The article is dedicated to the relevant issues of neuroeducation in the system of vocational education. The article aims to reflect on the results of neuroscience integration into university practice, including professional terminology teaching. Notably, for the first time the possibility of forming professional thinking among university students based on knowledge about mechanisms of brain functioning during concepts acquisition (brain-based learning) was analyzed. The article shows that new words (terms) acquisition and understanding is based on neural systems that are responsible for processes of perception, attention, memory and executive functions, as well as reward and motivational states. Moreover, the importance of addressing the specifics of professional terminology, abstract and concrete concepts, during the acquisition process is stated. The difference between research directions in different countries was revealed during the study of neuroeducation: Russian scientists are focused more on personalized neuroeducational technologies and on the development of neurodidactics methods; scientists abroad aim to develop a unified methodology of neuroeducation and find evidence of the efficiency of teaching methods based on knowledge about brain functioning. The authors of the artcile believe that improving teachers’ competence in the field of neurobiology in order to avoid the prevalence of neuromyphs and to increase the efficiency of the learning process is important. The data given in the article may be useful to university teachers in organizing the educational process.

The modern sociocultural environment puts forward requirements for ensuring equal opportunities for vocational education for active members of the society. The established requirements for the organization of the educational process in mixed groups, including normo-typical students and students with disabilities, indicate the need to search for new methodological approaches to ensure the successful implementation of vocational education. The article highlights the problem of choosing didactic components of practice-oriented content for teaching students with disabilities. The aim of the work was to identify the principles of new didactics, which make it possible to adapt the structure of basic design education to the special educational needs of students and to optimally organize educational activities in a mixed group without losing the quality of professional development and an increase in general competencies. The article provides some of the fundamental meanings of design practice, which make it possible to find permits for the introduction of inclusive methods in the system of special-purpose training programs. The approaches to the formulation of combined tasks are disclosed that allow the variability of equivalent design solutions of different levels of complexity. New approaches to the choice of methodological and didactic techniques were determined in the course of a pedagogical experiment, using elements of a longitudinal study. The author gives examples from the experience of training students in secondary vocational education in mixed groups, points out aspects that have a particular impact on the achievement of equal positive results by students, names the methods of formulating practical tasks that minimize the difference in time spent by students with different abilities. The conclusion about a sufficient basis for the chosen direction of methodological and didactic support was made on the basis of signs of positive dynamics of mastering the techniques of project design activity by students with disabilities.

Today, an urgent problem for applicants and employers is to obtain complete and reliable information about the quality of training of students by educational organizations of various levels, including secondary vocational education. One of the most demanded tools is an independent assessment of the quality of education and the creation of ratings of educational organizations. Of interest are the ratings generated by employers, which do not assess formal signs of compliance of the conditions for the implementation of the educational process with regulatory requirements, but include indicators that allow assessing the level of graduates ‘compliance with employers' requirements and the demand for graduates in the transport industry. The All-Russian Industry Association of Railway Transport Employers (Zheldortrans) this year for the first time held a rating of educational organizations that implement programs of secondary vocational education in railway specialties. This rating included the main indicators that allow assessing the quality of personnel training for railway transport enterprises. Information about the goals and criteria of rating formation, as well as its results is provided. According to the results of the work of the expert commission, formed from representatives of Zheldor-trans and the Russian Railways holding, the Chelyabinsk Institute of Railways, a branch of the Ural State University of Railways, was recognized as the best educational organization that implements training programs for specialists in secondary vocational education in the areas of rail transport.

This chapter traces the developments of various terms denoting “others” in biblical literature. In much of the biblical corpus, Israel is still one goy among many, and the difference between it and its Others is neither binary nor stable. After a brief analysis of the dynamics of familial and ethnwic separations in Genesis and Exodus, this chapter concentrates on the priestly and Deuteronomistic modes of separating peoples, examines the novelty and limitedness of the Deuteronomistic legislation, where the nokhri (stranger) is systematically contrasted for the first time with the Israelite (referred to as “your brother”), and follows the various modes of separations and their rationales.

AbstractDacus dorsalis Hend. infested eleven, D. cucurbitae Coq. five and D. umbrosus F. two of the eighteen common fruits and vegetables grown in Penang, West Malaysia. D. tau (Wlk.) infested bacang (Mangifera foetida), D. caudatus F. chilli (Capsicum annuum) and D. frauenfeldi Schin. water guava (Eugenia javanica), together with D. dorsalis. Pomelo (Citrus grandis) was found infested for the first time by D. cucurbitae. No flies were trapped using Capilure and trimedlure as baits. Cue-lure attracted D. caudatus, D. cucurbitae, D. frauenfeldi, D. occipitalis (Bez.) and D. tau. Methyl eugenol attracted D. dorsalis and D. umbrosus. Dorsalure was less attractive to D. caudatus and D. dorsalis than cue-lure and methyl eugenol, respectively, but it was equally attractive to D. frauenfeldi as cue-lure. Using traps baited with cue-lure or methyl eugenol in five ecosystems, the highest numbers of males of D. dorsalis, D. umbrosus, D. frauenfeldi and D. caudatus trapped were from a village, on a vegetable farm for D. cucurbitae, and D. occipitalis was only caught in a forest. Analysis showed that for each species of Dacus the difference between ecosystems was highly significant. The few examples caught in grassland were probably migrants.

Separation by implemented oxygen (SIMOX)(111) substrates have been formed by oxygen-ion (16O+) implantation into Si(111), showing that a so-called “dose-window” at 16O+-implantation into Si differs from Si(100) to Si(111). In SIMOX(100), an oxygen dose of 4 × 1017/cm2 into Si(100) is widely recognized as the dose-window when the acceleration energy is 180 keV. For the first time, our work shows that an oxygen dose of 5 × 1017/cm2 into Si(111) is the dose-window for the formation of SIMOX(111) substrates when the acceleration energy is 180 keV. The difference between dose-windows is caused by anisotropy of the crystal orientation during growth of the faceted buried SiO2. We also numerically analyzed the data at different oxidation velocities for each facet of the polyhedral SiO2 islands. Numerical analysis results show good agreement with the experimental data.

We have applied the 45° reflectometry for the first time to study exciton-polaritons in quantum wells. The 45° reflectometry is a new polarization-modulation technique, which is based on the measurement of the difference [Formula: see text] between the p-polarization reflectivity (Rp) and the squared s-polarization reflectivity [Formula: see text] at an angle of incidence of 45°. We show that [Formula: see text] spectra may provide qualitatively new information on the exciton-polariton modes in a quantum well. These optical spectra turn out to be very sensitive to the zeros of the dielectric function along the quantum-well growth direction and, therefore, allow to identify the resonances associated with the Z exciton-polariton mode. We demonstrate that 45° reflectometry could be a powerful tool for studying Z exciton-polariton modes in near-surface quantum wells, which are difficult to observe in simple spectra of reflectivity Rp
