 There is no doubt leadership has been given a tremendous place and a key positioning in Islam, Qur’an, Sunnah and the consensus of Ulama’u (Muslim scholars) have made it apparent about the necessity of leadership among the Muslim community. Most recently, the issue of leadership in Nigeria has become a major concern to the Nigerians. Whilst some research has been conducted to examine the solutions to Nigerian leadership, little attention has been paid to Islamic approaches of accountability which is the vital pillar of governance as the key towards sustainable leadership in Nigeria. This study therefore seeks to explore the lessons from leadership and accountability during the caliphate of Umar bin Abdulaziz (R.A) as a panacea to Nigerian Leaders.The methodology of the study relies on critical and comprehensive analysis of the existing published literature related to the topic. Hence, data collection is effected through the qualitative method. The findings of this study revealed that there are lots of lessons and wisdoms that Nigerian government could acquire from the history of caliphate Umar such as his reformations and innovations in governing the state as reflected in siyasah shar’iyyah which can be solution for practicing good governance in Nigeria. Based on the findings, it was recommended that fear of Allah and believing in accountability is the best option for leaders.Key words: Leadership, Islam, Model, Accountability, Good Governance.

The history of Arabic literature has revealed that the custom of the Arabs in general is to enjoy composing poetry. There are also various forms of traditional poetry, Absolute poetry and free poetry. To know the truth, damage and changes that occur in the poetry wazan needed ilmu Arūḍ science. In analyzing Arabic poetry, it cannot be done haphazardly, accuracy and skill in the ‘Arūd are needed. This needs to be considered because in order to get best analysis results. The purpose of this study is to describe the types of baḥr, zihāf and illat in the poetry ya syi'ru by Syabi, in accordance with the Arūḍ Science approach. this research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques using literature study. the data in this study are words or sentences obtained from the poem entitled ya syi'ru. The data obtained are classified and analyzed by descriptive methods, according to the type of data obtained. The results showed that the type of baḥr used in the poems of ya syi'ru by Syabi is baḥr Majzu’ Kamil, Zihāf found in these poems is Iḍmar, zihāf jari majra illat (iḍmar). Zihāf who dominates in these verses is iḍmar. And the Illat found from the poem is illat tażyīl and tarfil. The most commonly found illat is illat tażyīl.

<p>This research begins with the observations and observations of the author when visiting Syekh Burhanuddin Nagari Ulakan's Religious Cemetery of Ulakan Tapakis Subdistrict, Padang Pariaman Regency, that unknown attractions, narrow accessibility, inadequate tourist facilities and tourist activities in tourist attractions Religious Tomb of Sheikh Burhanuddin. This study aims to analyze how the Development of Religious Tourism and the History of Syekh Burhanuddin's Tomb in Padang Pariaman Regency is seen from four indicators of development potential, namely attractions, accessibility, amenities, and activities. This type of research is a qualitative method research using SWOT analysis. The technique of data collection is done using the method of interview, observation, documentation, and SWOT analysis. The technique of data collection was done by interviewing the tomb guards and those who knew more about Sheikh Burhanuddin's grave, and using the SWOT analysis. Religious activity in the area has brought vast impact on the surrounding region, either in the form of the development of economic activities, the development of settlements and the like, however the development of the area has not been coupled with completeness basic facilities and infrastructure are adequate in supporting religious activities as well as a growing tourism activities.<em></em></p>

