This research is motivated by the problems in the field regarding the limited availability of learning media in facilitating early childhood logical thinking skills, especially recognizing differences in objects based on the size of the object's weight. The importance of the ability to think logically from an early age to prepare children to live their daily lives is inseparable from logical thinking. The purpose of this study is to develop learning media to facilitate early childhood analytical thinking skills. The method used in this research is the development method with the Educational Design Research (EDR) model of the McKenney and Reeves model, which has three stages of research: analysis and exploration, design and construction, and evaluation and reflection. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, questionnaires, and expert validation. The products that have been developed are then validated by media experts, material experts, and educational experts and then revised by researchers according to the validator's suggestions. Products that have been declared eligible to be tested based on the results of expert validation then tried twice on a limited basis on group B children in TK PGRI Karangmekar. The results of this study indicate that the developed media, namely balance scale media to facilitate early childhood logical thinking skills, is suitable for use in learning according to the results of expert validation, teacher responses, and student's ability to use balance scale media in learning in a limited trial.

One aspect of development that can be developed in early childhood through the field of early childhood education is the aspect of cognitive development. In the cognitive aspect there are capabilities that must be developed, namely the ability to think logically which can be developed through science learning methods for early childhood, one of them through science process skills, where children will learn experiments, explore, and identify the surrounding environment to build their own knowledge with curiosity high so that later it will be useful in his adult life. This research uses quantitative research methods using quasi-experimental research using a nonquivalent group design research design. This study aims to determine the effect of science process skills on children's logical thinking skills. Based on the results of the study it was found that the average gain of the experimental class was 76.14 while the average gain value of the control class was 5.60, which meant that the use of science process skills was effective to improve the logical thinking skills of early childhood. Therefore, this research is recommended to early childhood educators so that science process skills can be used as one of the lessons to improve children's logical thinking skills.Salah satu aspek perkembangan yang dapat dikembangankan pada anak usia dini melalui bidang pendidikan anak usia dini  adalah aspek perkembangannya kognitif. Dalam aspek kognitif terdapat kemampuan yang harus dikembangkan yaitu kemampuan berpikir logis yang dapat dikembangkan melalui metode pembelajaran sains untuk anak usia dini salah satunya melalui keterampilan proses sains, dimana anak akan belajar eksperimen, bereksplorasi, dan mengidentifikasi lingkungan sekitar untuk membangun suatu pengetahuannya sendiri dengan rasa keingintahuannya yang tinggi sehingga nantinya akan bermanfaat pada masa dewasanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain penelitian kelompok kontrol non-ekuivalen (the nonequivalent grup design). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan proses sains terhadap kemampuan berpikir logis anak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa rata-rata nilai gain kelas eksperimen 76,14 sedangkan rata-rata nilai gain kelas kontrol 5,60 yang artinya penggunaan keterampilan proses sains efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis anak usia dini. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini direkomendasikan kepada pendidik anak usia dini agar keterampilan proses sains dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis anak.

The teaching generally refers to the curriculum that is applied to the school. Teachers are not yet able to develop their own teaching materials. Learning given to children at a young age is focuses on the direction of physical growth and development, language, intellectual, social, emotional, and all intelligence. The problem is that in the learning process it generally reveals only one - way materials by a teacher or teacher center, and the lecture study model. Where the child just sat listening while the teacher explained. Learning is more meaningful if the learning process is carried out experiental learning - that children do tightening in learning. In playing teachers need a manual on a game scenario to be given to learners. The purpose of this study to describe a design for material development a fun outbound game in search of treasure. The method used in this study is educational design research (edr). Data collection techniques interviews, documentation, and expert validation. Data subjects obtained from TK PGRI Lendrasari group b teacher, and validation by the expert validator. Expert validation becomes the product revision. Then the lesson would be a fun outbound book guide for a treasure in the early childhood. Bahan ajar pada umumnya mengacu pada kurikulum yang diterapkan di Sekolah. Guru belum mampu mengembangkan bahan ajar sendiri, guru masih berpacu pada satu bahan ajar yaitu kurikulum 2013. Pembelajaran yang diberikan kepada anak usia dini bukan berorientasi pada akademis saja, melainkan menitik beratkan kepada arah pertumbuhan dan perkembangan fisik, bahasa, intelektual, sosial, emosi serta seluruh kecerdasan. Permasalahan yang terjadi yaitu dalam proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan di dalam kelas, pada umumnya hanya mengungkapkan materi- materi satu arah oleh guru atau teacher center, dan model pembelajaran ceramah. Dimana anak hanya duduk mendengarkan ketika guru menjelaskan. Pembelajaran akan lebih bermakna jika proses pembelajaran dilakukan secara experiental learning yaitu anak melakukan pengindraan dalam belajar. Hampir semua aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh anak adalah bermain. Dalam bermain guru memerlukan buku panduan mengenai skenario permainan yang akan diberikan kepada anak didik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan rancangan desain pengembangan bahan ajar  permainan Fun Outbound mencari harta karun. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Educational Design Research (EDR). Penelitian ini berbasis desain atau rancangan produk dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, dokumentasi, dan validasi ahli. Subjek data diperoleh dari guru kelompok B TK PGRI Lendrasari, dan validasi oleh validator ahli. Hasil validasi ahli menjadi bahan revisi produk. Dengan demikian kesimpulannya Bahan ajar berupa buku panduan permainan Fun Outbound mencari harta karun di PAUD layak digunakan.

