Family can inspire the child to perform well in school. When the students belong to a complete family they can gain more confidence to do the task. Students who have complete family can be encouraged themselves to produce positive learning style in their studies. When the student belongs to a broken family the set of behaviors can be different towards certain task. Using the correlation quantitative design, the study was conducted in the Jagobiao National High School-Senior High Department in which the data were treated with chi-square to determine the relationship between family status and self-motivation. As a result, family status and self-motivation has no significant correlation in studies of any students, self-motivation exist regardless of family status, broken and complete. The motivation of student deals with their innate behavior and attitude to achieve better academic performance.

Problem solving attitude is one of the most important aspect of the students in handling problems that they encountered. Meanwhile, critical thinking ability is also an important skill of the students in dealing and analyzing the problems and to it appropriately. The study used descriptive correlation design to determine the relationship between problem solving attitude and critical thinking ability of the students. The study has 240 respondents from the different strands (ABM, HUMSS, GAS, TVL and STEM) in certain senior high school: Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines. The tool used in this study in getting the information and data collection is rating scale questionnaire. All the data are analyzed using weighted mean and chi-square to show the result. The result shows that the problem solving attitude is significantly associated to the critical thinking ability of the students. Students who have high level of problem solving attitude will become successful ones someday, because they don’t get affected in their problems instead, they solved it right away with their critical thinking. Students' critical thinking ability is very useful in solving and analyzing their problems.

The study intends to assess the level of parental motivation and achievers of junior high and senior high. Parental motivation is given by the parents towards their students to make them work harder or being determine their studies that leads them to have better achievements in school. The checklist is made up of two parts, parental motivation and the level of achievement. The research was a quantitative correlation design. The respondents are the achievers from junior high and senior high and consist of overall respondents of 145 respondents. To treat the data, the researcher used a statistical test the weighted mean, chi – square to determine the relationship of the two variables. The study revealed that parents do not always provided a motivation to their students most of the parents sometimes give a motivation to their student. However, the achievements of students are still in high level. The achievements of students do not always depend on their parents’ motivation yet their achievement is based on their personality of being determined and consistent in their studies. Not all the time that the motivation of parents can enhance the educational achievements of students.

A belief in one’s capability to do and perform the task well is referred to as self-confidence. Meanwhile, oral recitation is a form of speaking in front of other people to report information. Hence, this study was conducted in Jagobiao National High School- Senior High School Department. The researcher-made likert scale questionnaire was used to assess the students from the different strands, aimed to know the students’ confidence regarding their oral recitation performance and students’ confidence before and after they perform oral recitations. Moreover, the quantitative data were analyzed through weighted mean and paired samples t-test. In which, the result shows improvement of students’ confidence after ten or more times of performing oral recitations due to their intensive oral participation. It means that when a student is highly confident then she or he is able to perform the oral participation efficiently. Thus, it revealed that there is a significant difference between students’ confidence before and after oral recitations. In this study, suggestions were provided to students such as engaging in different activities that could enhance their confidence in all aspect and to the teachers and parents who need to help the students to perform well in school with self-confidence.

This article reveals the features of the development of self-esteem and achievement motivation in older adolescents. Adolescence is considered a crisis period in human ontogenesis. In modern studies, there is a steady increase in the formation of unfavorable personality traits in adolescents. At this age, problems with self-esteem of the individual are more common, since the teenager's interest in himself, his self-perception and the need to understand himself are activated by the processes of puberty and psycho-physiological changes. The danger of this tendency for the future generation lies in the fact that inadequate self-esteem can cause the development of insecurity, complexes, anxiety, aggression, and can also act as a factor in suicidal behavior of adolescents. It should be noted that for many years Kazakhstan has been among the ten countries in the world in terms of the number of suicides among adolescents and youth. In modern socio-economic conditions, it is especially important to achieve a high level of development of a teenager's personality, and the formation of such qualities as self-confidence, motivation to achieve success. Therefore, the study of the relationship between self-esteem and the motivation for achieving success of the younger generation, along with modern social and revolutionary changes, is one of the urgent problems. The article presents an analysis of the results of an empirical study, the purpose of which was to identify the relationship between self-esteem and motivation for achieving success in adolescents. To achieve the goal of the study, the following psychodiagnostic methods were used: the method of G.N.Kazantseva "Study of general self-esteem"; the method of A. A. Rean "Motivation for success and fear of failure". The results suggest that there is a close positive relationship between self-esteem and achievement motivation in adolescents

The aim of this research was to establish a relation between self-confidence and self-concept, on the one hand, and the performance of the apparatus elements and the floor routine, on the other. The research included 29 subjects, aged 20 to 27, with the average age of the subjects being 21 years old (M= 21.16, SD= 1.54). The following measurement instruments were used: RSES (Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale) and SC-6, as well as the evaluation of the performance of the floor exercises (side-to-side and front-to-back cartwheel, roundoff, front and back handspring, forward and backward flip) and a vault (squat through on the vault and straddle vault with pre-flight, front handspring on vault, roundoff vault) and with the apparatus: the high bar (uprise on bars with legs together, kip, front mill circle, back circle, underswing dismount) and the parallel bars (swing, forward roll, back roll, shoulder stand, front toss dismount, back toss dismount) by a three-member committee. The results showed that Rosenberg’s confidence scale produced statistically significant correlations with all the remaining subscales of moderate or high intensity, and the highest one with the scale of the self-concept (rs= .73), while the lowest one with the scale related to the performance of gymnastic elements on the apparatus (rs = .45) (Cohen, 1988 according to Cumming, 2012). In contrast to this scale, the scale of the self-concept is in statistically significant correlation with the gymnastic elements (rs = .61) on the floor and the vault, while the statistically significant correlation of this scale is missing with the gymnastic elements on the apparatus. It can be concluded that a high level of confidence in one’s own abilities through the entire training period enabled a better access to learning, repetition and, finally, the demonstration of the selected gymnastics elements, while the level of general satisfaction was not a decisive factor in the process.

The purpose of this research was to analyze the relationship between dating violence and the social media. A sample of 400 university students from both private and public institutions of Mexico City was selected. From these sample, 46.6% were men and 52.4% women, with an age range of 16-29. Two scales were used to evaluate, the first one corresponds to violence in dating and the second scale to violence in dating through social media. Both instruments are Likert scale with response options ranging from strongly disagree to strongly agree. A pilot test was used to evaluate the usefulness of the instrument and its validness and reliability. Statistical analysis of Chronback alpha and factor analysis of the scales were used. In the reliability analysis appropriate values for both scales were obtained, which means that there was an appropriate relationship between the reagents with the scales proposed in general. To analyze the relationship between intimate partner violence and intimate partner violence on social media crosstabs were performed with analysis chi square, the results showed significant differences between dating violence and intimate partner violence on social media on significance levels. Thus, the relationship between intimate partner violence and intimate partner violence on social media showed that in a low (high) level of violence there is also a low (high) level of violence in social media likewise in a severe level of intimate partner violence the level of violence involving social media is also severe.
