The present research aimed to determine how deficiencies in the management of administrative human talent influence the levels of development of labor competencies in an agro-industrial company, theoretically based on the process of development of human talent and its dynamics, at the same time it diagnosed the current state of the competences of administrative collaborators. The methodology was mixed, descriptive, using the survey with its structured questionnaire validated by Cronbach's alpha, whose population was made up of 40 administrative collaborators and the sample was 27. At the consolidated level, the attitude dimension reached an average mean of 2, 76, knowledge competence 2.46 and skill competence an average mean of 2.47. The results reveal that there are deficiencies in various competencies of human talent, which correspond to the three operationalized dimensions: attitude, knowledge, ability. It was concluded that the collaborators of the agroindustrial company presented deficiencies in their labor competencies in the 3 dimensions addressed, since a human talent development strategy is urgently needed to improve the levels of labor competencies in the collaborators.

Abstract Objective: The relevance and use of Muscle Energy Technique (MET) as a mode of treatment for Non-specific low back pain (NSLBP) over the last two decades has increased among physiotherapists and other health professionals. This supports the clinical relevance and efficacy of this technique. However, there are no studies to determine the level of MET knowledge among Nigerian physiotherapists. This study was designed to determine the MET knowledge among Nigerian physiotherapists.Method: A total of one hundred and twenty physiotherapists were recruited from the database of the Nigerian Society of Physiotherapy and participated in the study. They completed a semi-structured questionnaire containing 46-items. This was divided into four sections which sourced information on sociodemographic characteristics, work-profile, treatment activities and the knowledge of MET for the management of NSLBP. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics for mean, frequency and percentages. Inferential statistics of Chi-square, Pearson Correlation, independent t-test and ANOVA were used to determine the significant difference with significance set at p<0.05.Result: The study revealed that 16.7% of the participants had knowledge of the application of MET in the management for NSLBP. Age, educational level, practice setting, area of specialization such as musculoskeletal therapy, ergonomics and additional training of low back pain (LBP) were factors that influenced respondents’ MET knowledge (p<0.05). However, gender, university of training, number of years of experience and the practice of managing of LBP in the physiotherapy department did not influence knowledge of MET for the management of NSLBP (p >0.05).Conclusion: This study showed that a small number of participants had knowledge of MET application in the management of NSLBP and certain factors influenced this knowledge. Keywords: Non-specific low back pain, Muscle Energy Technique, Physiotherapists knowledge, Nigeria

AbstractThe objective of this study is to provide a valid and reliable Turkish version of the original Standardized Cosmesis and Health Nasal Outcomes Survey (SCHNOS). The SCHNOS questionnaire was translated from English to Turkish using standardized guidelines. Participants completed the questionnaire twice, with an interval of 7 to 10 days. Reliability and validity analyses were performed based on these answers. Differences between the rhinoplasty and control groups, the internal consistency of the instrument (Cronbach's alpha coefficient), and the strength of association between the two repeated measures (Pearson's correlation coefficient) were analyzed. Of the 188 included individuals (106 females, 82 males; mean age 28 ± 8.4 years), 97 were in the rhinoplasty group and 91 were in the control group. The mean total SCHNOS scores were 0.6 ± 0.4 and 29.4 ± 8.9 in the control and rhinoplasty groups, respectively, and there was a statistically significant difference in total scores between the groups (p < 0.001). The internal consistency reliability of the scale was found to be highly significant (Cronbach's alpha = 0.96, with a lower 95% confidence interval of 0.89). The test–retest correlation value was 0.95 for the total score, and each item had a strong test–retest correlation, ranging from 0.92 to 0.96. The Turkish version of the SCHNOS is a valid and reliable scale for evaluating both functional and cosmetic outcomes in Turkish-speaking patients undergoing rhinoplasty.

The Instituto Tecnologico de Sonora (ITSON) is a university concerned about the integral development of its students, developing the capacity of entrepreneurship through its dimensions. The objective of this research was to identify the entrepreneurship capacity of the students through a descriptive study and difference of means, which allows the knowledge of the levels of perception in their dimensions. The participants were students enrolled in entrepreneurship and the instrument was applied to a sample of 40 students. The type of research was descriptive with the difference of means of each gender. The instrument was adapted from Mavila, Tinoco & Campos (2009) with a Likert scale that goes from 5 to 1 where 5 is never and 1 always. Cronbach's alpha was 0.908. Regarding the findings, in the dimensions it was observed that the highest perception with an average of 1.5000 corresponds to self-realization and the lowest one with 1.9958 to social relation, both in the acceptable range. Regarding the difference of means over gender, it was observed that there is no significant difference. It is concluded that the ITSON students perceive that they have a capacity for entrepreneurship.

