This study, it was aimed to reveal the views of parents and teachers about the usage of social media tools in school-family communication. In this study, which was carried out with the phenomenological method, which is one of the qualitative research methods, the data were collected using a semi-structured interview form. As a result of the content analysis conducted on the data obtained, it was concluded that social media tools, especially WhatsApp, are widely used in school-family communication. It has been found that the advantages of these tools are free, fast, and easy to use, and they prevent waste of time and workload by sending mass messages. The disadvantages were determined to be used out of purpose and timeless, causing misunderstanding and violation of privacy. Participants suggested that while using these tools, they should not deviate from their purpose, some restrictions in terms of time and content should be introduced and their use should be expanded. The results obtained are expected to contribute significantly to the studies to be done to increase family participation in education and the practices to be developed in this sense.

The aim of this study is to determine how cinema movies contribute to students’ learning of human rights and democracy in the 2017-2018 Academic Year Fall Semester. The research was modelled according to the pattern of action research from qualitative research methods. Research was conducted for 13 weeks in a public university in Turkey. In the Human Rights and Democracy course, 13 movies about human rights were watched, interpreted and evaluated. Structured interview form was applied to 13 students. Data was analyzed by content analysis. The findings revealed that in general movies can be useful in teaching human rights and democracy issues. In this way, it has been found that both cognitive and affective subjects can be learned permanently. It has been concluded that movies can be used effectively in value teaching and movies based on real events should be used.

The development of information technology in social media (especially Instagram) became very important in supporting the 4.0 industrial revolution. The purpose of this study was to determine the interest of Instagram users in developing writing through 31 days of writing from their @rebellion_id account. The method of research is descriptive qualitative research methods and and the conceptual basis used is the content analysis approach. The results of the study indicate that interest in writing through the challenges of 31 days of writing through Instagram is quite a lot. This is supported by responses from Instagram users who were very enthusiastic about the challenge. Posts are presented in interesting forms, and in their posts use words from KBBI that are rarely used for writing. The challenge of 31 days of writing was able to develop interest in writing for followers who followed the challenge.

The Covid 19 pandemic has had a major impact on Indonesia's tourism sector, including Hulu Sungai Selatan (HSS) Regency in South Kalimantan Province. HSS Regency has a potential tourist attraction that is a mainstay of South Kalimantan, namely the Bamboo Rafting Loksado tour. After having stopped operating due to the pandemic for 8 months, this tour was reopened by making changes to its operational system. This study aims to describe the tourism promotion strategy carried out by DISPORAPAR HSS in maintaining Bamboo Rafting tourism objects during the pandemic using descriptive qualitative research methods. DISPORAPAR HSS, which houses this tourist attraction, has compiled strategic steps to promote safe tourism for visitors by socializing the implementation of national health protocol standards and health protocol standards based on the Indonesian Rafting Federation using educational videos on new normal tours, inviting local people to participate in supporting new normal tourism, using social media facilities as an effective and efficient means of promotion, and continuing to carry out evaluation stages to realize Bamboo Rafting tourism objects to attract visitors again.

The aim of the study is to determine experiences of children attending a preschool class and their teacher about class rules, desirable and undesirable behaviors and strategies followed by the teacher concerning these behaviors. The study is a case study, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The participants were 14 children attending a class for 5 year-olds in an independent kindergarten and the teacher of the class. Semi-structured interview technique was used in the study. In addition, in two of the questions in the interview, the students were asked to draw pictures to help them describe their experiences in more detail. The data in the study were analyzed by content analysis, categorized by coding, and themes and sub-themes were obtained. As a result of the research, it was found that the opinions of the children and their teachers about class rules and undesirable behaviors were in parallel with each other. The study revealed that the experiences of children and the teacher overlap in terms of behaviors and strategies followed by the teacher in response to desirable behaviors. However, it was found that the experiences of children and their teacher differ with regards to the way class rules are determined, and behaviors and strategies followed by the teacher concerning undesirable behaviors.

<p><em>This paper examines the forms of </em>Arabic <em>meme</em> based on lingual and visual aspect and meaning of rage face in social media <em>Instagram</em><em>Shuwarun Mudhchikatun</em><em>. The data used in this paper are taken from </em>social media <em>Instagram</em><em>Shuwarun Mudhchikatun</em><em> </em>in the period June - July 2015. This research applied qualitative research methods which divided into three steps. First, collecting data through observation method with uninvolved conversation observation technique and noting technique. Second, analyzing data by distribution method with direct segmenting constituents technique and taxonomy technique. Third, presenting data by informal technique. This research concludes that the forms of Arabic <em>meme</em> in social media <em>Instagram</em><em>Shuwarun Mudhchikatun</em>based is divided to lingual and visual aspect. The lingual aspect consists of word, phrase, clause, and sentence. In addition, form of combination grammatical units such as word and phrase, phrase and word, phrase and clause, and phrase and sentence. Form of Arabic <em>meme</em> based on the visual aspect found consist of icon, icon and index, icon and symbol, and icon, index, and symbol. As for the meaning of rage face in social media <em>Instagram</em><em>Shuwarun Mudhchikatun</em>consistof five meaning. They arejoy, sadness, anger, surprise and neutral.</p>

