The problem in distributing pharmaceutical preparations that often occur in hospitals is when medicines arrive late at the hospital pharmacy depot/satellite. Not only employees who feel loss but patients who need medicines are even more harmed because they have to wait for the medicine that comes too late. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research using case study design. Primary data is obtained from direct observations and in-depth interviews and document studies. This research was conducted in South Tangerang City Hospital from May to June 2021. Based on the results of research obtained for input obtained human resources results in pharmaceutical warehouses are not adequate, infrastructure to distribute medicines and medical materials consumables to the room has not been up to standard. In the process obtained results that have been done by the distribution flow of drugs and medical materials consumables. In the output obtained results there is still a void of drugs. Conclusion In the input of human resources in the Pharmacy Warehouse is not adequate, the infrastructure in distributing medicines and medical materials consumables to the room has not been up to standard. The distribution process has been carried out by the standards of operational procedures in force. At the output is still the discovery of empty drug stocks. Suggest the head of the warehouse to be able to supervise the SOP that the distribution of drugs and BMHP. The need to hold a special trolley addition in the Pharmacy Warehouse to facilitate the distribution of drugs and medical materials consumables.

Background: Provision of quality and accessible health services comes with its challenges. Therefore, the need to highlight how motivation and job satisfaction can impact nurses’ performances at the Korle-Bu teaching hospital. Objectives: The research aimed to practically highlight nurses’ motivation and job satisfaction by identifying what constituted motivation packages of nurses and how the work they did could give them satisfaction at the Korle-Bu teaching hospital. Methods: The research employed a qualitative method with a case study design. In-depth interviews and focus group discussions (data triangulation) were used for primary data collection. A total of 40 respondents, including ten key informants, were selected using the purposive and convenience sampling techniques. Results: The research found that the recognition of needs of nurses, improved remunerations, enhanced conditions of service of the nurses’, regular payment of nurses’ salaries’, the institution of study leave with pay policy, among others, were considered as factors that could contribute to nurses’ motivation and job satisfaction. These findings are consistent with the findings of other studies. Again, the study found that professional allowances paid to nurses, reduced rent, and the like are current motivation packages directed at nurses at the Korle-Bu teaching hospital. Conclusion: It is important to state that for motivation to accomplish its intended purpose, there is the need for the hospital to identify the individual needs to satisfy to enhance job satisfaction.

ABSTRACTThe storage of pharmaceutical supplies must ensure the quality and safety of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices and consumable medical materials in accordance with pharmaceutical needs. This study aims to obtain an overview of the storage of pharmaceutical supplies in the Bhayangkara Hospital Manado warehouse based on the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 72 of 2016. In the research results found indicators of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Indicators of strength are a well-organized system for arranging goods in a warehouse, supporting facilities in a well-functioning warehouse, a strategic location and a person in charge of pharmaceutical personnel. Weaknesses are the number of human resources that are still lacking and there are frequent power outages. The opportunity identified was the development of an up-to-date management information system. Threats include regulations from distributors of non-returnable goods and demand for goods during the night shift that cannot be fulfilled because warehouse operating hours end at 17.00. Keywords: Storage, Medicine, Hospital Pharmacy Installation   ABSTRAKPenyimpanan perbekalan farmasi harus menjamin mutu dan keamanan sediaan farmasi, alat kesehatan dan bahan medis habis pakai  yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan kefarmasian.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang penyimpanan perbekalan farmasi di gudang RS Bhayangkara Manado berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia Nomor 72 Tahun 2016. Dalam hasil penelitian ditemukan indikator kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman. Indikator kekuatan yaitu sistem penataan barang di gudang yang tertata dengan baik, fasilitas penunjang di gudang yang berfungsi dengan baik, lokasi yang strategis dan penanggung jawab tenaga kefarmasian. Kelemahan yaitu jumlah sumber daya manusia yang masih kurangan dan sering terjadi pemadaman listrik. Peluang yang ditemukan adalah pengembangan sistem informasi manajemen yang selalu diperbaharui. Ancaman antara lain regulasi dari distributor barang yang tidak dapat dikembalikan dan permintaan barang pada saat shift malam tidak dapat dipenuhi karena jam operasional gudang berakhir pada pukul 5 sore.. Kata kunci: Penyimpanan, Obat, Instalasi Farmasi Rumah Sakit

