This study aimed to examine career and academic outcome expectations of high school students. Data of the research designed in the survey model were collected from 695 students attending ninth to twelfth grades of high schools that offer academic and vocational education in city center of Niğde in the Central Anatolian Region of Turkey in the academic year of 2018-2019. 56% of the participants are female and 44% are male. The measures used in the research are academic outcome (5 items) and career outcome (4 items) expectation subscales of the Career Outcome Expectations and Exploration Intentions Scale developed by Betz and Voyten (1997) and adapted into Turkish language by Büyükgöze-Kavas (2011) and the Personal Information Form developed by the researcher. Independent groups t-test and one-way ANOVA analysis techniques were utilized in data analysis. It was found in the data analysis that high school students’ scores of career and academic outcome expectations differed significantly by gender, type of school, and grade level. While girls were found to have higher mean scores of career and academic outcome expectations than boys, the students of Anatolian High School that provides academic education had higher mean scores of career and academic outcome expectations than the vocational high school students. Furthermore, ninth-grade students were found to have higher mean scores of career and academic outcome expectations than other grade levels.

The investigation includes 376 students who are in 9. , 10, and 11. grades who study in Samsun Fatma Çavuş Vocational and Technical High School. As a data collection tool ‘personal information form’ and ‘Leisure Constraints Questionnaire-18’. It is used descriptive scanning model in this study. For the relation of statistical analysis, versatile variance analysis; for detecting the difference test of LSD and test of χ² was used. The data obtained from the scale in the research were analyzed by means of SPSS 21.0 statistical software program. In both age groups and grade levels a remarkable difference was monitored in total points (EG: 2,9- GL: 3,43) and subscale of individual psychology (EG: 4,65- GL: 4,17) and establishing (EG: 3,77- GL: 7,35). However, there is no significant difference when examined according to participation in open space activities (p>0.05).As a result, the participation to recreative activities of high school students is affected by varied factors in accordance with their age and grade level. The majority of the students sometimes have great difficulty in their leisure time activities. Elimination of these barriers/difficulties will be useful.

This research looks at listening as one factor that gives contribution toward speaking among high school students. The study attempts to reveal through data analysis, in the form of students. score from each variable that both have correlation. Further the objective of the study is also to find out the extent of influence contributed by listening toward speaking. The research applies library study and field study (instrument designing and test performing both for listening and speaking). The theory used for analysis deals with listening and speaking correlation from language learning review. The result of the study demonstrates that the correlation of listening as the independent variable with speaking as dependent variable is positive. It also proves that with a unit of program or treatment given toward listening class, there will be a significant improvement equals with 3.134 times from previous speaking score for the same sample. For the analysis of data, the extent of correlation between two varibales is shown as low. It indicates that even though listening do have positive correlation towarde speaking, it is not the only deminant factor to determine success in speaking.

As part of this contribution, our objective is to analyze the punctuation defects of the Moroccan high school students to answer the following question: the punctuation marks mistakes not contribute to the misunderstanding and the textual opacity? The support that will be used as the basis for the data analysis is the written production. It is therefore crucial to identify and classify localized punctuation deviations in FFL high school students' copies. These errors are indicative of the problems of learning French in our subjects. Note that this aspect of language is often marginalized by teachers, although it contributes to textual cohesion. The results revealed that the punctuation remains uncontrolled. That is why it will be fruitful to propose some didactic remedies for future teachers. Keywords : textual flaws, French foreign language, punctuation, written production

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between attitudes towards physical activity and self-esteem of high school students. Three different scales were used on 626 adolescents in total who lived in Sivas, found by random sampling method. The first scale is “the Personal Information Scale” consisting of 6 items to determine the demographical characteristics of the participants; the second scale is “the Cognitive Behavioral Physical Activity Questionnaire (CBPA)”, which was developed by Schembre et al. (2015) and was adapted to Turkish by Eskiler et al. (2016) to determine the participants’ attitudes towards physical activity; and the last scale is “the Self-Esteem Scale” by Rosenberg (1965) and adapted to Turkish by Çuhadaroğlu (1985) to determine the levels of self-esteem of the participants. The study data was analyzed by SPSS 25 package software. The obtained data were represented as values of frequency (f), percentage (%), average (x-), and standard deviation (±). Pearson Correlation analysis was applied in order to determine the effect of physical activity attitudes on self-esteem. The age average of the participants was determined to be 16,28 (±0,97). The gender distribution was 312 females and 314 males, and the number of those who were participating in licensed sports was 336, and that of those who were not was 290. It was determined that there was a positive correlation between the participants’ attitude towards physical activity and their self-esteem. In conclusion, a positive correlation was found between the attitude towards physical activity and self-esteem. In the study, it was suggested that the tendencies towards physical activity should be protected.

It was aimed in this study to reveal and compare strategies of students of three types of high schools to cope with stress through leisure time. The research population consisted of high school students in Konya province, Turkey. The sample consisted of 280 male and 224 female vocational high school, Anatolian  high school and sports high school students. In the study, the Demographic Personal Information Form was used to collect personal information. The “Strategies to Cope with Stress through Leisure Time Scale” (SCSLTS) was used to identify the leisure time strategies. This scale was developed by Iwasaki and Mannell (2000). It was translated into Turkish, and its validity and reliability studies were conducted by Çevik, Özcan and Munusturlar (2018). No difference was found in the strategies of the students to cope with stress through leisure time according to the grade level, income, and maternal and paternal educational level factors. Statistical variations were observed based on the gender and sporting factors (p<.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the mood enhancement dimension depending on the school type factor. However, it was found that the mean scores of the vocational high school students in terms of the dimensions of leisure time friendship and temporary coping ability were higher than those of the students of the other schools, and these differences were also statistically significant (p<.05). The vocational high school students had higher mean scores in the leisure time strategies sub-dimension than the students of other schools. Accordingly, it can be said that the leisure time strategy scores may differ according to the school type and that the students receiving vocational education were more optimistic in determining leisure time strategies than the students of Anatolian high school and sports high school.