The core of corporate governance is composed of values such as transparency, accountability, fairness and responsibility. The principles of corporate governance and ethical approach are built on these core values. Consequently, there is a need for guidelines on how managers and other employees should behave ethically on certain issues. In this context, the aim of the study is to identify the concepts emphasized in the ethical declarations of companies and to reveal the focus themes, differences and similarities of the sectors and companies included in the Corporate Governance Index in Turkey. Content analysis method, one of the qualitative research methods, was performed in the study. The reason for the selection of companies included in the BIST Corporate Governance Index as a sample is because of the fact that the companies within this index have certain standards in terms of corporate governance and ethical principles and they are accepted as cynosure for other companies. As a result of this research, the themes that the company and sector groups intensified were determined and significant differences have been identified among companies and sectors.

<p>This study aims to see how Islamic communication ethics is in an effort to ward off hoax news on Facebook that hit students of the PMII. The reason is, the existence of hoax reporting on Facebook contradicts the vision of the PMII organization which is committed to being a forum for strengthening aqidah, morals, and creating a society like the Ummah. The research used qualitative research methods through in-depth interview approaches and observations of active students in the PMII organization uses a sampling technique based on purposive sampling technique. The results showed that students instilled communication ethics according to Islamic law in using Facebook social media, so steps need to be taken to communicate in accordance with Islamic teachings to avoid the rampant hoax news on Facebook to promote morals according to Islamic law refer to the example of the Prophet, p.b.u.h. That it is important for PMII student organizations to promote morals in accordance with Islamic law, and also apply communication ethics in accordance with Islamic law by promoting the principles of Islamic communication, namely: qawlan sadidan, qawlan balighan, qawlan maysura, qawlan layyina, qawlan karima, qawlan ma'rufa. So it is necessary to understand and apply Islamic communication ethics by students of the PMII organization so that it becomes the basis for accessing Facebook.</p>

This research discusses the meaning of content on social media, especially in the Bigo Live application. This social media still has some negative content so it attracts a lot of attention. Researchers chose Bigo Live because this application has a strong interaction with its users. The purpose of this study is to describe the meaning of the audience of the content in Bigo Live. The theory used in this research is reception analysis theory with qualitative research methods. Analysis of the Reception Study uses the criteria of media text readers namely Dominant Reader (dominant hegemonic position), Negotiated Reader (negotiated code / position), and Opposition Reader (operational code / position). Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of the meaning of audiences on content in Bigo Live social media, the audience belongs to the negotiated position category. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pemaknaan konten di media sosial khususnya di aplikasi Bigo Live. Media sosial ini masih memiliki beberapa konten negatif sehingga menarik banyak perhatian. Peneliti memilih Bigo Live karena aplikasi ini memiliki interaksi yang kuat dengan penggunanya. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pemaknaan khalayak terhadap konten yang ada di dalam Bigo Live. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori analisis resepsi dengan metode penelitian kualitatif. Analisis Studi Resepsi menggunakan kriteria pembaca teks media yaitu Pembaca Dominan (dominant hegemonic position), Pembaca Negosiasi (negotiated code/position),dan Pembaca Oposisi (operational code/position). Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan pemaknaan khalayak terhadap konten dalam media sosial Bigo Live, khalayak tergolong kategori negosiasi (negotiated position).

Abstract Introduction: The purpose of this study is to determine the metaphorical perceptions of preschool teachers in regard with the concept of inclusive education. Methods: In this study, phenomenology design, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The study group of this research consists of preschool teachers, who have students either received or currently receiving inclusive education in their classrooms. In the research, the content analysis was conducted in order to analyze the data obtained from preschool teachers. Results: Of the 113 preschool teachers participated in the study, the answers given by 101 teachers to the research question were included in the evaluation. At the end of the evaluation phase, it was determined that preschool teachers developed a total of 53 different metaphors in regard with the concept of inclusive education and 53 valid metaphors developed by preschool teachers were analyzed by gathering them under 9 different categories according to their common characteristics. Discussion: In accordance with the data obtained from the research, the distribution of metaphors developed by preschool teachers regarding the concept of “inclusive education” by categories is observed as follows: inclusive education as the riches of nature, inclusive education depending on the soil and inclusive education as work and living areas. However, the metaphor of the “rainbow” draws attention as the most developed metaphor for inclusive education in all categories by the participants. Limitations: Due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic, data were collected from participants using an online interview form. Conclusion: The study also concluded that the perceptions of the participants towards inclusive education were generally positive.

In recent years, the concept of museum has attracted attention in teaching of social studies which is an interdisciplinary course that attaches importance to in-school and out-of-school processes. Metaphor is to express perceptions on a particular subject figuratively. In this research, it is aimed to reveal perceptions of social studies teacher candidates about museum concept through metaphors. For this purpose, 128 social studies teacher candidates are consulted. The research has been done by phenomenology method which is one of the qualitative research methods and the data is analyzed by content analysis. In this respect, research is a descriptive study. As a result of research, the result is obtained that teacher candidates have developed 36 valid metaphors. While teacher candidates are building metaphors for the museum; they have used mostly book, journey to history, history and life simulations.