This study aims to produce a science module based on mobile-collaborative-based science learning (m-CBSL) with the topic of temperature and heat and describe the resulting module's validity and practicality. The research design was Educational Design Research (EDR). The data collection techniques used were literature study, walkthrough, interview, and questionnaire. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire of validity and practicality. Data analysis techniques include descriptive data analysis, validation sheets, and questionnaires. Module validation sheets were given to 5 validators. In contrast, practicality sheets were given to 9 students of class VII SMP Negeri 12 Banjarmasin (small group) and 62 students and three science teachers at SMP Negeri 6 & 12 Banjarmasin field test. The validity questionnaire analysis results concluded that the validity of the module was 3.71 "very valid" categories. The practicality level based on the teacher's questionnaire scored 87.04 in the "very practical" category. The small group questionnaire scored 85.19 in the "very practical" category, and the field trial questionnaire scored 86.42 in the "very practical" category. It means that the m-CBSL based science module is valid and practical in the learning process to improve critical thinking skills and collaboration.

Creativity is the ability to think about things in new and unusual ways and give birth to something unique, or create something original. Plasticine is a material that is made of flexible and can be shaped as desired. This study aims to increase early childhood creativity through playing plasticine. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each stage, namely Planning, Implementation, Observation and Reflection. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation, field notes. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Subjects in this study were group B with a total of 14 children consisting of 9 boys and 5 girls. The results showed that the creativity of children increased, namely from the pre-cycle the number of undeveloped children decreased from 12 children to 0 (85.7%) in cycles I and II, then children who began to develop from pre-cycle 2 children (14 , 3%) to 9 children (64.3%) in cycle I and to 0 in cycle II. Children who developed as expected from pre-cycle from none to 5 children (35.7%) in cycle I and 3 children (21.4%) in cycle 2. Children who developed very well in pre-cycle and cycle I did not there were 11 children (78.65%). These results indicate that playing plasticine can increase the creativity of early childhood in RA Ibnu Sina, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency.

In the context of logical thinking the child will know about classifying objects based on function, shape or color or size, recognize patterns of ab-ab / abc-abc and repeat them. Increasing the ability to think logically with the puzzle media mental children will also be accustomed to being calm, diligent and patient in getting things done. So this research focuses on the implementation of the use of puzzle media in learning logical thinking in RA Nurul Yusro with the research title "Improving the ability of logical thinking in early childhood by using number puzzle media". This study aims at naturalist intelligence and logical thinking skills through puzzle media in group A aged 4-5 years. The use of instruments in this study was in the form of an observation sheet, in the form of a checklist of developmental achievement scales compiled based on a numerical scale assessment of 1-4. While the method used is a quasi-experimental method. The study sample was 10 children aged 4-5 years in group A RA Nurul Yusro. The results showed that the ability to think logically children aged 4-5 years in group A RA Nurul Yusro reached 35% of the minimum percentage of 65%. This shows that the ability to think logically children aged 4-5 years in group A RA Nurul Yusro is still low.