Choosing a career as an Islamic teacher has many challenges as well as fun, not everyone is interested in this profession except those who have strong motivation. This study aims to find out the real motivation of students to select department of Islamic teaching education in public university, even though this department is widely offered by state and private Islamic universities. This study uses qualitative methods with a case study approach (case study design). Sources of data were taken from thirty informants through in-depth interviews selected using a purposive sampling technique, all informants were active students who chose the department of Islamic teaching education at Padang State University in 2017, 2018 and 2019. All interviews were analyzed thematically using the NVivo 10 qualitative analysis software. The results of the analysis showed that there were seven motivations of students to select department of Islamic teaching education. Those seven motivations are: i) self-will, ii) parents' encouragement, iii) choice to become a religious teacher, iv) job opportunities after graduation, v) desire to study at public universities vi) opportunity to spread dakwah, vii) to deepen Islamic knowledge. The results of this study can be used as preliminary data for subsequent researchers to examine this problem in different contexts and issues.

The aimed of this study was to analyze the management of Boonpring Ecotourism by Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in order to increase income of the village (PADes). This study uses a case study design with a qualitative descriptive method. Qualitative data obtained by conducting in depth interviews, observations and documentation. The informants in this study were the Head of village, the Head of BUMDes, staff and community. Data reduction, data presentation, trianggulation and conclusion are data analysis  used in this study. The results of the study stated that the management of Boonpring Ecotourism had been carried out well by the Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) of Sanan Kerto in accordance with the cooperative, participatory, transparent, accountable, and sustainable principles. Good management of Boonpring Ecotourism is expected to increase Income of village in a sustainable manner by exploring the potential of villages through the tourism sector even though there are obstacles in the application of participatory principles, namely the quality of Human Resources (HR) that need to be trained.Keywords: Management Principles; tourismp; BUMDes; Income of Village. AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengelolaan Ekowisata Boonpring oleh Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) dalam rangka meningkatkan pendapatan desa (PADes). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi kasus dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data kualitatif diperoleh dengan melakukan wawancara secara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Desa, kepala BUMDes, karyawan, dan masyarakat. Reduksi data, penyajian data, trianggulasi dan penarikan kesimpulan merupakan analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menyatakan pengelolaan Ekowisata Boonpring sudah dilakukan dengan baik oleh Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) Sanan kerto sesuai dengan prinsip kooperatif, partisipatif, emansipatif, transparan, akuntable, dan sustainable. Pengelolaan Ekowisata Boonpring yang baik diharapkan dapat meningkatkan Pendapatan Asli Desa secara berkelanjutan dengan menggali potensi desa melalui sektor pariwisata walaupun ada kendala dalam penerapan prinsip partisipatif yaitu kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang perlu dilatih.Kata Kunci: Prinsip Pengelolaan, wisata, BUMDes, PADes.

Korean popular music or K-pop has achieved popularity among global audiences. The uniqueness of K-pop fan culture has helped to shape the success of the K-pop industry. Through a case study of Chinese fan labor vis-à-vis K-pop male idol group GOT7, the author notes three types of K-pop fan labor: specialized labor, managerial labor, and unskilled labor. This research argues that fan labor transforms the K-pop industry into an alternative creative industry because fan labor as creative labor is an indispensable part of the K-pop industry. Fan labor is utilized to distinguish fans from non-fans, and to draw boundaries between the grateful, more enthusiastic fans and the casual self-proclaimed fans who do not contribute to fandom or their idols’ success. These Chinese K-pop fans comply with the K-pop industry’s commodification of culture, are exploited by the K-pop industry, and seek empowerment in the K-pop production and distribution process. This paper’s exploration of fan labor, based on the author’s participant observations and in-depth interviews, will thus contribute to studies on the creative industries, creative labor, fandom, and the transnational flows of popular culture.

