Abstract. The present study used a mixed approach of research to analyze the implicit theories and models of formation underlying the perception of the role associated with physical education teachers in Chilean university students who begin their period of training. Therefore, a sample of 77 students (57.1% male, 42.9% females) from two universities, aged between 18 and 20 years old (x: 19.2 years), was selected. The most significant results revealed high influence of previous experience on the evaluation of subjects and on the perception of the teaching role, as well as emphasis on teachers’ personal attributes and attitudes above methodological, conceptual, and value aspects. Based on that, there is a predominance of the pedagogical model and of the educational theory as implicit theories underlying the perception of teachers’ role and, alongside, an emphasis on practical formation models so to better approach work expectations related with teaching. The implications and challenges that such reality entails for universities and training centers in the discipline are analyzed.

Grounded in SDT, several studies have highlighted the role of teachers’ motivating and demotivating styles for students’ motivation, learning, and physical activity in physical education (PE). However, most of these studies focused on a restricted number of motivating strategies (e.g., offering choice) or dimensions (e.g., autonomy support). Recently, researchers have developed the Situations-in-School (i.e., SIS-Education) questionnaire, which allows one to gain a more integrative and fine-grained insight into teachers’ engagement in autonomy-support, structure, control, and chaos through a circular structure (i.e., a circumplex). Although teaching in PE resembles teaching in academic courses in many ways, some of the items of the original situation-based questionnaire (e.g., regarding homework) are irrelevant to the PE context. In the present study, we therefore sought to develop a modified, PE-friendly version of this earlier validated SIS-questionnaire—the SIS-PE. Findings in a sample of Belgian (N = 136) and French (N = 259) PE teachers, examined together and as independent samples, showed that the variation in PE teachers’ motivating styles in this adapted version is also best captured by a circumplex structure, with four overarching styles and eight subareas differing in their level of need support and directiveness. The SIS-PE possesses excellent convergent and concurrent validity. With the adaptations being successful, great opportunities for future research on PE teachers (de-)motivating styles are created.

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the position of teacher creativity in an effort to mediate the influence of the practice of Human Resource Management (HRM) which can be carried out by schools to improve teacher performance. This type of research is an explanatory research and also uses a quantitative approach. The variables in this research include several aspects such as the practice of implementing HRM, Teacher Creativity, and the performance of Sports Physical Education Teachers. This research was conducted by reaching a number of 102 Sports Physical Education teachers consisting of several levels such as elementary, middle, and high schools in Malang City, Malang Regency and Batu City. Information can be obtained by distributing questionnaires either directly (offline) or online. The analysis of data information was carried out by researchers using SEM-PLS with the WARP PLS 7 application Meanwhile, the results of this research indicate the findings that the practice of HRM does not have a direct influence on the performance of Sports Physical Education Teachers with a significance value of 0.30 and the effect of HR Practice on The performance of sports teachers mediated by teacher creativity has a significance value of <0.001, which means that the teacher's creativity fully mediates the effect of HR practice on the performance of sports teachers.

BACKGROUND Physical education teachers often experience stress and job disengagement. OBJECTIVE This study aims to develop a measurement scale of job disengagement among physical education teachers and to present an explanatory model by presenting the mediating role of perceived stress as a major factor in disengagement and job satisfaction, also the relationship between family and work as an indirect effect for this phenomenon. METHODS A total of 268 primary and secondary school physical education teachers, made up of 165 men (54.46%) and 138 women (45.54%) participated voluntarily in our study. The measuring instruments are the work disengagement scale, the Perceived stress scale, the Work-family conflict scale (WFC), the family-work conflict scale (FWC), and the scale of dissatisfaction at work. RESULTS the Arabic language versions of the WFC and the FWC had reasonably adequate psychometric properties which were justified by confirmatory analyzes and by the measurement of reliability, convergent and discriminant validity through the measurement model in SmartPls. Likewise, the structural model established with the SmartPLS software confirmed strong links of the concepts FWC, WFCS, the questionnaire of job satisfaction, the perceived stress with the disengagement of work among teachers of physical education. CONCLUSIONS There is a growing interest in helping teachers cope with the daily pressures of work and family. A positive organizational context is a context with clear values regarding work priorities that constitutes the basis of a feeling of shared responsibility and professional support.Good conditions can act as protective factors reducing work stress and positively influencing personal well-being, work attitudes, work commitment, and professional efficiency. Additional teacher research is needed to examine the relationship between perceived work stress and the role of families, also the extent to which this association can have a significant impact on teachers' commitment to work.

This paper was aimed at examining the role of linguistics in English language teaching as a EFL at higher education. The participants of the study were summer students of English Language and literature department of Mettu University. Accordingly, all participants were selected through purposive sampling techniques for the questionnaire and interview. Quantitative and qualitative data were obtained and analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Thus, this study employed a mixed approach. The findings of the study revealed that all participants have reached on mutual understanding and well noted that linguistics and language teaching have the same subject matter to deal with the role of linguistics to play in the process of language teaching. Therefore it can be said that language is the fundamental unit of the branch of linguistics. Without languages the subject of linguistics cannot be there. In other words languages pave the way for the growth of the field of linguistics. A language is a mental phenomenon and a way of expression of thought by means of articulate sounds. On the other hand linguistics is a branch of study that deals with languages. Finally, the findings have significant implications for adoption of linguistics in teaching language. This is the reason why the role of linguistics in English language teaching is needed for language learners. Keywords: Linguistics, Language, Language Teaching, Teaching, Role Of Linguistics

The article analyzes the scientific studies concerning general concepts of self-guided work. Special attention is paid to the periodization of projecting in the life of a society with a deep historical background. The authors argue that the phenomenon of projecting is related to such concepts as method, technology, activity. A multidimensional study of pedagogical projecting has led to the conclusion that due to its use in future physical education teachers’ self-guided work the following traits are formed: the style of projective thinking, the ability to create pedagogical projects, the formation of creative abilities and thinking, reflection, etc. Based on the conducted research, the authors present their position on the phenomenon of pedagogical projecting. They also prove the effectiveness of the attitude of future physical education teachers to the use of pedagogical projecting in self-guided work. Keywords: self-guided work, pedagogical projecting, project method, project activity.

In many sporting events that have been held both nationally and internationally, Indonesia is still ranked below. Observations that have been made on PJOK teachers and trainers have found that they have not been able to identify and develop sports talent optimally by applying science. Research that has been done proves that an athlete is not only born but is also created through an appropriate talent identification program. There are at least two instruments that can be used to identify children's talents, namely I do and I Like. This application I like is online and saves and processes the data of children that we input and then will provide an output in the form of a dominant sport that is suitable for children. While I do in the form of tests of the ability of children with predetermined instruments. This service activity aims to: a) have skills in identifying and developing talent, b) understand and be skilled in using I do and I like instruments as part of talent identification, c) able to implement the management of talent identification instruments in their respective places. The method used uses the principle that every innovation received by PJOK teachers and trainers through PIE (Preparation, Implementation and Evaluation). This means that the delivery of innovations to Partners is taken through the stages of explanation, discussion, practice and evaluation stages are carried out with assistance in the learning and training process