21st-century skills that children must have, namely the ability to collaborate, create, communicate and think critically. This study aims to improve critical thinking skills in children to adapt to their time. This research was conducted in group B of the Kindergarten in Madinah Pamulang, South Tangerang with a total of 20 children. The research method uses classroom action research with 2 cycles. Collecting data by means of observation, interviews, documentation and the data obtained were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative. The results showed that the children's critical thinking skills increased by 18.4% in cycle I and cycle 2 by 45% after research and corrective action were carried out. The results of the action in the second cycle of 45% prove that the children's critical thinking skills have increased significantly. Improvement occurs through simple experimental activities with the stages of problem finding, exploration, creation, and reflection. The conclusion of this study is that critical thinking skills in early childhood can be improved through inquiry learning.

The aims of this research are to know the ability to write in early childhood through drawing games. The research was conducted through action research in group B kindergarten SOS Desa Taruna. The study is conducted using action research and held from May to June the second semester. The procedures for this action research are following Kemmis and Taggart’s model consisting of four phases cycle which is (a) planning, (b) action, (c) observation, (d) reflection. Data analysis is carried using both quantitative and qualitative by the positive response of drawing games. In the 1st cycle, early childhood writing ability is…% and early childhood writing ability increasing…% in the 2nd cycle. The implication of the research finding, drawing games should be children learn writing ability with fun but can make children study writing, drawing games it should be an alternative to teach writing for the children.

Research and development has been carried out, which aims find out the basic needs of developing scienceoriented learning activity plans on the water sub theme to optimize early childhood observation skills. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode pengembangan, model pendekatan mix method dengan teknik Educational Design Research mengacu pada model menurut McKenney dan Reeves. This article only explains the Educational Design Research engineering research in the first stage, namely the exploration and analysis of research problems. Data collection was carried out with preliminary studies, namely field studies with initial observations and literature studies. The field study was conducted at Raudhatul Athfal AT-Taufiq which is located in Cibeureum Sub-district, Tasikmalaya City. Literature study is carried out by examining the journals and the results of previous research related to problems and science-oriented books in early childhood. Thus, the results of the study indicate various basic needs for developing science-oriented learning activity plans to optimize observational skills, which will later be used as a reference or guideline for designing research development products in the form of learning activity plans. Telah dilakukan penelitian dan pengembangan, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui dasar kebutuhan pengembangan rencana kegiatan pembelajaran berorientasi sains pada sub tema air untuk mengoptimalkan keterampilan mengamati anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode pengembangan, model pendekatan mix method dengan teknik Educational Design Research mengacu pada model menurut McKenney dan Reeves. Artikel ini hanya menjelaskan penelitian teknik Educational Design Research pada tahap pertama yaitu tahap eksplorasi dan analisis masalah penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi pendahuluan yaitu studi lapangan dengan observasi awal dan studi literatur. Studi lapangan dilaksanakan di Raudhatul Athfal AT-Taufiq yang beralamat di Kecamatan Cibeureum Kota Tasikmalaya. Studi  literatur dilakukan dengan mengkaji jurnal dan hasil penelitian terdahulu terkait permasalahan serta buku-buku berorientasi sains pada anak usia dini. Sehingga, hasil penelitian menunjukan berbagai kebutuhan dasar untuk mengembangkan rencana kegiatan pembelajaran berorientasi sains untuk mengoptimalkan keterampilan mengamati, yang nantinya akan dijadikan sebagai acuan atau pedoman untuk perancangan produk pengembangan penelitian berupa rencana kegiatan pembelajaran.