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini antara lain : Pertama, memahami aspek – aspek dakwah dalam pelaksanaan Ritual Mandi Safar. Kedua mengetahui dan menganalisis suatu elemen – elemen yang memicu pro dan kontra di dalam pelaksanaan Ritual Mandi Safar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif, sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah sumber data primer, yaitu pelaku dan pihak – pihak yang mengetahui sejarah Ritual Mandi Safar. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penyusunan peneliti ini adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bawa Mandi Safar merupakan Ritual yang bernuansa agama, namun pada dasarnya  tradisi tersebut bukanlah bagian dari agama. Dalam Ritual Mandi Safar yang perlu dikedepankan adalah sapek “tradisi dan budaya” bukan aspek Ritual keagamaannya, karena akan timbul pemahaman syirik pada masyarakat. Aspek – aspek dakwah yang terkandung  di  dalam  mandi  safar yaitu, aspek sosial yaitu, kebersamaan dan kesetiakawanan dan aspek aqidah yaitu, kepercayaan dan keyakinan yang dapat menyelaraskan  dengan timbulnya  prilaku  yang  mementingkan  kepentingan  bersama  atau  nilai  solidaritas  dalam tindakan   masyarakat. The objectives in this study include: First, understand of da'wah in the implementation of the Ritual of Mandi Safar. The two know and analyze an element that triggers pro and contra in the implementation of the Ritual of Mandi Safar. The research method used is a qualitative method, Data sources in this study are primary data sources, namely the perpetrators and partys who know the history of the Ritual of Mandi Safar. The data collection techniques used in the preparation of this researcher are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that Safar Bath is a Ritual that has a religious nuance, but basically the tradition is not part of religion. In the Ritual of Mandi Safar, which needs to be put forward, the sapek "tradition and culture" is not an aspect of its religious Ritual, because will arises comprehension syirik on society . Aspects of da'wah contained in safar baths are, social aspects namely, togetherness and solidarity and aspects of aqedah namely, trust and confidence that can harmonize with the emergence of behavior that conserned interest shared or the value of solidarity in community actions.

This article aims to discuss the history and development of the modern Islamic boarding school Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor including: history, founder profile, goals, vision and mission. By using a descriptive qualitative method. Based on the results of research on integrated curriculum management at the Modern Islamic Boarding School Ummul Quro Al-Islami, it can be concluded as follows: (1) The history of the modern Islamic boarding school Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor was founded by KH. Helmi Abdul Mubin, Lc with a capital of 250 thousand rupiah, was motivated by the arrival of a delegation from Australia to the Islamic boarding school where he taught to find an ustadz who was good at English to teach religion in the Australian Muslim community (2) KH. Helmi Abdul Mubin, Lc as the founder of the modern Islamic boarding school Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor is a Madurese son born on March 23, 1956, the first of four children of the late Abdul Mubin and Musyaroh, who spent his childhood in Prenduan Madura, after graduating from Pragaan Elementary School in Sumenep last continued his education at the modern Gontor boarding school in Ponorogo, East Java. (3) The purpose of establishing the modern Islamic boarding school Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor is to participate in building a just and prosperous society and republic of Indonesia and receive the pleasure of Allah SWT, forming a generation of Muslims who excel in academic and non-academic achievements as a provision to continue to higher education. and or live independently, produce a generation of Muslims who are polite in speech and behavior, create a generation of Islam with a social spirit (serving the community) and grow a generation of Muslims who are diligent in carrying out mandatory and sunnah worship based on the understanding of ahlussunnah wal jama'ah. The vision of the modern Islamic boarding school Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor is the realization of a generation of Muslims who excel in achievement, have noble character, do good deeds and diligently worship according to the teachings of Islam Ahl as-Sunnah wa al-jama'ah, as for the mission of the modern Islamic boarding school Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor namely providing quality education in achieving academic and non-academic achievements, preparing cadres of ulama and community leaders who are mutafaqqih fi ad-diin with the understanding of Ahl as-Sunnah wa al-jama'ah, preparing competent Islamic generations (science, skills, social behavior, sincere faith) to take part in the international world and educate generations of Islam who are obedient to Allah and His Messenger and have a sense of responsibility towards themselves, their family, society and country. Nasi bogana is one of the typical culinary in Cirebon area. This culinary can be found in almost every palace in Cirebon. This cuisine is usually served during salvation  or other celebrations. The Kacirebonan Palace is one of the palaces that still maintain the tradition and culture of nasi bogana. One of the efforts made by the Kacirebonan Palace was to establish a restaurant called Pawon Bogana. In the Pawon Bogana restaurant, nasi bogana is used as a mainstay menu. However, the bogana rice in the Pawon Bogana restaurant has experienced development and headway. The purpose of this study was to find out the complete history of bogana rice, the culinary development at this time when viewed from the quality and uniqueness of food and the development of bogana rice so that the culinary becomes more sustainable and awake. This study uses a qualitative method. Data sources used are sources, events and documents. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, documentation and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used are data analysis that is carried out interactively and takes place continuously since data collection in the field and continues until data collection is completed. The results of the study show that Bogana Rice is one of the typical cuisines in the Cirebon area. This cuisine is usually served during salvation or other celebratory events. This culinary is used as a means of charity and is shared with others. In addition, another meaning of bogana rice is the expression of gratitude to Allah SWT. The development of bogana rice when viewed from the quality and uniqueness of food is growing and continues to innovate so that people can continue to taste the culinary. The development of bogana rice has now been carried out by the Kacirebonan Palace and continues to be carried out so that bogana rice becomes more sustainable and preserves its peculiarities.

