On-line detection system of the harvester is an outcome from combination of modern computer technology and communication technology in harvester operations applications. With the help of the various sensors, the harvest yield, running routes, and threshing wheel speed, etc. are measured. These information and parameter are indicator of the harvesters working status. They are detected, processed, packed, and transmitted to the computer server in monitoring center via a wireless network. On the monitoring center server, the transmitted data is processed further, fault data are inspected, reliability data is calculated. Meanwhile, the harvester is controlled according to accepted data.

The article addresses one of the most pressing problems for a trading enterprise, namely the problem of routing logistics flows for efficient enterprise management. To optimize itineraries, we use state-of-the-art electronic navigation and mapping systems that can be implemented in modern computer technology, from online services available on any computer to mobile devices. Navigation and mapping systems are distributed software complexes with an array of information stored in database management systems. They involve millions of static objects and huge amounts of dynamic data around the world. To optimize the logistics flows, an algorithm for an automated routing system is described. This system solves the problems of automatic calculation of the construction and recognition of the optimal route between the specified points of its beginning and the end, tracking of movement on a given route and, in the case of congested roads, redirection of logistics flows. Based on the researches and experiments on the formation of a cognitive map in the human mind and the perception of the route description, an algorithm for storing and displaying route data is considered. This algorithm takes into account the personal psychology of perception of cartographic information. Developing an algorithm for describing the routing of trading enterprise traffic flows is creating a model of automatically found path between the predetermined points of its beginning and end. This mapping information is personalized, easy to read, fast to remember, and insensitive to user errors. The proposed algorithm is universal and can be used to solve a wide range of problems of logistic flows optimization.

The development of modern computer technology and changes in federal legislation introduced in recent years, have caused the authors to identify the main trends in the development of criminal liability for crimes against the security of computer information: four areas that encourage the need to increase criminal liability for acts committed with computer technology. The paper also gives a historical overview devoted to the development of computer technologies and a general description of crimes in the field of computer information, taking into account changes introduced into criminal legislation by Federal Law No. 194-FZ dated July 26, 2017.

ABSTRACTThis article reviews the growing usage of time-budget methodology, until recently seldom applied to older people. Initial studies have demonstrated that it can be employed both for the young-old and the old-old. Wider utilisation seems to have been impeded by difficulty in operationalising the definitions of such key concepts as ‘time’ and ‘leisure’, ‘discretionary’ and ‘obligatory’ activities. Advances in modern computer technology have facilitated the handling of masses of data of the kind produced by studies such as the 12-nation project led by Szalai (N = 30,000). A recent study of four Philadelphia subgroups by Lawton and Moss (N = 535) was successful in introducing a qualitative dimension of ‘liking’, which opens the door to utilising this approach for arriving at more sophisticated measures of psychological wellbeing.

This article discusses how visual arts and computer technology could complement and assist each other in new and emerging interdisciplinary areas known as computational aesthetics and aesthetic computing. The authors present examples of computational aesthetics that demonstrate that modern computer technology can generate aesthetic forms of visual art. Several levels of complexity in computerized abstract paintings are discussed and explored. The authors recently experimented with encoding computational rules to automatically generate a particular style of abstract painting in an attempt to explore one of the levels. The preliminary results of this research are presented. A more systematic and grammar-based approach is discussed as a potential future direction of work.
