Abstract. In shared spaces, grouped pedestrians can gain dominance and thus get the right of way from vehicles more easily; grouping can make traffic planning less complicated, e.g. it reduces the number of agents that need to be considered while traffic planning. However, grouping is not well investigated in shared spaces given the dynamic environment and interactions in mixed traffic. In this paper, we apply a dynamic facility location algorithm based on appearance time, origin, and destination of road users before crossing a junction to explore an appropriate grouping strategy in shared spaces, in order to improve the safety and efficiency of traffic.

The way that a motor adaptation is trained, for example, the manner in which it is introduced or the duration of the training period, can influence its internal representation. However, recent studies examining the gradual versus abrupt introduction of a novel environment have produced conflicting results. Here we examined how these effects determine the effector specificity of motor adaptation during visually guided reaching. After adaptation to velocity-dependent dynamics in the right arm, we estimated the amount of adaptation transferred to the left arm, using error-clamp measurement trials to directly measure changes in learned dynamics. We found that a small but significant amount of generalization to the untrained arm occurs under three different training schedules: a short-duration (15 trials) abrupt presentation, a long-duration (160 trials) abrupt presentation, and a long-duration gradual presentation of the novel dynamic environment. Remarkably, we found essentially no difference between the amount of interlimb generalization when comparing these schedules, with 9–12% transfer of the trained adaptation for all three. However, the duration of training had a pronounced effect on the stability of the interlimb transfer: The transfer elicited from short-duration training decayed rapidly, whereas the transfer from both long-duration training schedules was considerably more persistent (<50% vs. >90% retention over the first 20 trials). These results indicate that the amount of interlimb transfer is similar for gradual versus abrupt training and that interlimb transfer of learned dynamics can occur after even a brief training period but longer training is required for an enduring effect.

Organizational capabilities play an important role in managing and developing its resources to sustain in the highly dynamic environment. Building right organizational capabilities will help the organizations in retaining the right talent and creating an innovative climate in the organization. The paper aims to develop a conceptual model by linking organizational capabilities, innovative climate and talent retention. To frame a conceptual model author did an extensive review literature that revealed the relative dimensions under the variables of organizational capabilities, innovative climate and talent retention. The revealed dimensions used for framing a conceptual model to understand the influence of organizational capabilities on innovative climate and talent retention. The study revealed that to retain talented employees organizations must provide innovative climate and build right capabilities in the organization to sustain in the highly dynamic and competitive environment.

This paper examines various social problems in society often occur. In interacting with the community, like it or not, like it or not, intentionally or unintentionally it often happens that the offense and hurt hurt. The Prophet Muhammad as the messenger of Allah who was sent to perfect morality has set examples in navigating life in the world, especially in social matters. Evidently Rosul SAW has built a civil society in Medina. The examples of the Prophet Muhammad who I adopted in this article are the prohibition of whispering together without regard to the third, the ethics of visiting, greeting, giving the right of road users and giving rights to neighbors. From these various themes, it is expected to be a learning so that in interacting with fellow human beings, a Muslim always prioritizes morality.


In the framework of this work, the main regulatory documents on this topic are analyzed. It is noted that the qualification requirements are not identical to the presence of a document confirming the right to drive a vehicle. Qualification requirements are the requirements for the knowledge, skills, and professional skills of the driver. A legal conflict was established for drivers who received a driver’s license earlier than 12/12/2014: the presence of a Russian national driver’s license of the corresponding category makes it possible to speak of non-compliance with professional requirements, and in turn, the lack of knowledge, skills and professional skills in working with various types of tachographs clearly indicates a mismatch with qualifications requirements. It is noted that to confirm the availability of skills, professional skills in working with various types of tachographs to persons who have received a driver’s license before 08/12/2014, only a document confirming training in the training program that meets the requirements of Order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation of January 17, 2012 No. 7 can be confirmed. Official statistics showed that more than half of level crossing accidents in Taiwan were caused by intrusion of road users violating the right-of-way of the railroad. Thus it is critical that addition measures be developed to prevent or mitigate the seriousness of intrusion incidences even though many warning facilities are already in place. In this paper we propose to use real-time crossing cite image to provide train drivers with more vital information than alarm signals. In addition, we also take advantage of the radio link capacity to display numerical information of train distance on the fly to deter potential intrusion attempts. The result of this project can be used as reference design for the augmentation of level crossing safety of rail systems facing similar intrusion problems.

