This article aims to discuss the history and development of the modern Islamic boarding school Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor including: history, founder profile, goals, vision and mission. By using a descriptive qualitative method. Based on the results of research on integrated curriculum management at the Modern Islamic Boarding School Ummul Quro Al-Islami, it can be concluded as follows: (1) The history of the modern Islamic boarding school Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor was founded by KH. Helmi Abdul Mubin, Lc with a capital of 250 thousand rupiah, was motivated by the arrival of a delegation from Australia to the Islamic boarding school where he taught to find an ustadz who was good at English to teach religion in the Australian Muslim community (2) KH. Helmi Abdul Mubin, Lc as the founder of the modern Islamic boarding school Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor is a Madurese son born on March 23, 1956, the first of four children of the late Abdul Mubin and Musyaroh, who spent his childhood in Prenduan Madura, after graduating from Pragaan Elementary School in Sumenep last continued his education at the modern Gontor boarding school in Ponorogo, East Java. (3) The purpose of establishing the modern Islamic boarding school Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor is to participate in building a just and prosperous society and republic of Indonesia and receive the pleasure of Allah SWT, forming a generation of Muslims who excel in academic and non-academic achievements as a provision to continue to higher education. and or live independently, produce a generation of Muslims who are polite in speech and behavior, create a generation of Islam with a social spirit (serving the community) and grow a generation of Muslims who are diligent in carrying out mandatory and sunnah worship based on the understanding of ahlussunnah wal jama'ah. The vision of the modern Islamic boarding school Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor is the realization of a generation of Muslims who excel in achievement, have noble character, do good deeds and diligently worship according to the teachings of Islam Ahl as-Sunnah wa al-jama'ah, as for the mission of the modern Islamic boarding school Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor namely providing quality education in achieving academic and non-academic achievements, preparing cadres of ulama and community leaders who are mutafaqqih fi ad-diin with the understanding of Ahl as-Sunnah wa al-jama'ah, preparing competent Islamic generations (science, skills, social behavior, sincere faith) to take part in the international world and educate generations of Islam who are obedient to Allah and His Messenger and have a sense of responsibility towards themselves, their family, society and country. This study aims to know about muthmainnah teachers according to the thought of kyai in Islamic Boarding School Wali Songo, Ngabar, Ponorogo East Java. This research used qualitative method with three sample of kyai Pondok Pesantren Wali Songo Ngabar Ponorogo. The results of this study showed that Guru muthmainnah is a noble position to be had when teachers apply the aspects of takhalli, tahalli, which will ultimately gain enlightenment of soul, thought and behavior, can be achieved by walking the spiritual-divine paths such as; al-musyarathah, almuraqabah, al-muhasabah, and al-mujahadah.

Good integrated curriculum planning affects the implementation of curriculum in a good boarding school environment. The impact has a positive nuance for the development of curriculum management in Madrasah. The purpose of this research is to reveal: How to plan integrated curriculum on Madrasah in the pesantren environment in improving the quality of existing teachers. The study used a qualitative approach with multi-case design. Data validity collection and verification techniques. The results showed that (1) Integrated curriculum management in Madrasah in the boarding school needs to coordinate so that the curriculum is in accordance with the needs in three research locations, (2) The principal activities at the Madrasah And teachers can provide information to convey activity materials to students (3) The involvement of the principal in curriculum planning in the institution of boarding schools can exist if supported by local and national subjects. The conclusion of this study as follows (1) can improve teacher's professional and quality of education, (2) can improve the professionalism of teachers and students by the guidance on the new curriculum, (3) can meet the needs of society.

 There is no doubt leadership has been given a tremendous place and a key positioning in Islam, Qur’an, Sunnah and the consensus of Ulama’u (Muslim scholars) have made it apparent about the necessity of leadership among the Muslim community. Most recently, the issue of leadership in Nigeria has become a major concern to the Nigerians. Whilst some research has been conducted to examine the solutions to Nigerian leadership, little attention has been paid to Islamic approaches of accountability which is the vital pillar of governance as the key towards sustainable leadership in Nigeria. This study therefore seeks to explore the lessons from leadership and accountability during the caliphate of Umar bin Abdulaziz (R.A) as a panacea to Nigerian Leaders.The methodology of the study relies on critical and comprehensive analysis of the existing published literature related to the topic. Hence, data collection is effected through the qualitative method. The findings of this study revealed that there are lots of lessons and wisdoms that Nigerian government could acquire from the history of caliphate Umar such as his reformations and innovations in governing the state as reflected in siyasah shar’iyyah which can be solution for practicing good governance in Nigeria. Based on the findings, it was recommended that fear of Allah and believing in accountability is the best option for leaders.Key words: Leadership, Islam, Model, Accountability, Good Governance.

