The study aimed at the inclusion of entrepreneurship in the education curriculum and the inability of graduates to get jobs in Kogi State. Thus entrepreneurship education and its impact on graduate unemployment were investigated. A descriptive survey design was used to achieve the study’s objectives. Six (6) higher institutions in Kogi State were chosen to make up the study’s population. Due to the nature of the research, we concentrated on students. The study determined the sample size of 385. Inferential and descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data gathered. Multiple regression analysis (inferential statistics) was applied to unveil the impact of independent variables on the dependent variable. The finding showed that entrepreneurship education has a significant effect on the unemployment rate of graduates in Kogi state. The study concluded that entrepreneurship in the education curriculum can influence a reduction in the unemployment rate of graduates in Kogi State. The study recommended the review of policy relative to entrepreneurial education to enhance the high degree of its effectiveness in Kogi State higher institutions.

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of covid-19 pandemic school close down on the research programme of higher institutions in Abuja, Nigeria. Descriptive survey design was used for the study and 4 research questions was developed for the study. Random sampling method was used to select 120 researchers in the four sampled institutions. The instrument used for collection of data was a structured questionnaire. Result collected revealed that 100% of the respondents agreed that Covid-19 pandemic school closure have impact on research program of higher institutions in FCT, 100% of the respondents agreed that Covid-19 pandemic will affects the flow of international research grants into higher institutions in FCT, 92% of the respondents agreed that Covid-19 pandemic will affects government funding of research higher institutions in FCT and 100% agreed that higher institutions as part of their community services by creating awereness to the general public on prevention of covid-19.The study also showed that 100% of the respondents agreed that higher institutions in Federal Capital Territory are collaborating with other institutions on the research for covid-19 vaccine while 69.17% of the respondents agreed that higher institutions in FCT are producing face masks for free distributions for the people to protect them from containing the covid-19 in Abuja. Based on this finding, this paper thereby recommends that government should increase the funding of research programme in Abuja and other higher institutions in the country.

This paper describes the impact of consumer’s attitude on the purchase of insurance product in Nigeria. The attitudes, most often negative, are mirrored through low patronage of insurance services. Data were collected through the use of self-structured closed questionnaire. The research adopted a descriptive survey design. One hundred and fifty (150) questionnaires were administered, however only one hundred and thirty two (132) were properly filled and good enough for data analysis. The Pearson Product Moment Correlation and Regression Analysis were used to test the hypotheses generated for the study at 0.05 alpha levels. The result of the study showed that there is a significant relationship between customer’s attitude and insurance product. Findings also revealed that there is a significant relationship between product awareness and price. Findings from the survey further revealed that promotion of insurance products have significant influence on consumers buying behavior. Insurance companies are advised to guarantee that their services are dependable and reliable, in that the services should not require an excessive amount of bureaucratic procedure of their customers in taking an insurance policy or getting their claim. Other feasible measures to boost patronage of insurance products were recommended for insurance firms and policy-makers.

Five elements identified from the literature as expressive of quality in grandparent/grandchild relationships were used in this study. Three hundred ninety-one young adults at a midwest university responded to questions concerning the quality of their relationships with their “most close” grandparent. Responses of the students validated the following five elements of quality as being associated with successful grandparent/grandchild relationships: 1) a fairly high degree of closeness, 2) a strong sense of being known by the grandparent, 3) a strong sense of the young adult's knowing the grandparent, 4) a sense of the grandparent being a fairly strong influence in the life of the grandchild, 5) a sense of an authentic or independent grandparent/grandchild relationship not dominated by, but supported by, the middle generation. Analysis of variance identified the impact of seven independent variables on the quality of grandparent/grandchild relationships.

Even though mental health is usually discussed from the western worldview, it has been existent in Kenya even before civilization. The main objective of this paper therefore is to assess the impact of cultural beliefs on mental health among some selected communities in Western Kenya. This paper was guided by the social psychology theory which posits that social influences, perception and interaction are vital in understanding social behavior. The paper adopted the descriptive survey design to present data thus studying the situation as it is in an attempt to explain it. The sampling techniques were Purposive which was used to select the specialists. The study instruments were interview schedule, Focus Group Discussion and documents review. The validity o the instruments were established through content validity by experts from MMUST. This paper established that cultural beliefs have both a negative and positive impact on mental health in the sense that anxiety and trauma from broken taboos and norms led to mental illness whereas the performance of rituals brought about peace and psychological contentment hence mental health. This article recommends that cultural beliefs which lead to mental health should be preserved for the same purpose.

