<p>Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to investigate about time management effect on the relationship between knowledge management and organization performance. Design/methodology/approach: The paper contains a comparative analysis of relevant literature from the fields of knowledge management, time management and organization performance, conducted between 2007 and 2015. The research was conducted on a sample of 42 non-profit organizations (24 National and 18 International) we collected the data through a questionnaire that was given to the Monitoring and development department. Findings: The research results reached to the idea that Time Management really plays a strong role to strengthen the relationship between Knowledge Management and Organization Performance dimensions, but not all dimensions, only the standard dimensions (Internal business process, Learning and growth and the Sustainability), but on the non-standard dimension we used which is: the increase or the decrease on the percentage of the affected population who receive services from the organizations, the result is on the opposite side. Also it reached to the result that the organization nationality affects the relationship between knowledge management and the performance management. Originality/value: The paper ranks among the first to search for convergences between International and National non-profit organizations that seem firmly divided in both theoretical and institutional aspects.</p>

The basic objective of this research study is to determine the impact Performance Management (PM) has on the overall performance of the organizations in the education sector of Pakistan. The study also seeks to explore the role of Knowledge Management Process Capabilities (KMPC) by Gold, Malhotra, & Segars (2001) acting as a mediator on the relationship between Performance Management (PM) and Organizational Performance (OP). Research methodology based on the quantitative approach uses a multi-itemed questionnaire to collect the data. The data reliability is tested using Cronbach Alpha and in addition to the regression, correlation analysis, and the Baron and Kenny mediation procedure. The result of the study indicates the presence of a relationship between PM and OP being partially mediated by KMPC. Knowledge management (KM) needs to focus and be linked with PM when positive results are expected to be delivered by the organization in the form of improved performance. KM process seeks to identify and explain the mechanism or process underlies the relationship between PM and OP and hence needs to be embedded within the PM cycle which applies to the overall performance of the organization.

Unlike non-profit organizations, social enterprises must be sustainable through profit-making activities in order to pursue social purposes.However, the most important of the poor limited resources is also human resources, and for the efficient use of human resources, empowerment should be given to members. This study proves whether job engagement mediates the effect on sustainability when psychological empowerment is given to employees in social enterprises.

This study aimed to verify the impact of servant leadership on innovative behaviour in non-governmental organisations (NGOs). It particularly investigated the role of a mediator for self-efficacy in the relationship between servant leadership and innovative behaviour. This study defined the organisational psychology-behaviour mechanism in non-profit organisations by verifying the moderated mediating effect of vocational calling in the relationship between servant leadership, self-efficacy, and innovative behaviour. The 174 pilot samples used in this study comprised community service participants in NGOs. The analysis verified the hypothesis set through causal correlations among four variables using regression analysis and the PROCESS macro developed by Hayes. Vocational calling played a moderating role in the relationship between servant leadership and self-efficacy, and vocational calling had a conditional effect on the impact of servant leadership on innovative behaviour through self-efficacy. Meanwhile, self-efficacy fully mediated servant leadership and innovative behaviour. Based on the verification of the mechanism of organisational psychology-action, this study sought ways to develop the organisation of NGOs and improve the working environment.

The literature suggests that innovation allows organizations to reach a desirable level of sustainability. There is evidence to support the role of knowledge management (KM) as well as management capability (MC) in producing a sustainable approach at organizations. Furthermore, organizations commonly achieve sustainable practices through corporate social responsibility (CSR). In particular, the health sector is increasingly implementing CSR strategies, although with a narrow understanding of the factors to success. Hence, trends lead to asymmetric growth between organizations. This study aims to examine the mediating role of KM in the relationship between MC and innovative performance (IP) in 331 Health Provider Institutions (HPIs). The research reflective model was assessed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). According to the results, MC has a positive effect on IP, MC has a positive effect on KM, and KM has a positive effect on IP. Likewise, KM significantly mediates the relationship between MC and IP. Our findings support the importance of KM in addressing MCs in HPIs as it enables innovative practices to address CSR goals to achieve a sustainable impact. Moreover, this study contributes by expanding KM to contexts that are not usually studied, such as health in a South American country.