School education is usually carried out in a school complex which is an ideal meeting place between educators and students in realizing the quality of quality education. ducation contains values of moral ethics, aesthetics and social care to achieve educational success. But that changed when learning activities began to be carried out at home online. All parties began to make various very difficult adaptations. The school and educators must work hard to strive for an adequate internet network as a means of learning. Students and parents at home are struggling to take part in online learning. After this has been implemented, it is known that there are many obstacles faced by various parties. A very sad case is the decline in children's interest in learning. In this study the authors used a qualitative method to describe the problems that occurred. The results of the data collection, it is known that there is a decrease in children's interest in learning and laziness in learning, it is that efforts to motivate can encourage children's enthusiasm for learning. The purpose of this research is to implement ethical values and social care in social life. The conclusion is; a decrease in children's interest in learning (laziness) in the perspective of axiology is a bad value and behavior is not praiseworthy for whatever reason.

Kiai is the Javanese term of ulama in the traditional Muslim community. It generally refers to a person who has a deep understanding of Islam and leads the institution of traditional Islamic education called pondok pesantren or Islamic boarding school. Indeed, the strength of a Kiai is based on his leadership at the pesantren that has functioned as a space for cultural-social reproduction. While the attention of many researchers focused on the shifting of Islamic authority in the digital age, not much of them paid special attention to the survival of Kiai’s authority. This study aims to examine the role of pesantren in preserving the authority of the Kiai in the digital age. This study employed qualitative method and utilized the cultural reproduction theory of Pierre Bourdieu. This study found that Kiai’s authority continues to survive because pesantren functioned as a space for transmitting cultural values, including the recognition of Kiai’s high position. As a social and cultural reproduction space, pesantren becomes a field that forms habitus through the transmission of its cultural values which is naturally formed in the daily practices of the santri.

The existence of dayahs in Central Aceh is an Islamic educational institution that contributes in influencing the religious life of the community, day by step the development of both the quantity and quality is increasing. This study aims to describe the modernization Education System of Dayah Terpadu Al-Azhar, includes sub-systems of dayah education. This research is a field research with a descriptive qualitative method using a phenomenological approach, the main data source of this study is the document, and the informants are leaders of dayah, teungku dayah, santri and community leaders. Modernization education system of Dayah Terpadu Al-Azhar is characterized by changes in objectives, teungku and santri dayah, implementation of an integrated curriculum, enriching the treasures of contemporary books, the use of active strategies and varied methods, development of the dayah environment, and evaluation of learning.

