Our project mainly focuses on providing a better method and a model to help the government or any local authorities at managing their waste disposal management . In this model we use an ultrasonic sensor with the use of an aurdino board to measure the level of garbage waste in trash cans . The sensor measures the distance from the top and determines the capacity to which the bin has been filled , then we use a software twillio to send a SMS to the respective authorities . It therefore provides a real-time indication of the quantity of garbage . Therefore all the components of the system work in an intelligent and a coherent manner so that waste is collected on time and we can keep our surroundings clean.

The use of automation in the control system as a means of efficiency of work has been commonly used and is a mechanism that runs automatically using a continuous media controller as instructed. At SMAN 14 Kab. Tangerang in order to improve the adiwiyata program must have a clean and well-run environment, but in the case of a garbage disposal system there are still shortcomings, namely the absence of information to school cleaners when the trash can is full so that the waste piles up, still using conventional methods of waste removal to the shelter. As well as a lack of information to the garbage truck officers who come so that the garbage piles up. With this research, an automatic waste disposal system was created which was intended as a tool to help work and provide hygiene information. The tool to be made consists of ultrasonic sensors and Wemos D1. Where the Ultrasonic sensor will provide volume information on the trash to Wemos D1 that is connected to Adafruit, if it is full Wemos D1 the shelter will retrieve data using the MQTT method. Next will take action to deliver the shelter to a full trash can through a linear actuator for disposal. By making this research can produce a tool with a control system automatically that helps human work as well as notifications regarding the capacity of the shelter and trash

Now a days, waste management is becoming a big issue. Due to improper waste disposal and management, society is facing environmental contamination problems which affects directly on human beings. Garbage separation is also a difficult task for the workers. People are not aware of these problems and do not dispose the garbage at proper places which leads to garbage accumulation at public places. So, to encourage people for proper garbage disposal this paper deals with the concept which will provide platform to dispose of waste in a more scientific and user-friendly. In return they will be rewarded in a cashless manner through means of digital payments and free coupons etc. The nature(wet or dry) and weight of garbage disposed in the machine will be sensed for segregating it in two section. The user will be rewarded according to the weight of garbage. Flow of the operations will be programmed in Arduino Uno micro-controller, sensors and GSM technology. This system leads to collection and segregation of waste at one place, for effective recycling and to reduce environmental. Also this will helps us to contribute in Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan scheme launched by the government of India.

TransJakarta Bus Lane is a special lane that is only passed by TransJakarta bus and is not allowed for other riders entering and passing the lane. But by reason of avoiding congestion, some riders break through the Transjakarta bus lane. This has distrubed Transjakarta bus travel schedule. Several attempts have been made by the government to prevent riders from entering TransJakarta route by installing 50 cm separator in several corridors, making Moveable concrete barriere and since Monday, 25 Noveber 2013 has been applied a maximum fine of Rp 500,000 for both the two- and four-wheeled vehicles or more, entering into a special line of TransJakarta bus or busway lane refers to article 287, Law No. 22 of 2009. The purpose of this study is to monitor in real time the rider who commits a violation or breaks through TransJakarta bus lane. The monitoring system is built in the form of hardware model consisting of Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04, webcamera, and software in the form of website applications. Data processing vehicle license plate number using tesseract ocr library on raspberry. When the hardware model is turned on the ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 detects the distance of the vehicle object, at a distance of ≤ 10 cm webcamera shoots the vehicle license plate model. Images taken by webcamera processed by raspberry using tesseract ocr library through threshold process so it can be read. The results is displayed on the website application so that it can known the identity of the violator.

The provision of open spaces within a residential development is often seen as unimportant. The Malaysian Government targeted to provide 2 hectares of open space per 1000 population to be achieved as a developed nation status by the year 2020. This vision can be seen as the Government attempt to ensure the sustainability of open spaces in Malaysia. The Federal Department of Town and Country Planning, Peninsular Malaysia (FDTCP) has produced a planning standard guideline to supervise the implementation of the open space policy in Malaysia. According to FDTCP; until December 2009, Malaysia has achieved a percentage of 1.19 hectares of open space per 1000 population. Achieving the standard requires commitment of local authorities to implement the open space policy. However, the adoption of open spaces policy differs among local authorities, from a simplistic general approach of land ratio techniques to an ergonomics method. The paper examines the local allocation practices using 5 different approaches and it argues that implementation of open space by local planning practices requires the knowledge of and understanding by planning profession towards a long term sustainable green objectives.

Natural gas has been forecast to continue grow up to 30% for the next 40 years and will remain as a key energy source. Alongside this projected growth, both the government and the industry have committed to reduce emission reductions. A critical focus is fugitive emissions, which are related to leaks or unintended losses of methane from sources such as hydrocarbon production, processing, transport, storage, transmission and distribution. The need for measuring and monitoring these emissions has been recognised in significant environmental inquiries related to the gas industry, such as the Northern Territory Fracking Inquiry (Pepper et al. 2018) and required in section D of the NT Code of Practice. This study describes an autonomous emission monitoring station developed to address the challenge of characterising temporally varying fugitive methane emissions. It has been designed specifically to tolerate the Australian outback’s extreme climateswhile providing laboratory-grade measurements in real-time at locations where there will be no access to grid power and standard telecommunications. Preliminary results demonstrating the continuous real-time measurements of methane and ethane concentrations of temporally varying phenomena will be presented. Specifically, the detection of methane and ethane concentrations and temporal changes related to bushfire progress will be shown.