<em>Teransportasi is the most important means in a country, the development or absence of a country can be measured from the progress teransportasi existing in a conutry, the problems that many occur in Indonesia is a high traffic accident level, especially at the intersections of every road in Indonesia.Accidents are accidental or unexpected events that result in death, injury, or damage to objects. The outline of the accident is caused by four factors, namely human, vehicle, road and environment.TRAFFIC CONFLICT TECHNIQUE (TCT) is a method of observation conducted by collecting accidents that almost happened and see the pettern of the occurrence of accidents. Traffic Conflict Technique (TCT) developed by Departeman of traffic planning and engineering di Lund University di Swedia. Time to Accident (TA) is the time left since evasive action is done until the time of the collision if the road users do not change the speed of the vehicle and does not change the direction of the speed of the vehicle. The TA value is calculated based on the estimated distance (D) and vehicle speed (V) obtained from the survey results.After doing research with TCT method, it is found that the location of the research has the potential to couse an accident.In other words, this method can be used to improve the safety and comfort of road users, can provide a picture of the point of conflict at the intersection of a potential cause of accidents.</em>

The world is paying more and more attention to the safety of vulnerable road users, and especially the safety of pedestrians. The reason for that is the large representation of vulnerable participants in the total number of victims in traffic accidents. Belgrade stood out as especially unsafe for pedestrians, because their endangerment is higher than the world average, but also higher than in the rest of Serbia. In order to increase the safety of pedestrians, appropriate management measures are applied, which are, as a rule, based on the recognized influencing factors of the occurrence of these accidents. For that reason, it is extremely important to define the real influencing factors in the right way. One of the best tools for recognizing the impact of road factors is the independent assessment of the impact of the road on accidents, which the road manager, according to the Law, is obliged to conduct in the event of a traffic accident with fatalities. The paper analyzes 59 traffic accidents with dead pedestrians, which occurred in the period from 15.05.2019. to 06/02/2021 years on the territory of the city of Belgrade and for which an independent assessment of the impact of the road was conducted. The results indicate that the road factor had an impact on the occurrence of more than half of the traffic accidents with dead pedestrians. Also, the results indicate the existence of a number of different influencing factors, which indicates the need for further implementation of these analyzes. The paper presents characteristic examples of the most commonly identified influencing factors.

This article deals with different strategies for group development in a virtual learning environment (VLE). For this purpose, we sought to investigate the organization and social interactions of students, during group dynamics that occurred in a distance education course. The methodology used in the research was qualitative and quantitative, with descriptive approach, classified as a case study. For data collection, we used the VLE ROODA communication tools (Forum, Contacts and Social Map), the environmental sociometry tool (Social Map), as well as participant observation and questionnaires. Thus, we analyzed the application of three group-formation strategies: random, chosen by the teacher and free choice. Interaction data categorization occurred within the virtual learning environment and was accomplished through the group development stages suggested by McClure. This study allowed us to determine that all three strategies are efficient for distance education, as long as the right time in class for the application of the strategy by the teacher is observed. This study aimed to elucidate the importance of using group work in distance education, especially for integrating students and enabling a greater number of social interactions in the virtual environment. Thus, the results confirm that the use of formation strategies can be effective for Distance Education, since the development of collective activities depends on cohesion and the mediation of conflicts between members of the group.

Strategic Risk Measures in Road Traffic Strategic risk is a long-term risk which forms part of long-term decisions taken by organisations which manage road safety in a specific area. The strategic risk on a country's road network is the uncertainty about the strategic goal which is to protect road users from death and injury. When estimating risk in traffic engineering it is important to use the right measures of risk and methods for calculating or forecasting risk. The paper presents an analysis of macro level measures of strategic risk in road traffic.
