The initial portion of the paper discusses the more conventional method of obtaining a vehicle transfer function where phase and magnitude are determined by dividing the cross spectral density of the input/output by the power spectral density (PSD) of the input. The authors needed a more descriptive analysis (over PSD) and developed a new signal description called Amplitude Frequency Distribution (AFD); a discrete joint probability of amplitude and frequency with the advantage of retaining amplitude distribution as well as frequency distribution. A better understanding was obtained, and transfer matrix functions were developed using AFD.

With the negative impact of pesticides, alternative technologies are needed to increase safer agricultural production, namely the use of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR). The analysis used in this thesis research is to use descriptive analysis, the level of interest of chilli farmers in the application of PGPR is analyzed by means of tabulating the data then the average value of the total questions on each indicator item. The assessment of the question is obtained based on the respondent's answer. Then using Simple Regression analysis is a linear relationship between one independent variable (X) and the dependent variable (Y). Then by using Kendall's W Analysis, which is devising a strategy to increase the change in the behavior of chilli farmers' interest in implementing PGPR from the lowest to the highest.

The research methods used were the qualitative and quantitative method by filling in questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation. The samples were chosen using the purposive sampling technique from the users of the park. The data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis, codification, data reduction, matriculation, cross tabulation, and the evaluation system using Likert scale. The research results indicated that the park was inconvenience with the parkconvenience being 61.97%. The effect of the street vendors had caused either positive or negative impacts on the park- the positive impact was that the park had become the largest culinary center in Pangkep town so that it could attract the tourists to visit the park, while the negative impact was that the park looked less beautiful and less hygiene. ABSTRACT Objective: To analyze whether sexual orientation affects the quality of life of people living with HIV/Aids (PLWHA). Method: A cross-sectional analytical study was carried out with 146 PLWHA in Teresina, capital city of the state of Piauí, in 2013, by means of the WHOQOL-HIV-bref. Descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression were used for data analysis. Results: There was a prevalence of men (63.7%), non-heterosexual (57.0%), aged between 19 and 39 years (89%). Of the total, 75.5% mentioned presence of negative feelings, such as fear and anxiety, and 38% reported have suffered stigma. With regard to the dimensions investigated, the most affected were “environment” and “level of independence”. Non-heterosexual orientation was negatively associated with quality of life in almost all dimensions. Conclusion: Living with HIV/Aids and having a non-heterosexual orientation have a negative impact on quality of life.

Abstract:. Noise is a sound that can cause discomfort. One of them is rail activity. Noise generated enough to bring negative impacts to the surrounding environment, especially in the school environment.. This research uses descriptive analysis method with cross sectional approach. The location of this research is the school that is right next to the railway crossing i.e. SMA Negeri 37 Jakarta. Noise level data retrieval is performed using a sound level meter applications android-based. The data measured by the instantaneous sound pressure level for 5 minutes, or Leq (5 minutes) for each measurement point. There are 5 point measurements. From the results of measurements at SMA Negeri 37 Jakarta gained an average noise level for 5 measurement point is 70.50 dB. The figure exceeds the threshold if refers to the Kep-48 MNLH/11/1996 to 55,00 dB maximum school environment. Necessary noise control efforts at that school to minimise the negative impact caused. Because of the higher the intensity of noise, the more negative impact, especially for students in the school.