The purpose of this study is to find out the business development process which is conducted by Kopontren Sidogiri in creating Basmalah stores that spread across Indonesia with sharia-based businesses. This study uses a qualitative method by using a descriptive case study method. The object of this study is the Basmalah store. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews on three informants, consisting of the Head of the Marketing Division, the Head of the Operational Division, and the Head of the Area Manager Division. Based on the results of the study, it indicates that the business development carried out by Kopontren Sidogiri is mutually sustainable between one business and another. Kopontren Sidogiri, which is known as a sharia-based cooperative, succeeds in creating three companies, namely PT. Sidogiri Mitra Utama which supervises the Basmalah store, PT. Sidogiri Mandiri Utama which owns Santri AMDK products, and PT. Sidogiri Pandu Utama which manages human resources using the Sidogiri Excel Center (SEC) program or better known as the Sidogiri corporation. The business strength of Sidogiri corporation lies in the relationship created between Alumni of Islamic boarding school and students of Sidogiri so that they can quickly develop their markets, regions and business products. The contract used in opening new branches comes under ijarah, mudharabah, and musyarakah. In every new branch opening of Basmalah store, they conduct recitations that invite community leaders to introduce Basmalah store.Keywords: Business Development, Kopontren Sidogiri, Islamic Boarding School Business, Sharia Business.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan kurikulum pesantren di Kabupaten Jepara di Era 4.0.  Mengapa pesantren sudah menggunakan 4.0, tapi peserta didik tidak menguasai penggunaan media digital. Pondok Kabupaten Jepara ini adalah untuk mengetahui dinamika proses kebijakan pelaksanaan manajemen pendidikan di pesantren tersebut, untuk mengetahui pola manajemen yang dipraktekkan pengelola (kyai) dalam menggerakkan dan mengelola semua sumber daya di pesantren dan untuk mengetahui faktor penunjang dan faktor penghambat dalam kebijakan pengembngan  manajemen pesantren sebagai tindak lanjut dalam peningkatan pengelolaan pendidikan pesantren. Penelitian ini di laksanakan di pondok pesatren memakai penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan metode kualitatif atau pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan telaah dokumentasi, wawancara dan observasi, analisis datang dengan tiga langkah yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data atau penyimpulan. Hasil penelitian dideskripsikan dengan dianalisis sehingga dapat menemukan menemukan teori serta pesan manajemen pendidikan madrasah pesantren (kyai) dengan manajemen pendidikan pesantren (kemenag). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan merupakan suatu metode yang di gunakan untuk suatu hasil produk tertentu serta menguji keefektifan dari produk tersebut. Upaya untuk mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan dan temuan temuan baru. Jadi penelitian ini adalah upaya untuk membuktikan mengembangkan dan menemukan bukti kongkret kebenaran sebuah model yang telah ada. hasil penelitian sangat mendukung dalam proses pembelajaran yaitu adanya fasiltas proyektor, laptop, audio, sehingga pada saat pembelajaran materi sangat didukung dengan fasilitas tersebut, dan juga guru sangat terbantu fasilitas tersebut itu terbukti pada saat proses pembelajran guru menyampaikan materi menggunakan semua fasilitas tersebut sehingga peserta didik tidak jenuh dikelas. [This study aims to: (1) explain the meaning of Islamic boarding schools; 2) explain the basis of religion, philosophical foundation and also social foundation Management culture of Islamic Boarding Schools; and (3) explain the curriculum development of Islamic boarding schools in Jepara. This research was carried out in several Islamic boarding schools in Jepara district. This study uses a qualitative method by emphasizing descriptive and problem analysis using a type of problem analysis (field research) that focuses on the analytical studies. So this research is an attempt to prove the development and finding concrete evidence of the truth of an existing model. The results of the study show that development is a method used for a particular product outcome and testing the effectiveness of the product. Efforts to develop new knowledge and findings. So this research is an attempt to prove the development and also find the real evidence and the truth of an existing model. The result of this research support the learning process such as the existence of projector facilities, laptops and audio, so that the learning process will be supported by these facilities, and also the teacher is greatly helped by these facilities as evidenced during the learning process the teacher delivers the material by using all of these facilities so that students not feel saturated in the class.]

The halaqah method was practiced in Islamic education since the period of Prophet Muhammad PBUH in order for convey knowledge and education to the Muslims. Continuity in applying the halaqah method in Islamic education has been continued as a legacy in Islam to continue the culture of knowledge established by the Prophet Muhammad PBUH. The establishment of pondok institutions, especially in the state of Kelantan, has demonstrated the application of the halaqah method in the teaching and learning system. Hence, the objective of this study is to study the history of halaqah method in education practised by Rasulullah SAW and also the applications of halaqah method in selected pondok’s, Pondok Pasir Tumbuh, Kota Bharu and Pondok Lubuk Tapah, Pasir Mas, Kelantan. This study uses a qualitative method based entirely on document analysis, interviews and observations to compile the data needed. The results of the study show that the halaqah method is still being used in pondok’s institutions eventhough the current globalization have changed the education system including the Islamic education. The halaqah method is still releven for improved knowledge among the Muslim community especially in pondok’s institutions in Kelantan. For conclusion, the applications of the halaqah method is important in Islamic education especially in pondok’s institutions as a model for practicing the Prophet's PBUH sunnah.
