The respondents are the achievers from junior high and senior high and consist of overall respondents of 145 respondents. To treat the data, the researcher used a statistical test the weighted mean, chi – square to determine the relationship of the two variables. The study revealed that parents do not always provided a motivation to their students most of the parents sometimes give a motivation to their student. However, the achievements of students are still in high level. The achievements of students do not always depend on their parents’ motivation yet their achievement is based on their personality of being determined and consistent in their studies. Problem solving attitude is one of the most important aspect of the students in handling problems that they encountered. Meanwhile, critical thinking ability is also an important skill of the students in dealing and analyzing the problems and to it appropriately. The study used descriptive correlation design to determine the relationship between problem solving attitude and critical thinking ability of the students. The study has 240 respondents from the different strands (ABM, HUMSS, GAS, TVL and STEM) in certain senior high school: Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines. The tool used in this study in getting the information and data collection is rating scale questionnaire. All the data are analyzed using weighted mean and chi-square to show the result. The result shows that the problem solving attitude is significantly associated to the critical thinking ability of the students. Students who have high level of problem solving attitude will become successful ones someday, because they don’t get affected in their problems instead, they solved it right away with their critical thinking. Students' critical thinking ability is very useful in solving and analyzing their problems.

PT. Ispat Wire Products is a company that utilizes various machines in its operation and generate high level ofnoise intensity. This situation may eventually affect the health of workers, especially in relation to the hearingthreshold value. Therefore it is necessaryto launch an investigative inquiries on the relationship of individual'scharacteristics such as age, years of service and use of hearing protection devices with the threshold hearingamong noise-exposed workers. This type of analytical study involved with a sample of 60 workers. Sampling was done by simple randomsampling, while the chi-square test was used in the analysis to determine the relationship of individual'scharacteristics with the threshold hearing level among noise-exposedworkers using.Measurements resulted in an average noise intensity of 96.8 dBA. The measured threshold value exceededthe specified figure designated in the Minister of Manpower Decree No. 51/Men/1999, which designated avalue of 85 dBA for 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week. Results of the chi-square test proved the relationshipbetween individual's characteristics including age, years of service and usage of PPDwith hearing thresholdamong noise-exposed workers. Therefore, it was recommended that the company should initiate both noise control engineering andadministrative measures, and set local regulation designating penalties against workers who violated theprovisions of the company.

To find the relationship between the history of acute respiratory infections and diarrhea with the nutritional status of children. Subject and Method. Subject were 47 of children 1-5 years old in Posyandu Kusuma at Palur Village. This research was observational analytic and correlation design with cross sectional method. Sampling by accidental sampling. The data obtained were analyzed using the Chi Square test.Result. The children with a history of diarrhea were  8 (17%), 39 with no history of diarrhea (83%), 16 with history of acute respiratory infections (34%), 31 with no history of acute respiratory infections (66%). The Childrens with good nutritional status were 34 (72.3%), 13 underweight nutritional status (27.7%). The results showed that the relationship of diarrhea history obtained p = 0.001 and a history of Acute Respiratory Infections obtained p = 0.693 to nutritional status.Conclusion. History of diarrhea has a significant relationship with the nutritional status of children (p=0.001) and a history of acute respiratory infections has no relationship with the nutritional status of children (p=0.693).Keywords : diarrhea, history of acute respiratory infections, nutritional status.Korespondensi: Ratna Indriati. The instrument used for the data collection was a quantitative survey using Likert scale to gather the needed data the researcher adopted a questionnaire from Rosenberg (1965). The data was analyzed through use of weighted mean and chi-square for determining the significant association between the number of friends in school and the level of self-confidence of the students. The findings of the study showed that there was no significant association between the number of friends in school and the level of self-confidence of the students. Generally, having a low or high number of friends does not seem to affect the student's self-confidence.

Data is collected with the distribution of MARS questionnaires. Statistical analysis used was cross tabulation analysis with Pearson Chi Square correlation test. The results of the study showed that the level of adherence of PLWHA taking ARV drugs with a high level of adherence was 75 PLWHA (69%), the level of adherence was 34 PLWHA (31%). There was no significant correlation between adherence to taking ARV drugs with the demographic characteristics of respondents with p > 0.05 . Based on this study it was concluded that PLWHA in Mutu Manikam VCT Ward Dr. H. Moch Ansari Saleh Hospital Banjarmasin has a high level of adherence taking ARV drugs. Umbilical cord care is one treatment procedure that aims to treat the umbilical cord in newborns to keep it dry and prevent infection. Improper treatment of the umbilical cord in an infant will experience an infectious disease. This study uses a correlation design with a cross sectional approach is something that connects / analyzes the variables that aim to determine the relationship of umbilical cord care with the incidence of infection in newborns (BBL) in RSUD Dr. Pirngadi Hospital Medan 2018, with a sample of 35 respondents. The instruments included demographic data, 20 umbilical cord care questionnaires and observation sheets for infection. Based on the results of this study, the majority of people doing good umbilical cord care (score 14-20) as many as 30 (85.7%) while the minority of respondents doing umbilical cord care enough (score 7-13) as many as 5 people (14.2%). the majority did not experience an infection score of 0 (zero) as many as 33 people (94.3%) and the minority experienced infection score 1-5 as many as 2 people (5.7%). Based on Chi Square test, p = 0.017 <0.05 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows a relationship between cord care and the incidence of infection in newborns (BBL). It is expected that nurses to carry out umbilical cord care measures more effectively in accordance with the SOP so as to avoid the number of infections in newborns and the next researcher makes an observation sheet in measuring cord care performed by nurses.

In the current era of globalization, humans always interact with technological developments. One result of the development of technology is the use of computers. The use of computers that are not under the ergonomic position causes effects on health, one of them is tension-type headaches. In the United States, 1-4% of patients coming to the Emergency Care Unit complain of headache, 90% of them are tension-type headaches. The proportion of migraine and other headache syndromes in the hospital. Harapan Bunda in 2011 and RS. Camatha Sahidya in Batam in Batam was 5% and 0.7% respectively. Whereas the incidence of tension headaches in 5 puskesmas in Batam in 2014 ranged from 0.5% - 1.3%. The proportion of tension headaches at the BIP Clinic in the January-April 2018 period is 1.5%. Tension-type headaches that occur continuously can cause barriers to daily activities. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of computer use with the incidence of tension-type headaches in workers. This research uses a descriptive-analytic method with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Of 97 respondents who visited the clinical BIP that met the criteria, it was found that computer user respondents experienced tension-type headaches of 18 people (42.9%) and not tension-type headaches of 24 people (57.1%). Whereas the respondents who were not computer users experienced tension-type headaches of 10 people (18.2%), and non-tension-type headaches of 45 people (81.8%). Bivariate chi-square analysis showed that p = 0.008 (p <0.05). This means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.