The aim of the study was to determine psychometric characteristics of a new test for the evaluation of dynamic balance in healthy individuals. The research was conducted on a sample of 60 female students (21.18±.86 years). The participants performed three trials of the new test for each of the two different ways of walking. The results of reliability have shown high values of factor loadings (.91-.97) and standardized Cronbach’s alpha values (.87-.98), as well as the average inter-item correlation values (full feet walking, tip toe walking and the number of steps) (.78-.94). High values of factor loadings (.88-.97) and the fact that the total explained variance was very high (93.3%), with a relatively small variability between the attempts, suggests that all the rules for consistency of testing have been satisfied and that the new test is reliable enough for its application in practice.

BACKGROUND In Brazil, the prevalence of diseases caused by arboviruses has increased alarmingly in recent years. Information and communication technologies, especially mobile technologies, has been used to engage the population and to change their practices in order to control the rising of mosquitos. OBJECTIVE The objective of this study was to perform a survey of the applications (apps) created for prevention and health promotion in relation to arbovirus diseases transmitted by Aedes Aegypti – such as dengue, zika and chikungunya – as well as classify the quality of these apps based on the Mobile App Rating Scale (MARS). The assessment also investigated whether these apps were elaborated considering the theories of behaviour change. METHODS The analysis of the apps for mobile devices was performed using the Android operating system and the Google’s app store. The search terms used were "Chikungunya", "Dengue" and "Zika". The apps were independently analysed by two researchers after a period of training using the MARS scale. Student's T-test was performed to compare the means obtained by the two researchers in order to evaluate if they had a significant difference at the 5% level. The Kappa test was used to evaluate the interobserver agreement for binary categorical variables and for variables using Likert scale. The reliability of the scale was estimated using the Cronbach's alpha coefficient. RESULTS Many of the evaluated apps accomplish their goals of transmitting information in an interactive way, but they do not necessarily have the purpose of influencing their users to change behaviours related to the control of disease-vector mosquitoes. Student's T-test did not show significant differences in scores of the different sections of the MARS except for the engagement. Three variables had an almost perfect or strong agreement using Kappa (above 0.61): whether the apps could be classified as informative, had a geolocation feature and were used to entertainment. Cronbach’s Alpha showed good reliability of the MARSs. This study also showed that it is necessary to create and regulate evaluation, dissemination and storage policies for these apps so that, over the years, a deeper analysis of the role of these tools in health promotion can be investigated and better understood. CONCLUSIONS In Brazil, the vast majority of apps, created to prevent arboviroses, were developed for informational or entertainment purposes and they were not explicitly based on health behaviour theories.

Introduction: This study aims to use the Indonesian translation of modified couple satisfaction index (CSI) tool to evaluate parental happiness scores at before and after participating playing together activities that was designed for bonding development between parents and children. Methods: By using a serial pre-post intervention experimental design, to assess a minimal of 263 couples of mothers and fathers having underfive year old child at before after the intervention, and two weeks after. The intervention was playing activities in an interactive playground spent by parents and child for 1.5–2 hours that were located in Medan, Jakarta, Surabaya and Makassar. The validated CSI semi-structured questionnaire (by using Cronbach’s alpha of 60% or more) was used to collect data to explore factors contributing to parents’ happiness. A multiple measure analysis was used to analyse the parents’ happiness improvements. Results: The CSI tool was valid with the Cronbach’s alpha of 0.87 and 0.84 for father and mother, respectively. This study could recruit a total of 370 couples, however only 282 couples completed all data collection. There are 11 items asked for parents’ happiness, 3 items regarding to factors contributing to parents’ happiness, and 6 items to assess parents’ satisfaction. There are improvements in all items by proportions, and the total score of parents’feeling about their relationship are significantly increased by time (P<0.001).Conclusion: The quality of playing together between parents and child can increase family happiness at both short and longer-periods.