With a special focus on the commercialization of creative videos, this article explores the research question of how digital platforms’ affordances simultaneously allow and constrain video producers’ commercialization activities in the platform era. This study adopts a case study design that focuses on the Chinese digital video producer Zheng Yun, founder of Zheng Yun Studio, using ethnographic participant observations and in-depth interviews. It explains how creative producers such as Zheng Yun struggle to survive in the context of intensified platformization and how they benefit from the digital platforms by employing various commercialization mechanisms, including the Revenue Sharing Program (RSP), Embedded Product Placement (EPP), Franchise Chains, Agent-commission, and Crowd-funding. This research also demonstrates the asymmetrical power relationships between platforms and video producers, which prompt us to rethink the political nature of platforms and the diversified nature of platformization in the digital platform age.

AbstractThe lived, and oftentimes silenced, experiences of "foreign workers" articulate the negotiation of power relations between "citizen" and "foreigner", and "Us" and "Them". These are translated into discursive practices that, in effect, legitimize and entrench differences — hence, inequalities — that effectively discipline the "foreign worker" as "not one of Us". By taking the example of Bangladeshi construction workers in Singapore as a case study, I argue in this paper that the workspaces of "foreign construction workers" in Singapore typify that of a "total institution", which correspondingly moulds the worker into a discursive ideal — the "good, docile Other". Such impositions and productions of Otherness, however, face rupture as workers (re)negotiate, (re)work, and (re)inscribe their everyday lives through the employment of what James Scott (1985, 1987) terms "everyday 'resistances'" in rising above that which subjugates them. I will present in this paper primary data elicited and collated from direct participant observation, fieldwork, and in-depth interviews conducted in a construction project in Singapore.

Purpose of the study: The rambu solo’ ceremony is a traditional death ceremony of the Tana Toraja regency with roots in local beliefs. However, over time, the tradition has become associated with social status and economic motives. These changes have led to many issues. This article analyses the motivations that drive the compromises that families must accept when selecting a form of rambu solo’. Methodology: This was a case study conducted in the village of Lemo in the regency of Tana Toraja. Primary data collected through in-depth interviews and observation. Informants consisted of cultural figures, religious figures, and indigenous locals with experience performing rambu solo’ — secondary data taken from existing literature about Toraja Regency. Main Findings: Results showed that compromises taken for motives of social status were irrational but comprised the most common reasoning behind rambu solo’ ceremony selection. For those families motivated by social status, choice of rambu solo’ ceremony form performed for one of two reasons: preserving their social status ascribed to them from birth (attributed status) Applications of this study: The selection of non-rapasanrambu solo’ ceremonies based on economic motives were rationally-sound but relatively rare. Avoiding wastefulness in the performing of rambu solo’ is done through simplifying the procession through shortening the storage period of the remains of the deceased before the rambu solo’ reducing the number of days of the rambu solo’ ceremony. Novelty/Originality of this study: This shows that irrational decision-making, in the context of traditional ceremonies, cannot be considered irrational; even irrational decisions can be justified and explained based on individual interpretations of rationality based on local culture. Interestingly, social status was the most common motive form selection based on economic motives were rational but less popular among the people sound choice theory

Role of posyandu cadres in empowering the community of BintanPurposeThis study aimed to determine the role of posyandu cadres in empowering the community in Kawal village, Gunung Kijang district, Bintan regency.MethodsThis study used a qualitative method with a case study design and purposive sampling technique, with the cadres of posyandu. Data collection was done by in-depth interviews and focus group discussion (FGD), with triangulation of sources and methods.ResultsThe role of cadres are as a health motivator, with the extension officers of the health and medical services as well as cadres being able to identify the needs, barriers and help to coordinate in providing health services.ConclusionPosyandu cadres have high social spirit created by the combination of internal and external motivation, resources and potential as well as experience developing ability, with the social spirit capable of inspiring, activating, stimulating, mobilizing and motivating people.

This study was carried out in Bhodkhore Community Forest Users Group in Parbat district, Nepal with the overall objective to develop a clearer understanding of the challenges for service providers while working towards improving the Community Forestry governance. The primary data were collected through personal interviews, group discussions, key informant interviews and direct observations using a series of questionnaires and check lists. Similarly, the secondary data were gathered from reports and records from Community Forestry User Group and service providers, and from relevant scientific literature. The data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative tools. The results show that the existing challenges for service providers mainly include financial resource management, time management and inadequate technical support for forest management.
