehyde yield was 46%.

Abstract In this investigation, softwood pulp and bleached wheat straw pulp were used as raw materials, and Calcium Sulfate Whiskers (CSW) were used as fillers. Based on the structural properties and characteristics of CSW, the printing properties of the paper with CSW, such as whiteness, opacity, pH value, uniformity, Z-direction tensile strength and surface strength, were analyzed. The results showed that CSW has low solubility, high retention rate and fiber-like appearance. The whiteness of the paper is the best when the filling amount of CSW is 20%. The paper opacity of softwood pulp increases significantly, and the opacity of bleached wheat straw pulp decreases significantly when CSW is more than 30%. The addition reduces pH and surface strength of the paper. The evenness of the paper does not change obviously. The Z-direction tensile strength of the paper decreases in the softwood paper, but increases obviously in the bleached wheat straw paper. Graphic abstract

The cationic polymethyl acrylate (CPMA) emulsion which was prepared with no soap emulsion polymerization was used with petroleum resin sizing agent in bleached wheat straw pulp and wood pulp as papermaking sizing agent. It was showed that by the experimental results that when the dosage of composite sizing agent composed of CPMA emulsion and anionic petroleum resin sizing agent was 0.2% absolute dry pulp, sizing degree and white degree of handsheet made of bleached wheat straw pulp were improved 33% and 5.2%ISO respectively. It was also showed that when the dosage of composite sizing agent was 0.2% absolute dry pulp, sizing degree and white degree of handsheet made of wood pulp were improved 37% and 4.2%ISO respectively.

In order to study the influence factors of complex three-dimensional electrode polarity to treat phenol wastewater .Set the mixed phenol wastewater as the research object, by the test of static, adopt complex three-ensional electrode polarity to phenol wastewater. When the wastewater is 10 L,quality concentration is 300 mg/L, the pH value is 3.0, the reaction time is 90 min, electrolytic voltage is 15V, plate spacing is 10 cm, Na2SO4 electrolyte additive concentration is 1 g/L, Fe2+ additive concentration is 0.6 mmol/L, aeration intensity is 0.2 m3/h, removal rate of phenol and COD reached 80.99% and 80.99% respectively . The experiments results show that the pH value, reaction time, electrolytic voltage, plate spacing and aeration intensity has a significant effects on phenol wastewater through complex three-dimensional electrode polarity treatment.

Quaternary ammonium salt of chitosan (HACC) was synthesized by the reaction of chitosan(CTS) and 2, 3-epoxypropyltrimethyl- ammonium chloride(GTA) in isopropanol. The influence factors of the degree of substitution of synthetic reaction, such as the molar ratio of reactants, the reaction time, temperature and so on were discussed by single factor experiments.The results showed that the optimal conditions for the preparation were nGTA: nCTS=4:1, the reaction time 8h, the reaction temperature 75°C, the reaction pH value 7, the alkalization time 14h, the molecular weight of chitosan 320000g/mol, the moisture of reaction system 20%. The structures of HACC and CTS were characterized by infrared spectrum, the appearances of morphology of HACC and CTS were researched by scanning electron microscopy, the thermal stabilities of HACC and CTS were studied by thermogravimetry. The results showed that the substitution reaction mainly occurs on the N element, modified derivatives had significant changes in appearance and size, and lower thermal stability.

In this article, the main influence factors of ganoderma lucidum spore powder hydrolysis in pure water under microwave irradiation were studied by using the method of orthogonal experiment. Weight ratio of ganoderma lucidum spore powder to water, reaction time, microwave power and temperature was considered as the influence factors in detail. It was concluded that the temperature was the main factor in hydrolytic process. The order of the influence factors: temperature > weight ratio of ganoderma lucidum spore powder to water > microwave power > reaction time. And the optimal reaction condition was as the temperature 150 °C, weight ratio of ganoderma lucidum spore powder to water 1:40, microwave power 100 W and reaction time 105 min.

The mechanical behavior of electrode composite during the drying preparation has played a crucial role in the electrochemical performance of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). Our work aimed at developing an integrated analysis method to study the component distribution, mechanical properties, and internal stress of composite coating in the process of electrode drying. The main influence factors of drying stress were thoroughly investigated. It was found that this present model could capture not only the heterogeneity effect of inactive ingredients but also the porosity-dependent viscoelasticity of electrode composite. Meanwhile, the calculated effective modulus and stress evolution upon drying time were in acceptable accord with the experimental data. Furthermore, the rapid solidification markedly increased the drying stress in electrodes and significantly impaired the tensile strength of electrode composite due to the highly gradient distributed constituents. However, the stress level at high drying temperature could be significantly reduced by an aqueous sodium alginate binder instead of poly(vinylidene fluoride). The obtained results will be a great help in efficiently manufacturing LIB electrodes with adequate mechanical integrity.

Salicylic hydroxamic acid is a novel flotation reagent used in mineral processing. However, it impacts the flotation wastewater leaving behind high chromaticity which limits its reuse and affects discharge for mining enterprises. This study researched ozonation catalyzed by the granular activated carbon (GAC) method to treat the chromaticity of the simulated mineral processing wastewater with salicylic hydroxamic acid. The effects of pH value, ozone (O3) concentration, GAC dosage, and reaction time on chromaticity and chemical oxygen demand (CODCr) removal were discussed. The results of individual ozonation experiments showed that the chromaticity removal ratio reached 79% and the effluent chromaticity exceeded the requirement of reuse and discharge when the optimal experimental conditions were pH value 3, ozone concentration 6 mg/L, and reaction time 40 min. The orthogonal experimental results of catalytic ozonation with GAC on chromaticity removal explained that the chromaticity removal ratio could reach 96.36% and the chromaticity of effluent was only 20 when the optimal level of experimental parameters was pH value 2.87, O3 concentration 6 mg/L, GAC dosage 0.06 g/L, reaction time 60 min respectively. The degradation pathway of salicylic hydroxamic acid by ozonation was also considered based on an analysis with ultraviolet absorption spectrum and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).

In this paper, the effect of microwave treatment on the hydrogen peroxide bleaching of Soda-AQ wheat-straw pulp was investigated. The results showed that microwave treatment could increase the brightness of the hydrogen peroxide bleached pulp. The fiber coarseness of microwave enhancing peroxide bleached pulp was higher than that of the peroxide bleached pulp. However, the arithmetic average fiber length, the length weighted average fiber length and weight weighted average fiber length of the former was lower than that of the latter. Fourier transform infra-red spectroscopy (FTIR) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectra showed that CrI(%) crystallinity of microwave enhancing peroxide bleached pulp was similar as that of the peroxide bleached pulp but all higher than that of the Soda-AQ wheat-straw pulp. N·O′KI infra-red crystalline index of microwave enhancing peroxide bleached pulp were lower than that of the peroxide bleached pulp. The FTIR spectra of lignin showed that the microwave treatment had some influences on the methoxyl and phenolic group in lignin.