This article focused on the Demak Sultanate as a stronghold of Islamic greatness in Java island in the Middle Ages. The research used a qualitative method with historical approaches and policy theories. Data collection techniques were done through heuristic stages, internal and external criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The research aimed to answer questions about the historical establishment of the Demak Sultanate and its policies until it became a powerful country and a stronghold of Islamic greatness. This research unveiled important findings. First, Islam, which existed in 1082 on the efforts and struggle of Wali Songo, continued to develop until the Muslim community was formed. Second, the Demak Sultanate, which lasted for almost half a century, was ruled by three sultans; and with their policies, it became a stronghold of Islamic greatness in Java. Third, the Demak Sultanate grew to be an Islamic power center beside Pasai, Malacca, Aceh, Ternate and Tidore. The Demak Sultanate could fend off Portuguese influence which built alliances and conspiracies with the Pajajaran Kingdom in Ujung Barat and Panarukan in the Eastern Edge of Java Island, and Banjarmasin in South Kalimantan, giving rise to the expression of "Because of Demak, Christianity failed to dominate in Java and some areas outside Java,” and Islam became stronger in Java that being “Javanese was the same as being Muslim.”

East Ilir District I Palembang contains a wealth of historical and cultural data such as historical sites from the time of Sriwijaya to Colonial especially on toponymous studies. The purpose of this research is to know the value of toponym history during the reign of Sultanate of Palembang Darusallam in subdistrict of ilir east I Palembang. This study uses descriptive qualitative method is a method that talked about the results of observation interviewsor penelaan documents. This research is also systematically there are main activities ysng done: Technique of data collection through activity of direct observation to research location. From the research results can be concluded that the history of toponyms in East Ilir District I Palembang has a relationship with the history of the government of the Islamic empire in Palembang Palembang Sultanate Darusallam. The toponymous study in East Ilir I Palembang Sub-district is a lot of historical relics such as Kepandean Street (Iron Craft), Sayangan Street (Copper Craftsmen), Street Segaran (Swimming Baths), Tengkuruk River Road (Son of Musi River), Angsoko Temple Road (Temple Complex and Tomb of Prince Madi Angsoko of the kingdom of Palembang) as well as toponyms in the form of Nationalism and Geographical form (Natural Results).

