Researchers tried to use the mind mapping method to overcome some of the problems that occurred. The researcher tried this method because the researcher had attended training and read a book on Quantum Teaching and Learning by Bobbry D'botter at a private high school in Cibinong, Bogor Regency. In the training and the book, the material for the mind mapping method was very interesting. The research method used is quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative methods are used to determine how much student learning outcomes or achievement after using this mind mapping method. And qualitative methods are used to find out how the results of students' interest tests in Indonesian subjects through filling out questionnaires, before and after the implementation of the mind mapping method in this class. There are students who like the mind mapping method, some are just ordinary. Most students said it was easier to write an essay by making a mind map first. No one said it was getting dizzy anymore. What's interesting about mind mapping is the image, color and manufacture. Group study is preferred. With more intensive monitoring, all students are willing to work. The mind mapping method is very necessary in learning Indonesian, especially in the competence of writing essays. By making an outline in the form of a mind map that can be drawn and colored at will, it can motivate students to express their ideas through various images and colors. Mind mapping can also generate ideas, making it easier for students to write essays.   Keywords: Mind Mapping, Competence, Writing Essay, Students

The spread of the Corona virus has had a significant impact on the world of education. The policy taken by many countries, including Indonesia, is to close all educational activities. This makes the government and related institutions have to present an alternative learning process. Many factors affect student learning outcomes coupled with changes in learning conditions due to the Corona virus (Covid-19) outbreak. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the impacts and constraints of the Covid-19 outbreak on teaching and learning activities, especially in Geography subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Sikur. Data collection was carried out using the pretest - posttest method of students' abilities before and after the Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out by quantitative methods using paired sample t-test to test the difference in the effect of the two treatments on the interrelated sample groups. The results of the analysis indicate that there is a difference in the average Geography learning outcomes of 11th grade of social science students before and after the outbreak of the corona virus. Information was obtained that the average value of student learning outcomes during the face-to-face learning process was 86.27, better than the average value when the learning process was carried out online which was 75.73. This Classroom Action Research was conducted at MI Muhammadiyah 02 Mariyai with the aim of improving student moral learning outcomes through the mind mapping method. The research subjects were grade IV students, amounting to 26 people. Researchers used two cycles, each of which consisted of three meetings. Data retrieval is done using learning outcomes tests and observation sheets. The collected data were analyzed both quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data is calculated using data analysis on Microsoft Excel. The results obtained showed an increase in moral learning outcomes ie from the average score of the initial ability of students 63.85 in the low category, then in the first cycle the average score of student learning outcomes increased to 76.35 in the medium category, and in the cycle, II increased to 86.15 which is in the high category. Increasing the score of student learning outcomes is also directly proportional to mastery learning. In the initial ability score, the number of students who finished learning was 8 people (30.77%), then in the first cycle increased to 16 people (61.54%), and in the second cycle increased again to 24 people (92.31%). Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that an increase in the learning outcomes of the Moral Law in Class IV MI Muhammadiyah 02 Mariyai Students after using the mind mapping method.

Abstract : The aim to be achieved in this study is to improve the ability to write description text by using the Mind mapping method in students of class VII H Konawe Selatan 1 State Middle School. This study follows a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) design. This research was conducted in two cycles through the steps of planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were students of class VII H Konawe Selatan 1 State Middle School. The object of this research is the role of the Mind mapping method to improve the ability to write description text. Information  was collected by observation and test techniques. Information is analyzed by qualitative and quantitative methods. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the use of the Mind mapping method can improve the learning of writing text description skills of class VII H students of Konawe Selatan 1 State Middle School. This can be seen from the achievement of indicators of success both in terms of processes and results in this study. The average observation of teacher activities and student activities increases in the first cycle and second cycle. In terms of classical completeness results in the first cycle of 54.55% and in the second cycle the percentage of classical completeness was 86.36%.  Keywords: Ability, Mind Mapping method, writing description teks.

This is evidenced by the results of the study, which showed differences in results, before and after the action was taken. That's why researchers try mind mapping methods to overcome them. This method is quite interesting, because it uses images created by students, which can be colored and decorated as students want and can come up with ideas in writing. The results of observation during the study, showed that students looked enthusiastic once the mind mapping method was introduced to be applied to writing. When doing any task, all can collect tasks. From the results of data processing, the percentage of mastery learning obtained in Cycle I was 39%, in Cycle II it was 100%,. These results indicate an increase in each cycle. Based on these results, the researcher suggests that MTs English teachers try to use the mind mapping method for learning aspects of writing as well as other aspects of learning. Researchers believe that exceptional student creativity will be seen in the results or mind mapping picture. Besides being able to foster creativity and interest, this method also contains various methods and can generate ideas.

This study aims to determine differences in student learning outcomes in social studies learning between mind mapping learning methods classes and group discussion method classes. This research uses a quasi-experiment. The results showed that student learning outcomes in social studies learning were taught using the higher mind mapping method while those taught using the group discussion method were lower. T-test results obtained ttest = 3.7026 and ttable = 1.992. From the t-test, it can be concluded that ttest> ttable, meaning that there are differences in social studies learning outcomes between the mind mapping method class and the group discussion method class. Based on the results of the t-test, it can be concluded that the mind mapping method is more influential than the group discussion method on social studies learning outcomes.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Mind Mapping learning method on student learning outcomes in class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Siberut Tengah on hydrocarbon material. The research sample amounted to 28 students, who were selected using the Purpose Sampling technique. The instrument used was a test instrument for chemistry learning outcomes, in the form of pretest and posttest which were analyzed using SPSS 22 for window to determine the results of the T-test on the Independent Sample Test. Normality test using Shapiro-Wilk test on sig. > 0.05 that is equal to 0.034. The results of hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample Test which shows that the value of sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, which means Ha is accepted. Thus, it is concluded that there is an effect of using Mind Mapping to improve student chemistry learning outcomes.
