A research about physical form included 861 freshmen (335 male, 526 female) from Hanoi Medical University (2019 - 2020): Male students’ physical form measurement and figures are much better than female students’ and these indices is largely better than the previous studies of other authors. Physical form seems to increase by the time, after 45 years: male was 9.5 cm higher and 15.9 kg heavier, female was 7.0 cm higher and 5.8 kg heavier. In comparison with students in 2007, male students were8.5 kgs heavier and female students were 3.9 kgs heavier. In comparison with a research ten years ago, the height of male and female increased 4.2 cm and 3.3 cm, respectively. According to an Asian - Pacific population classification, students from Hanoi Medical University had medium weight.

The measurement of critical-thinking skills used a 6-essay-question instrument of the chemical material of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions that measures the aspects based on Facione theory, namely: analysis, inference, explanation, interpretation, evaluation, and self-regulation. Then, to measure creative-thinking skills, a 4-essay-question test instrument of the chemical material that includes 4 aspects according to Torrance, fluency, flexibility, original and elaboration, was used. Numerous studies have investigated why computers are perceived as being a male domain. In this study, the authors examine intra-gender differences among undergraduate and graduate students who enrolled in Management Information Systems (MIS) courses and attempt to answer such questions as do males achieve significantly higher scores in MIS courses? Does instructor gender affect female students' academic achievement? Do females underperform males in achievement at either or both undergraduate and graduate levels? This paper provides findings which demonstrate that female students performed significantly better than their male counterparts in the two introductory undergraduate MIS courses and performed equally well in an upper lever MIS course and an introductory course in the graduate program. Male students were impacted by the gender of the teacher. Even though it was not a main focus of the present study, the authors cannot resist making a casual observation that female teachers were more effective in the classroom.

Objective: to study the incidence rate of personality and anxiety disorders and their interrelationship in seniors of the medical university.Materials and methods. The screening study for detection of personality and anxiety disorders using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) and Standardized Assessment of Personality – Abbreviated Scale (SAPAS) scales included 104 senior-year students of the medical university. In the studied sample, males (n = 46; 44.2%) and females (n = 58; 55.8%) (p < 0.05) were equally represented, the average age of men was 23 (23; 25) years, women – 23 (23; 23) years. Statistical processing was performed using the Pearson’s χ2 test, Mann–Whitney U test to compare independent samples, and the Spearman correlation analysis (r) with a preliminary estimate of the normal distribution.Results. The data on the statistically significant differences in the level of anxiety and personality disorders depending on gender and age were obtained. Using the GAD-7 scale, the presence of moderate and average level of anxiety in male students was revealed in 26.1%, in female students – in 48.3% (ð = 0.001). The use of SAPAS scale revealed statistically insignificant differences in the studied groups: in males – 4 (4; 6) points, in the group of female students – 4 (3; 5) points (ð = 0.2).Conclusion. A logistic regression model was obtained that predicted the highest likelihood of development of anxiety disorders.

Verbal-Linguistic Intelligence and Kinesthetic-Body Intelligence are important for students to have at an early age. The purpose of this study is to see improvement in Verbal-Linguistic and Kinesthetic-Body Intelligence through Instagram-assisted Scientific Approaches. The study used a pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design on the thematic learning of my hobby topic. Determination of the sample by purposive sampling technique. Participants consisted of 15 male students and 12 female students in first-grade elementary school in Purwakarta Regency. Measurement through observation and documentation to observe and record the activities of students' verbal-linguistic and kinesthetic intelligence. Research shows an increase in Verbal-Linguistic and Kinesthetic-Body Intelligence is in the medium category with n-gain values of 0.59 and 0.56, and an increase in Verbal-Linguistic and Kinesthetic-Body Intelligence after learning with a more scientific-assisted Instagram approach significantly better than before being treated with sig. 0,000<0.05. The use of Instagram shows students enthusiastic about expressing their hobbies. Learning development should be able to accommodate a variety of student intelligence and utilize social media that serves to facilitate learning and assessment more interesting

This study focuses on the relationship between gender, students’ needs and the physical form of schoolyards. It investigates whether and how the needs of both male and female students influence the physical form of schoolyards in Palestine, as a Middle Eastern country. The aim is to develop a better theoretical understanding of the relationship between the students’ needs based on their gender, and the physical form of schoolyards. The study follows an environmental approach, which is based on the concept of behavioural setting, to analyse the physical form of schoolyards in relation to students' needs. For the validity of results, both quantitative (questionnaire) and qualitative approaches (observations, interviews with planners, and school principals, mental maps drawn by students) are used. Different techniques, such as Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), ethnographic (cultural) techniques, photos and written notes are used. The study finds that the components of the physical form of schoolyards (design, use and rules) are influenced by gender, particularly the design components. There are differences between design, use and rules components of females’ schoolyards and males’ schoolyards. These differences are due to differences between needs of female and male students in schoolyards. Therefore, the study recommends that the components of schoolyards should support different needs of both male and female students.

There is an array of reasons why acculturation can be stressful, and acculturative stress can be triggered by a plethora of factors. The aim of the study was to identify factors associated with acculturative stress among international students enrolled in a public medical university from Romania. 265 students were included in the research. Sociodemographic, academic, and family data, comfortability with living in study city, satisfaction with administrative staff, colleagues, and professors and Acculturative Stress Scale for International Students were gathered. Data have been processed using SPSS Statistics v23.0.0 for MAC.OSX. Female students are more prone to experience homesickness and stress due to change compared to male students. International students with Romanian origins had lower scores on perceived hate and stress due to change/culture shock compared to those with no Romanian origins. Students with relatives or friends enrolled in the same university had significantly lower levels of acculturative stress, perceived discrimination, perceived hate/rejection, and general/nonspecific concerns. Age and year of study are associated with homesickness and stress due to change/culture shock. The existence of factors associated with acculturative stress demand institutional, social, and psychological support for international students.
