Introduction. The development of modern society implies that more and more information is placed in the digital space. Therefore, the attitude of the management of transport companies to the promotion of healthy lifestyle and the prevention of COVID-19 can be indirectly assessed by the content of their sites and web pages. Purpose. The purpose of this article is a content analysis of rail companies’ sites and web pages on the promotion of healthy lifestyles and the prevention of COVID-19. Materials and methods. The study was carried out once, in October 2020. We analyzed the sites and web pages of rail companies using the formation of queries, as well as using the search engines Yandex and Google. Results. The frequency of mentioning healthy lifestyle issues on the websites and web pages of the analyzed rail companies vary from 32 to 54 %. COVID-19 prevention issues are covered only in a half of cases by railway companies and in more than 90 % – on the websites and web pages of subways, high-speed trams and city trams. In general, the analyzed websites and web pages of the rail companies adequately display the information related to the prevention of COVID. Discussion. Rail companies pay attention to the formation of healthy lifestyles and prevention of COVID-19 on their web pages and sites. For this reason, it can be assumed that the management of the rail companies is concerned about these problems. At the same time, we have no reason to believe that the analyzed web documents fully reflect the ongoing preventive programs, in other words, it can be assumed that the preventive activities of rail companies are broader than shown in this study. Meanwhile, rail companies do not fully cover their social policy regarding the health of their own employees. Conclusion. The sites and web pages of rail companies, as a rule, contain scattered information on promoting healthy lifestyle. At the same time, the information on the prevention of COVID-19 is usually presented in a comprehensive manner. The issues of COVID-19 prevention in general are mentioned on more sites and web pages than the issues of healthy lifestyle formation.

The article discusses the gender aspects of health, proceeding from the assumption that taking them into account is likely to increase the effectiveness of motivational measures in the field of forming healthy lifestyles. The methodological basis of this paper is the concept of health promotion supported by WHO that is based on intersectoral and interdisciplinary approaches. It incorporates both a certain system of values, primarily active involvement of people in maintaining their health, and a set of state activities, among which motivating people to healthy lifestyles is important. Behavioral economics as an area of an interdisciplinary research on decision-making substantiates the mechanisms that should be used, among other things, to achieve the goals of healthcare policy, and to solve such problems of modern society as lack of physical activity, tobacco and alcohol abuse, and unhealthy diet.Gender approach that includes gender aspects in the process of analyzing the situation and making political decisions aimed at improving population health becomes a precondition for increasing the effectiveness of motivational measures taken in the interests of promoting the health of citizens. The results of the surveys on the impact of behavioral factors on the health status of the population of Russia conducted by the Russian statistical agency (Rosstat) in 2013 and 2018 were used as a source of empirical data. They made it possible to identify both the differences and the similarities of women and men with regard to behavior motives concerning certain parameters of a healthy lifestyle, namely physical activities and diet. The authors conclude that, despite the importance of using measures aimed at changing behavior, sustainable overcoming of gender stereotypes depends on the intersection of behavioral and socio-economic determinants of health and healthy behavior.

In this paper, we propose a web document ranking method using topic modeling for effective information collection and classification. The proposed method is applied to the document ranking technique to avoid duplicated crawling when crawling at high speed. Through the proposed document ranking technique, it is feasible to remove redundant documents, classify the documents efficiently, and confirm that the crawler service is running. The proposed method enables rapid collection of many web documents; the user can search the web pages with constant data update efficiently. In addition, the efficiency of data retrieval can be improved because new information can be automatically classified and transmitted. By expanding the scope of the method to big data based web pages and improving it for application to various websites, it is expected that more effective information retrieval will be possible.

Women with maternal obesity, an unhealthy lifestyle before and during pregnancy and excess gestational weight gain have an increased risk of adverse pregnancy and birth outcomes that can also increase the risk of long-term poor health for them and their children. Pregnant women have frequent medical appointments and are highly receptive to health advice. Healthcare professionals who interact with women during pregnancy are in a privileged position to support women to make lasting healthy lifestyle changes that can improve gestational weight gain and pregnancy outcomes and halt the intergenerational nature of obesity. Midwives and obstetrical nurses are key healthcare professionals responsible for providing antenatal care in most countries. Therefore, it is crucial for them to build and enhance their ability to promote healthy lifestyles in pregnant women. Undergraduate midwifery curricula usually lack sufficient lifestyle content to provide emerging midwives and obstetrical nurses with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively assess and support healthy lifestyle behaviours in pregnant women. Consequently, registered midwives and obstetrical nurses may not recognise their role in healthy lifestyle promotion specific to healthy eating and physical activity in practice. In addition, practising midwives and obstetrical nurses do not consistently have access to healthy lifestyle promotion training in the workplace. Therefore, many midwives and obstetrical nurses may not have the confidence and/or skills to support pregnant women to improve their lifestyles. This narrative review summarises the role of midwives and obstetrical nurses in the promotion of healthy lifestyles relating to healthy eating and physical activity and optimising weight in pregnancy, the barriers that they face to deliver optimal care and an overview of what we know works when supporting midwives and obstetrical nurses in their role to support women in achieving a healthy lifestyle.

