The ability to count is one of the important abilities in everyday life, it can be said that all activities of human life require this ability. this is a separate problem for teachers considering that learning at the primary and secondary education levels has differences where teachers in primary schools must master various materials from all subjects. The training method used is lecture, discussion, practice, and question and answer methods. Based on data, about 83.3% of teachers are enthusiastic about participating in the training and 16.7% of teachers who are not very enthusiastic about participating in the training. This shows that PKM activities with multiplication training using fingers are responded well and are in demand by teachers. There are several obstacles related to counting using finger media, namely errors in calculating line segments, distinguishing multiplier numbers and multiplied numbers. Therefore, we hope that teachers will often repeat or practice themselves by looking at the guidelines that have been given so that there are no mistakes in teaching students.

The paper considers teaching contents in comparative systems of primary and secondary education, which are important for the development of security culture of young people and based on the expanded security agenda and new educational needs in that context. Methodologically, the paper is based on a review of the existing literature and the analysis of certain strategic documents in the field of education and security. Special focus was placed on the practice in the Republic of Serbia and previous activities in this field. The initial aim was to gain insight into certain foreign experiences and experiences of the Republic of Serbia, regarding the representation of security contents in primary and secondary education, and - on the basis of this - to try to consider the development of security culture in the educational context. It was found that among the analyzed countries Poland, Slovenia and Russia have a special subject dedicated to security topics within their education systems and it is noticeable that there is such an effort in other countries, but for now, security contents are mostly implemented in the existing subjects. Regarding the Republic of Serbia, it is concluded, that the potential introduction of a special subject dedicated to security topics in secondary schools and the enrichment of existing subjects with the security content in primary schools, may result in the improvement of general security of the youth.

This study analyses the relation between student misbehaviour and teacher coercion from a teacher perspective by taking further contextual variables into account. Our participants were 480 male/female secondary education and 351 primary education teachers from the Spanish Autonomous Community of Aragón (Spain). This study forms part of the 2017 Coexistence Study in Aragón Education Centres. According to the theoretical framework and the SEM (structural equation modeling), the results revealed a close relationship between student misbehaviour and teacher coercion, although other contextual variables also appeared in the regression equation: in coexistence rules and in teacher competence. We ultimately found a certain degree of difference between the primary and secondary education levels. On the secondary school level, teacher conflicts were associated with student misbehaviour, while coexistence rules and participative and inclusive activities predicted teacher coercion. Conversely, on the primary school level, participative and inclusive activities predict a lower frequency of student misbehaviour, while teacher competence predicts a lower frequency of teacher coercion.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to employ a longitudinal approach to assess the effects of entrepreneurship education (EE) on students’ entrepreneurial intentions (EIs) through the constructs of the theory of planned behaviour (TPB), which include attitudes towards behaviour (ATB), subjective norms (SN) and perceived behavioural control (PBC). Specifically, this study aims to achieve two objectives: first, to determine if students’ ATB, SN, PBC and EIs would increase significantly after their exposure to EE; and second, to establish whether students’ ATB, SN and PBC mediate the relationship between EE and their EIs. Design/methodology/approach This longitudinal study employed a one-group pretest-posttest experimental research design. A self-reported questionnaire was administered to a randomly selected sample of 250 National Diploma students from five polytechnics in the North Central part of Nigeria before and after they were exposed to EE. To achieve the objectives of this study, repeated-measures t-test and partial least squares structural equation modelling were performed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences and SmartPLS, respectively, for data analysis. Findings The results of the paired-samples t-test showed that students’ ATB, SN, PBC and EIs increased significantly after their exposure to EE. Also, further data analysis revealed that EE had a significantly positive relationship with students’ ATB, SN, PBC and EIs. Similarly, the results of the structural model indicated that ATB had a significantly positive link with students’ EIs and also mediated the relationship between EE and students’ EIs. SN and PBC had a positive but not statistically significant relationship with students’ EIs and did not mediate the relationship between EE and students’ EIs. Practical implications The findings of this study provide interesting implications for EE and entrepreneurship policies in Nigeria. More specifically, the findings provide some practical implications for the Nigerian government and the EE curriculum developers. To achieve greater impact of EE on students’ EIs at the tertiary education level, the Nigerian government should incorporate EE into the curricula at the primary and secondary education levels. Equipping students at the primary and secondary education levels with entrepreneurial knowledge, competencies and skills would enable them to develop a strong entrepreneurial mindset even before they gain admission to tertiary institutions. Originality/value It is one of the few studies that have tested empirically both the direct and the indirect effects of EE on students’ EIs in a single study. Thus, it helps to further clarify the links between EE and EIs. Besides, it is among the first studies to adopt a longitudinal approach to assess the effects of EE on students’ EIs through the constructs of the TPB (i.e. ATB, SN and PBC) in the Nigerian context.

The curricula of the new Ukrainian school for grades 1-4, grades 5-6, physics programs for grades 7-11 and the content classification between subjects are analyzed. Appropriate methodological improvements are proposed to close the gap between primary and secondary education, in the context of studying certain physical concepts, by improving the adaptation of students in the transition from primary to primary school, in particular, in the transition from certain issues of mathematics, science and others to physics, where the implementation of subject competence. In view of this, it is suggested that primary and secondary school teachers, when studying the components of the content of the school course of physics, follow the generalized plans for their study, as in the school course of physics.

The global economy of the 21st century can thrive in an environment that is based on creativity and imagination, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. There is a strong positive relationship between empirical analysis, economic progress and education. According to the 2011 census in India, school-aged children between the ages of 6-14 years have a huge population of 30.5 million, which is about 25 percent of the total population. The goal of development is to focus on the quality of primary and secondary education by 2030. The Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi has said in one of his speeches (Mann Ki Baat) about the importance of quality. "Till now the focus of the government was the spread of education across the country but now the time has come to focus on the quality of education Should be given and now attention should be given to schooling knowledge.” In this regard, Human Resources Minister Prakash Javadekar has said that" Top priority to improve the quality of education in the country, primary and secondary education facing challenges, 16 percent of 19.67 crore children in 14.5 lakh primary schools under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and 16 percent of the schooling at the secondary level. Has decreased. Thus, to improve the quality of education, skill technical, innovation training technology, information technology employment, education development mission and vocational employment education are urgently needed.