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of the standardization of the new product development (NPD) process on its efficiency. A dilemma exists with regard to determining to what extent NPD processes should be standardized, in order to not hinder the operators during the performance of NPD process and consequently, weaken it. The case analysis for this study was carried out at a company whose process development has been standardized for a decade and has undergone several degrees of standardization. Quantitative and qualitative research methods were applied in the study. A regression method was used for quantitative research in order to study the effects of selected dependent and independent variables; using qualitative analysis, we supported the findings of the quantitative analysis. The results of the analysis indicate that the standardization of the NPD process does have an impact on its efficiency. From the obtained results, it may also be concluded that a very high degree of standardization begins to reduce the efficiency of the NPD process.

The study examined the impact of business innovation on competitive advantage in the Nigerian Manufacturing Sector.  The study was anchored on the theory of the resource-based theory and the dynamic capabilities theory. The descriptive survey design was employed. The population for the study comprised 496 staff of Nestle Nigeria Plc, Ogun State. A sample size of 217 respondents was selected through stratified sampling and a simple random sampling procedure. The questionnaire was administered to the respondents, out of which 207 were retrieved and subjected to further analysis. The stated hypotheses were tested using ordinal regression. The results showed that business innovation has a significant effect on the cost of the product (R2=0.729, F=11.237; p<.05), the sales of the product (R2=0.643, F=3.408; p<.05) and the quality of the product (R=0.845, R2=0.714, F=10.903; p<.05). The study recommended that multinational companies should pay more attention to customer satisfaction by increasing product quality. Emphasis should also be placed on innovation in order to cut a competitive edge.

<p>The research focused on the impact of Early Childhood Education (ECE) in the learning of pupils in primary schools in Kenya. The study employed descriptive survey design. The target population of the study was 616 teachers in the 32 public primary school in Starehe Division of Nairobi County. The sample comprised of 210 randomly selected primary school teachers. Data were gathered by use of questionnaire. Findings revealed that pupils who had gone through the ECE were able to acquire skills in basic counting, mathematics and speaking. Pupils who had not attended ECE classes had problems with grasping simple counting skills and simple language skills. They were not able to interact well with other pupils. The findings also revealed that pupils who had attended ECE classes were able to interact with the teachers better than those who had not attended ECE. Findings indicated that pupils who had attended the ECE classes had usually lower scores at the beginning in class one. Attending ECE classes enabled pupils become fluent in reading and in recognizing numbers in mathematics. The study concluded that ECE classes had prepared pupils to join primary school by enabling them learn some basic counting and speaking skills. The study recommended that parents should be sensitized on the need to take their children to the ECE centers before taking them to formal primary schools.</p>

This article describes the issue of governance in higher education, of which administration is key, is saddled with numerous challenges, as such, new approaches are being sought out to enhance the process. It is obvious that Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is a tool that enhances administrative activities of higher education institution. This article is based on descriptive survey design which investigates the impact of ICT on the administrative services/management of students' records in Nigerian universities. A questionnaire was the research instrument employed, and questionnaire items were developed through a review of related literature. A total of 200 respondents participated, comprising students, lecturers and administrators were randomly selected from ten universities in Nigeria. Data collected was analyzed using ANOVA. The major impacts of ICT in administrative services/management of students' records in Nigerian universities were identified and discussed. Suggestions are made on the need for Nigerian universities to widen the scope of ICT application in administrative services to fully reap the benefits of ICT.

Purpose: This study investigated the impact of teachers’ teaching experience on the implementation of English language curricula in public schools in the Aqaba Governorate, Jordan. Approach/Methodology/Design: The Rand Change Agent Theory of curriculum implementation guided this study. A descriptive survey design was adopted. The sample included 167 English language teachers who were selected purposively from 240 public school teachers in the Aqaba Governorate, Jordan. A questionnaire was developed as an instrument for data collection. It consisted of 36 items, and it was validated by presenting it to a group of arbitrators. The reliability was assured by carrying out a test-retest on a sample chosen from outside the sample of the study. Descriptive statistics were utilized to analyze data. Findings: The study findings indicated that there are statistically significant differences at (α≤0.05) between the implementation of English language curricula and the teacher’s teaching experience. This means that the teaching experience of the teacher affects the implementation of English language curricula. Practical Implications: The study presents certain implications for curriculum development policies. The study recommends engaging teachers in programs that assist them in exchanging experiences, knowledge, and skills to ensure effective execution of the curriculum in addition to the necessity for teachers to pay attention to self-development. Originality/value: Teaching experience plays a crucial role in curriculum implementation. It enables teachers to gain competence and effectiveness.

The COVID-19 pandemic has already produced considerable changes in all aspects of an economy. Being an economy with a high degree of trade openness, Vietnam has maintained extensive trade relations with many partners. In the context of a global pandemic, Vietnams economy has been severely affected. Therefore, this article focuses on analyzing the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on the aspects such as gross domestic product (GDP) growth, foreign trade, tourism, unemployment rate, and enterprises operation, and raising some prospects of Vietnams economy.