Recently, an emerging application field through Twitter messages and algorithmic computation to detect real-time world events has become a new paradigm in the field of data science applications. During a high-impact event, people may want to know the latest information about the development of the event because they want to better understand the situation and possible trends of the event for making decisions. However, often in emergencies, the government or enterprises are usually unable to notify people in time for early warning and avoiding risks. A sensible solution is to integrate real-time event monitoring and intelligence gathering functions into their decision support system. Such a system can provide real-time event summaries, which are updated whenever important new events are detected. Therefore, in this work, we combine a developed Twitter-based real-time event detection algorithm with pre-trained language models for summarizing emergent events. We used an online text-stream clustering algorithm and self-adaptive method developed to gather the Twitter data for detection of emerging events. Subsequently we used the Xsum data set with a pre-trained language model, namely T5 model, to train the summarization model. The Rouge metrics were used to compare the summary performance of various models. Subsequently, we started to use the trained model to summarize the incoming Twitter data set for experimentation. In particular, in this work, we provide a real-world case study, namely the COVID-19 pandemic event, to verify the applicability of the proposed method. Finally, we conducted a survey on the example resulting summaries with human judges for quality assessment of generated summaries. From the case study and experimental results, we have demonstrated that our summarization method provides users with a feasible method to quickly understand the updates in the specific event intelligence based on the real-time summary of the event story.

Incineration is one of the options available to dispose municipal solid wastes (MSW) as it is capable of breaking down hazardous non-metallic wastes besides destroying bacteria and viruses. In terms of volume of wastes, incineration can reduce almost instantaneously by 90 %. In 1998, the government of Malaysia embarked on a pilot project to use incinerators to dispose MSW in four popular resort islands to see the effectiveness of this technique of waste disposal. Seven units of mini incinerators were installed on the islands and the local municipals were made responsible to manage and maintain.This project looked into the problems arises when incineration is used for MSW disposal on these islands. Data collected revealed that the plants were not properly managed and maintained. This was due to the lack of funds available for effective and smooth operation and the absence of highly expert personnel required to maintain the plant. Other factors that contribute to the inefficiency are inadequate air pollution control facilities and the infrastructure which do not condon the foul odour. Further research work need to be done to monitor the operation of these incinerators in order to explore its potential to dispose waste safely, effectively and cleanly.

Introduction. The article presents the results of a study of communication in the system of local self-government of the Republic of Tatarstan as a subject of the Russian Federation conducted by the authors in November – December 2019. The study included a survey of representatives of regional media and press services of local authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan in order to determine the model of communication in the local government system and the role of PR-activities in the regulation of social interaction in the region. Methods and materials. The main method of studying was the method of expert survey. The authors developed a questionnaire, which was used during an interview with experts. When choosing an expert – a media representative for the interview – the authors took into account three factors: the rating of the represented media, the experience of the respondent in the regional media (at least five years) and the authority to make a key decision on the publication of the material. In order to identify the experts who are representatives of local self-government bodies, the authors of the article determined the following criteria: implementation of information and analytical activities in the structure of local self-government bodies, at least 5 years of experience as a head of a structural unit (public relations / media relations department) of local self-government bodies. Analysis. The analysis showed that the development of social media accelerates the process of establishing a two-way model of communication between the government and the public. Social media have become a full-fledged source of information both for the journalistic community and for the press services of local governments. Moreover, with the help of the content posted in posts on official accounts on social networks, local governments can attract residents of the municipal territory to participate in solving local issues. Constant monitoring, responding to comments, tracking negative content on social media are becoming everyday practices in the work of press services. Results. The results of the study indicate that over the past decade in the Russian Federation the necessary prerequisites have been formed for the formation of a bilateral symmetrical model of communication between local authorities and the population. This model is aimed at providing effective feedback that allows the local government to quickly respond to the aspirations and needs of the population, monitor their dynamics, constantly monitor the attitude and assessments of citizens of decisions made on the development of the city or region.

An attempt to solve the agrarian question at the beginning of the 20th century has been analyzed. The interaction and confrontation of two ministries – the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of the Interior and local authorities: local committees of the Special Meeting on the needs of the agricultural industry and provincial committees of the Editorial Commission of the Ministry of the Interior, their attempts to discuss and resolve the peasant issue at the beginning of the 20th century, – have been examined. It has been substantiated, that at the beginning of the 20th century the state authorities did not develop a unified course in resolving the peasant issue and only the events of the 1905 revolution forced the government to take emergency measures in the development of agricultural legislation.

Geosocial network data provides the full information on current trends in human, their behaviors, their living style, the incidents and events, the disasters, current medical infection, and much more with respect to locations. Hence, the current geosocial media can work as a data asset for facilitating the national and the government itself by analyzing the geosocial data at real-time. However, there are millions of geosocial network users, who generates terabytes of heterogeneous data with a variety of information every day with high-speed, termed as Big Data. Analyzing such big amount of data and making real-time decisions is an inspiring task. Therefore, this book chapter discusses the exploration of geosocial networks. A system architecture is discussed and implemented in a real-time environment in order to process the abundant amount of various social network data to monitor the earth events, incidents, medical diseases, user trends and thoughts to make future real-time decisions as well as future planning.