Friday Prayers are prayers for 2 rokaat which are held on Friday congregation after Friday sermons after entering the Dhuhur time. To be able to perform Friday prayers in the Jamaah, the number of attendees must be at least 40 people and carried out in a mosque that can accommodate many people. The holding of Friday prayers the Al-Akbar Mosque has a large capacity of 30,000 people. In organizing Friday Prayers the Al-Akbar mosque has a program in service to jama'ah, which is to provide services in the form of preparing quite well in its implementation. One of them is by preparing khotbah, khotib and muadzin and so on. So by conducting this research, it is intended to find out the Efforts of Al-Akbar Mosque in Improving Services on Friday Prayers. The objectives achieved in this study were to find out how the Al-Akbar Mosque’s efforts in improving services at Friday Prayers and finding the inhibiting factors and solution. This research was conducted at the Al-Akbar Mosque in Surabaya. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This study used data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The number of informants were 1  from director of imarah, 2 heads and representatives of the Emirate (worship and dakwah) and 1 section of public relationship, 1 part of administration and 2 congregations of Al-Akbar Mosque. In general, it can be concluded that the Efforts of Al-Akbar Mosque in Building Service Differentiation in the Implementation of Friday Prayers is service to jama’ah. Service is something that is very needed by jama’ah. In the history of the Mosque it was mentioned that the Mosque had a role to serve the ummah. The services carried out by the Al-Akbar Mosque are in 3 regions, spriritual, social and economic. In this Mosque, in addition to the takmir services, the Al-Akbar Mosque created a dialogue program after Friday Prayer.             Sholat Jumat adalah sholat 2 rokaat yang dilakukan di hari Jumat secara berjamaah setelah khutbah Jumat setelah masuk waktu Dhuhur. Untuk dapat melakukan sholat Jum’at berjamaah, jumlah yang hadir harus minimal 40 orang dan dilakukan di masjid yang dapat menampung banyak jamaah. Penyelenggaraan sholat jum’at di Masjid Al-Akbar memiliki  kapasitas yang besar memiliki 30.000 jama’ah. Dalam penyelenggaraan sholat jum’at Masjid Al-Akbar memiliki program dalam pelayanan kepada jama’ah yaitu meberikan pelayanan dalam bentuk mempersiapkan kematangan dalam penyelenggaraanya. Salah satunya dengan mempersiapkan, khotib, imam, dan muadzin, dan bagian-bagian yang lainnya. Maka dengan penelitian ini di maksud untuk mengetahui Upaya Masjid Al-Akbar Dalam Meningkatkan Pelayanan Pada Sholat Jum’at. Tujuan yang di capai dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bagaiamana upaya Masjid Al-Akbar Dalam Meningkatkan Pelayanan Pada Sholat Jum’at dan mengetahui faktor penghambat dan solusinya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Masjid Al-Akbar Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Jumlah informan 1 dari direktur imarah, 2 ketua dan wakil imarah (ibadah dan dakwah), dan 1 bagian humas, 1 bagian tata usaha dan 2 jama’ah tetap Masjid Al-Akbar. Secara umum, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Upaya Masjid Al-Akbar Dalam Membangun Pelayanan Pada Penyelenggaraan Sholat Jum’at adalah Pelayanan kepada jama’ah. Pelayanan merupakan sesuatu yang hal sangat dibutuhkan oleh jama’ah. Dalam sejarah masjid disebutkan bahwa masjid berperan untuk melayani ummat. Pelayanan yang dilakukan oleh Masjid Al-Akbar adalah dengan 3 wilayah, spritual, sosial dan ekonomi. Di masjid ini juga selain pelayanan takmir Masjid Al-Akbar membuat program dialog setelah jum’at dan pengiqraran non muslim.

The purpose of this research is to analyze compliance of the village government implementing UU RI nomor 6 tahun 2014 about the village, especially on paragraph 71-75 and the derivatives regulation governing about village financial management cycle. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. To obtain the data, writers used data collection techniques include gradual interview and documentation techniques. Based on data obtained from various sources concluded that there are three indicators to measure the level of compliance of the village administration in the village financial management cycle. Three indicators are visible from the village knowledge about the UU RI nomor 6 tahun 2014 and derivatives regulation on the financial management of the village, the village financial management cycle, and adherence to the village financial management principles. Guidance and supervision by the central and local governments is indispensable for the village government in managing the finances of the village. Implementation of the law is a form of village government compliance towards good governance.

The halaqah method was practiced in Islamic education since the period of Prophet Muhammad PBUH in order for convey knowledge and education to the Muslims. Continuity in applying the halaqah method in Islamic education has been continued as a legacy in Islam to continue the culture of knowledge established by the Prophet Muhammad PBUH. The establishment of pondok institutions, especially in the state of Kelantan, has demonstrated the application of the halaqah method in the teaching and learning system. Hence, the objective of this study is to study the history of halaqah method in education practised by Rasulullah SAW and also the applications of halaqah method in selected pondok’s, Pondok Pasir Tumbuh, Kota Bharu and Pondok Lubuk Tapah, Pasir Mas, Kelantan. This study uses a qualitative method based entirely on document analysis, interviews and observations to compile the data needed. The results of the study show that the halaqah method is still being used in pondok’s institutions eventhough the current globalization have changed the education system including the Islamic education. The halaqah method is still releven for improved knowledge among the Muslim community especially in pondok’s institutions in Kelantan. For conclusion, the applications of the halaqah method is important in Islamic education especially in pondok’s institutions as a model for practicing the Prophet's PBUH sunnah.