The form of a child’s worksheet generally contains evaluation questions that serve as a child’s cognitive assessment. But actually worksheets are used to facilitate children to do learning activities in understanding a concept/ knowledge. The 2013 curriculum is present as a guide in determining learning and requires teachers to educate students through various activities in order to have scientific skills. Whit the 2013 curriculum, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematic) learning is expected to facilitate integrative learning activities that apply to early childhood education. This study aims to develop worksheets for STEM child models to facilitate children’s scientific skills. In this stufy, the researcher will explain the basic needs and design the development of STEM model worksheets for floating concept of drowning to facilitate children’s scientific skills after early age. The method used in this research is the development of Educational  Design Research. Then based on the needs and findings in the field, the researcher will develop the STEM Model Worksheet for the Drowning Floating Concept to Facilitate Scientific Skills of Early Childhood, so that it can be implemented in early childhood.  Bentuk lembar kerja anak pada umumnya berisi mengenai soal evaluasi yang dijadikan sebagai penilaian kognitif anak. Namun sebenarnya lembar kerja digunakan untuk memfasilitasi anak melakukan kegiatan belajar dalam memahami suatu konsep/pengetahuan. Kurikulum 2013 hadir sebagai pedoman dalam menentukan pembelajaran dan mengharuskan guru untuk mendidik siswa melalui berbagai aktivitas agar memiliki keterampilan saintifik. Dengan adanya kurikulum 2013 tersebut pembelajaran STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematic) diharapkan dapat memfasilitasi kegiatan pembelajaran integratif yang berlaku pada pendidikan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dasar kebutuahn penggunaan lembar kerja anak dan mengembangkan lembar kerja anak model STEM untuk memfasilitasi keterampilan saintifik anak. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti akan menjelaskan mengenai dasar kebutuhan dan membuat rancangan pengembangan lembar kerja anak model STEM pada konsep terapung melayang tenggelam untuk memfasilitasi keterampilan saintifik anak usia dini.  Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengembangan Educational Design Research. Penerapan pembelajaran STEM dengan menggunakan LKS akan menjembatani pembelajaran tematik integratif yang menerapkan pada 4 bidang keilmuan, kemudian akan menghasilkan suatu produk memfasilitasi keterampilan saintifik anak. Pembelajaran sains pada usia dini masih dirasa cukup sulit, namun dengan media dan bahn ajar yang memadai, maka hal tersebut dapat diatasi. Berdasarkan studi literatur ditemukan bahwa banyak lembar kerja anak yang tidak sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan anak. Maka berdasarkan kebutuhan dan penemuan dilapangan tersebut, peneliti akan melakukan Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Anak Model STEM pada Konsep Terapung Melayang Tenggelam untuk Memfasilitasi Keterampilan Saintifik Anak Usia Dini, sehingga dapat diimplementasikan pada anak usia dini.

This research is motivated by problems that occur in the field related to the use of STEM learning media in the concept of floating, floating and sinking which are limited and even lack of learning media facilities. The learning process in PAUD will be carried out optimally if it gets the support of relevant components and is very important in the delivery of information on the concept of learning materials in this case the learning media. STEM is an interdisciplinary merger of science related to science, technology, engineering and mathematics. STEM learning media model "Sink, Float and Fun" on the concept of floating, floating and sinking aims to facilitate the scientific skills of early childhood in group B. The scientific skills of children focused in this research are observing, classifying and communicating. Researchers use a mixed research approach (mix method) with the type of development, namely the EDR (Educational Design Research) method with 3 stages, namely the analysis and exploration phase is the first step by conducting literature studies and preliminary studies to the field to find the core research problems, design and construction of this product design development the researchers conducted the design and manufacture of the product being developed, and evaluation and reflection. However, in this study only up to stage II, namely to expert validation, where the results of the validation state that the STEM model of learning media is feasible to be used in the learning process with a slight revision. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang terjadi dilapangan terkait dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran model STEM pada konsep terapung, melayang dan tenggelam yang terbatas bahkan kekurangan fasilitas media pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran di PAUD akan terlaksana secara optimal apabila mendapatkan dukungan komponen yang relevan dan sangat berfungsi penting dalam penyampain informasi konsep materi pembelajaran dalam hal ini media pembelajaran. STEM merupakan penggabungan interdisiplin ilmu terkait sains, teknologi, teknik dan matematika. Media pembelajaran model STEM “Sink, Float and Fun” pada konsep terapung, melayang dan tenggelam bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi keterampilan saintifik anak usia dini kelompok B. Keterampilan saintifik anak yang difokuskan dalam penelitian ini yaitu mengamati (observasi), mengklasifikasi dan mengkomunikasikan. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan penelitian campuran (mix method) dengan jenis pengembangan yaitu dengan metode penelitian EDR (Educational Design Researh) dengan 3 tahap, yaitu tahap analysis and exploration ini merupakan langkah pertama dengan melakukan studi literatur dan studi pendahuluan ke lapangan untuk menemukan inti permasalahan penelitian, design and construction pengembangan desain produk ini peneliti melakukan rancangan dan pembuatan terhadap produk yang dikembangkan,  dan evaluation and reflection. Namun dalam penelitian ini hanya sampai tahap II saja yaitu sampai validasi ahli, dimana hasil dari validasi menyatakan bahwa media pembelajaran model STEM layak untuk digunakan dalm proses pembelajaran dengan sedikit revisi.