The article is devoted to assessing the effect of the implementation of information technologies in non-profit organizations. The purpose of the assessment is to evaluate the effect of IT implementation and its impact on key performance indicators of an organization. The indicators characterizing the results of the organization’s activities in accordance with the State Assignment and the results of commercial activities were used as the key performance indicators. For federal state budget NPOs, it has been shown that a positive IT effect for auxiliary business processes does not directly ensure positive performance indicators for the core business processes. Hidden effects of the use of IT were assessed by changes of the indicators of the core business processes. Performance indicators characterizing the results of commercial activities may demonstrate a negative effect. Understanding the specifics of non-profit organizations, as well as metrics and performance parameters characterizing the effectiveness of such organizations, is important to ensure a correct approach to the digitalization of business processes and their performance management.

The current manner of evaluating the state and capabilities of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces is gradually losing its relevance and partially deviates from the contemporary trends, which is why the paper singles out a special research problem, aimed at overcoming the traditional understanding of performance management, i.e. gradual introduction of the performance management process into the defense system. Taking into consideration the complexity of the mentioned research problem and the current level of the development of the defense system of the Republic of Serbia, the subject of the research is based on the possibility of considering the implementation of the performance management process of non-profit organizations within the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces. In this regard, the paper starts from the hypothetical view that certain elements of the performance management model of non-profit organizations can be successfully implemented within the defense system. The objective of this paper is to point out the possibility of developing similar solutions in the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces through the presentation of a strategic map and the dashboard of the performance management model of non-profit organizations, with a brief overview of the defense systems of some foreign countries. By the implementation of the method of content analysis, focused on the comparative analysis of the considered models, the research results have confirmed the set hypothetical framework. The paper concludes that there are the objective possibilities for the implementation of the performance management process of non-profit organizations within the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces.

Non-profit organizations engaged in environmental issues has been increasingly recognized by many people. The success of non-profit organizations that pursued by increasing the positive image obtained from media relations. This study aimed to analyze the strategy of Public Relations (PR) WWF-Indonesia in improving the image of the organization. This study was conducted with a quantitative approach and qualitative approach. The method used is survay on two student organizations Bogor Agricultural University who worked with WWF-Indonesia, they are from Fisheries Diving Club (FDC) and the Association of Student Interest in Sciences of Communication and Community Development (HIMASIERA). Data analysis included Spearman Rank test and Chi Square used to look at the relationship between PR strategy with the image of a non-profit organization. The results of the study, namely: 1) there is a relationship between individual characteristics with the image of a company that is formed; 2) there is a relationship between the public relation activities undertaken by the company's image.Keywords: environmental issue, media relation, student organizations ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ABSTRAKOrganisasi nirlaba yang bergerak di isu-isu lingkungan telah semakin diakui oleh banyak orang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi hubungan masyarakat WWF-Indonesia dalam meningkatkan citra organisasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah survai pada dua organisasi mahasiswa Institut Pertanian Bogor yang bekerja dengan WWF-Indonesia yang berasal dari Fisheries Diving Club (FDC) dan Asosiasi Mahasiswa Peminat Ilmu Komunikasi dan Pengembangan Masyarakat (HIMASIERA). Analisis data termasuk uji Rank Spearman dan Chi Square, digunakan untuk melihat hubungan antara strategi PR dengan citra sebuah organisasi nirlaba. Hasil studi, yaitu: 1) terdapat hubungan antara karakteristik individu dengan citra perusahaan yang terbentuk; 2) ada hubungan antara kegiatan hubungan masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh citra perusahaan.Kata kunci: isu lingkungan, hubungan media, organisasi mahasiswa

This chapter introduces the relationship between human resource development (HRD) practices and employees' job satisfaction. Employees' job satisfactions have gained tremendous attentions from scholars in organizational study and special focus are given into searching the answer to understand why some people are more satisfied with their jobs than others. In this chapter, the definition and importance of job satisfaction is first discussed followed by exploring HRD theories and models through relevant literature review. Lastly, the relationship between job satisfaction and the four elements of human resource development: i) Training and development; ii) Organization development; iii) Career development; and iv) Performance management are discussed and developing of a conceptual framework.

This study aims to identify the influence of knowledge management practices on the entrepreneurial and organizational performance with the mediating effect of dynamic capabilities and moderating role of opportunity recognition. Data were gathered from 486 entrepreneurs and applied a structural equation model to test the hypotheses. We found that knowledge management practices have a positive and significant influence on dynamic capabilities, as well as have a significant impact on entrepreneurial and organizational performance. Moreover, results indicated that dynamic capabilities partially mediate in the relationship between knowledge management practices on entrepreneurial and organizational performance. Furthermore, the relationship between knowledge management practices with entrepreneurial and organizational performance strengthening by opportunity recognition. Further, implications and limitations were discussed in the paper.
