Tirta Mahakam Resources Tbk Samarinda. The method used is quantitative analysis that is by multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study is the number of permanent employees in the production of PT. Tirta Mahakam Resources Tbk Samarinda in 2017 as many as 792 population. The sample in this research using simple random sampling by using slovin formula technique, so sample taken as many as 266 samples of employees remain part production PT. Tirta Mahakam Resources Tbk Samarinda. The results showed that the value of F arithmetic = 143,844, using the significance limit of 0.05, then obtained the significance value is smaller than 0.05 is 0.000, it means that simultaneously the variable work stress and work motivation significantly influence employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0,522 or 52,2%, hence coefficient simultaneously in explaining variation or change of dependent variable (Y) found the influence of free variable 52,2%, while the rest is 47,8%. The result of hypothesis testing (H1) through the calculation results obtained t count value of 15,444 with the significance level of 0.000 results is smaller than 0.05, which means that the hypothesis in this study Ho rejected and Ha accepted. This test statistically proves that work stress has positive and dominant effect to employee performance. The result of hypothesis testing (H2) through the calculation results obtained t count value of 3.215 with the significance of the result of 0.001 is smaller than 0.05, which means that the hypothesis in this study Ho rejected and Ha accepted. This test statistically proves that the motivation has a positive effect on the performance of employees of PT. Tirta Mahakam Resources Tbk Samarinda.

Telkom Access Pematang Siantar, North Sumatera Territory. The analytical method that was used is multiple linear regression analysis. The amount of population in this study is 284 employees working PT. Telkom Access Pematang Siantar, North Sumatera Areal . The sampling amount is 166 respondens by using Proportional Random Sampling. The data was collected by using questionnaire, interview, and documentation study. From the result of the research, it is discovered that the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0,820 or 82%. This means that the variations in employee working performance can be determined by variations in organizational commitment and working discipline by 82%, while the rest 18% is determined by other variables not included in this research, such as motivation, leadership, communication, and training program. The multiple linear regression equation obtained from the data processing result is Y = 4.182 + 0.420 (X1) + 0.615 (X2) + ei, which means that organizational commitment and working discipline are positively affecting the employee performance at PT. Telkom Access Pematang Siantar, North Sumatera Territory. Simultaneously, organizational commitment and working discipline are significantly affecting the employees achievement at PT. Telkom Access Pematang Siantar, North Sumatera Areal. The research was motived by the existing condition showing that employees have not been able to work optimally in a government agency. This study aimed to analyze and examine the influence of competence, training, and employee placement on employee performance in the Technical Executive Unit of Regional Financial Agency of Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Bangka Regency. This study is descriptive research. The method used was the quantitative research method because the data obtained was in the form of numbers derived from questionnaires. The number of samples was 44 respondents generated by the saturated sample method. The analysis model utilized multiple linear regression, with the t-test, f-test, and coefficient of determination. Based on multiple linear regression analysis found Y = 8,669 + 0,283 X1 + 0,447 X2 + 0,256 X3. Based on the results of research on competence, training and employee placement partially have a positive and significant effect on the performance of the employee of the Regional Finance Office of Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung. Based on the results of the simultaneous test, it is known that competence, training and employee placement together have a significant effect onthe performance of the employees, while the results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2) show the determination of R2 in this study is 76% and there are still 24% of other variables outside the study that can still be developed for further research.

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and the work enviroment on employee performance at Kantor Camat Juhar Kabupaten Karo. The number of samples in this study were 18 respondents who were Civil Servants at the Office of the Sub-District Head of Mark Karo Regency. Library research and field research were used in this research. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing was performed using ttest, Ftest and determination coefficient test. The results of the study obtained multiple regression equations Y=2,290-0,158X1+0,766X2, which explains that the regression coefficients possessed by the variables of ability and work experience give a positive direction to the performance of the employees of the Karo District Head Office. Based on hypothesis testing, it is found that motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a tcount (-0,649)> ttable value (2,109).Work enviroment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a tcount (5.038)> a ttable value (2,109. Motivation and work enviroment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by the value of Fcount (38,875) > Ftable (3,59. The coefficient of determination test results also showed that 82,9% of employee performance variables could be explained by the variables of knowledge and work experience. While the remaining 17,1% is explained by other variables not examined in this study

Managing Human Resources is an essential role of a manager. By having highly motivated employees, an organization can achieve its vision by fulfilling its mission using its set values. Therefore, employees’ motivation is an important factor in their performance. This research was conducted at Media Café, by using work motivation (need of achievement, need of affiliation, and need of power) as the independent variable and employees’ performance as the dependent variable. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the work motivation variables stated above on the performance of Media Café’s employees. This research is descriptive and causal. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, simultaneous hypothesis test (F test), the partial hypothesis testing (t-test), and the coefficient of determination. Sampling technique is used Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Based on questionnaire with 100 respondents, employees’ work motivation and performance were very high.  In the hypothesis testing results, it can be concluded that the work motivation variables consisting of Need for Achievement (X1) and Need for Power (X3) individually had significant influence on performance with 11.2% and 10.73% respectively while Need for Affiliation (X2) had no significant influence on employee performance with 0.06%. Simultaneously, Need for Achievement (X1), Need for Affiliation (X2) and Need for Power (X3) had significant effect on employee performance (Y). In the test results the adjusted coefficient of determination (adjusted R2) obtained a value of 0.196, this means that the influence of work motivation on employee performance was 19.6%, while the remaining 80.4% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