Day by day the volume of information availability in the web is growing significantly. There are several data structures for information available in the web such as structured, semi-structured and unstructured. Majority of information in the web is presented in web pages. The information presented in web pages is semi-structured.  But the information required for a context are scattered in different web documents. It is difficult to analyze the large volumes of semi-structured information presented in the web pages and to make decisions based on the analysis. The current research work proposed a frame work for a system that extracts information from various sources and prepares reports based on the knowledge built from the analysis. This simplifies  data extraction, data consolidation, data analysis and decision making based on the information presented in the web pages. The proposed frame work integrates web crawling, information extraction and data mining technologies for better information analysis that helps in effective decision making.   It enables people and organizations to extract information from various sourses of web and to make an effective analysis on the extracted data for effective decision making.  The proposed frame work is applicable for any application domain. Positive parenting programs are a key strategy to promote the development of parental competence. We designed a pilot study based on parental self-efficacy to promote healthy lifestyles in their children aged between 2 to 5 years old. In this pilot study, we aimed to assess the effects of a parenting program on parental self-efficacy and parenting styles. Twenty-five parents were allocated into intervention (N = 15) and control group (N = 10). Parents from the intervention group received four group sessions (120 mi per session) to develop a positive parenting, parenting styles and parenting skills regarding to children’s diet, exercise, and screen time, and two additional sessions about child development and family games. Parents from the control group received these two latter sessions. Parental self-efficacy, parenting styles, and meal-related parenting practices were measured before and after the intervention and at 3-month follow-up. Acceptability and feasibility of the program was also measured. Quantitative data were analyzed using the repeat measures ANOVA and ANCOVA tests and the effect size calculation. Content analysis was used to analyse open questions. Positive trends were found regarding parental self-efficacy and the use of authoritative parenting style. Parents also reported a great acceptability of the program getting high satisfaction. According to the feasibility barriers and facilitators aspects were identified. The positive trends founded in this study support the development of parenting programs to promote healthy lifestyle in children.

This study aims to measure healthy lifestyles according to the time of participation in the Programa Academia da Saúde (PAS). We used baseline data from a randomized controlled community trial with a representative sample of PAS users from Belo Horizonte, Brazil (n = 3,414). The data on healthy lifestyles collected were: daily fruit and vegetables intake (≥5 servings); physical activity engagement (≥180min/week); body mass index (18.5kg/m² ≥ BMI ≤ 24.9kg/m²), smoking and drinking habits. The time of participation in the PAS was calculated by the difference between the date of registration in the program and the date of the data collection. Logistic regression models were used to evaluate associations between healthy lifestyles and time of participation in the PAS. Almost half of the participants (43.3%) had three healthy lifestyle factors. The prevalence of having all five factors varied according to the time of participation in the service; the lowest rates were in the first quartile (4.9%) and the highest rates in the fourth quartile (8.1%). Those who have attended the service for the longest time (fourth quartile) were more likely to have a healthy BMI (OR = 1.43; 95%CI: 1.14-1.80; p = 0.002) and to avoid smoking (OR = 1.62; 95%CI: 1.06-4.49; p = 0.01), compared to those who have attended the program for less time (first quartile). The prevalence of healthy lifestyles in PAS users was low. However, a longer permanence in the program seems to favor positive changes on BMI and on smoking habits.

The paper presents a study of modern social practices of health care in the family. The problem of research is determined by the need to implement health-saving technologies such as living conditions and family life, as well as the introduction of social practices of healthy lifestyles in primary groups. The relevance of the topic is determined by the conditions for the development of modern Russian society, which are characterized by the need to form a social institution of healthy lifestyle and mandatory components in the form of social practices for informal groups. From this perspective, the natural course of development is the institution of the family, which takes on the task of introducing a healthy lifestyle as a system of daily activities. The study is based on the institutional analysis of health-preserving technologies in the family, the basis for the analysis was the theoretical and methodological principles of studying society as a social system (T. Parsons, N. Luhmann). The model for representing health-saving technologies in the everyday practices of the modern Russian family is based on the model of systems of social actions by T. Parsons and the model of the functioning of the family as a social institution by R. Merton. The empirical base is based on the author's sociological research: a survey, an expert survey, document analysis, macrosociological analysis and modeling (from 2016 to 2021), as well as the results of studies conducted by All-Russia Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM), The Levada Center (2018). As a result of the research, an analysis of the social practices of a healthy lifestyle in a modern Russian family was carried out; the components of a healthy lifestyle were presented as a condition for the development of health-saving technologies in the daily actions of an individual. The model of social practices of healthy lifestyles in a modern Russian family is based on the institutional analysis of the family.
