Tik tok is one of the most loved apps in the millennial era. The Tik Tok application is an application to create and share various short videos in vertical format, which is played by simply scrolling the screen up or down. Tik Tok users are increasing every day, especially during the pandemic era. In 2020, as of October Tik Tok reached 2 billion downloads worldwide. This application originating from China is widely downloaded by social media users to relieve boredom when they have to stay at home. This study aims to improve students' speaking skills through the Tik Tok application. The subjects of this study were 20 students of the third semester in English education major at STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung. The method used is descriptive quantitative method using classroom action research techniques. Based on the result, the improvement of students’ learning activities showed mean score of students’ learning activities in pre cycle is 68.88, in cycle I was 69 with the criteria was less active. While, the mean score of students’ learning activities in cycle II was 76.75 with the criteria were quite active. So, the improvement of students’ learning activities the first cycle to the second cycle was 7.75 point. From analyzing data, it could be concluded that classroom action research by using Tik Tok App improved students’ learning activities and students’ speaking skill.

This Collaborative Classroom Action Research aimed at enhancing students’ speaking skill through the application of Circle Game. It was conducted in one cycle consisting of two meetings. The subject was the seventh of C class of SMPN 2 Alas Barat consisting of 22 students. The types of data were qualitative (acquiring observation during the learning process) and quantitative (speaking tests). The results qualitatively showed that the implementation of Circle Game enhanced the students’ speaking skills. Such improvement could be seen from their enthusiasm, their interesting feeling in various materials presented by the teacher, their active involvement. In the quantitative findings, the result also showed a higher value of the mean score of the post-test (77.34) rather than the pre-test (75.75). In conclusion, the use of Circle Game can improve students’ speaking skill.

This study presents a research report on improving students’ Learning results on IPA through Video. The objective was to find out whether students’ learning result improved when they are taught by using Video. It was conducted using classroom action research method. The subject of the study was the Grade IV students of SDN 187/IV Kota Jambi which is located on Jln. Adi Sucipto RT 05 Kecamatan Jambi Selatan, and the number of the students were 21 persons. The instruments used were test. In analyzing the data, the mean of the students’ score for the on fisrt sycle was 65,4 (42,85%) and the mean on cycle two was 68,5 (37,15%) and the mean of the third cycle was 81,4 (100%). Then it can be concluded that the use of video on learning IPA can improve the students’ learning result. It is suggested that teachers should use video as one of the media to improve students’ learning result on IPA.Keywords : IPA, students’ learning result, video

The aims of this research is to improve reading comprehension of the eighth-grade students using think-pair-share technique. The researchers applying this technique is to make students actively learn in classthrough pair discussions and sharing information with their friends. The researchers used a classroom action research (CAR) method, this research has been carried out in three cycles to achieve students improvement in reading comprehension. The mean scores of students in the first cycle is 57.60, in the second cycle is 64.67, and in  the third cycle is 77.20. The mean scores of the three cycles prove that the think-pair-share technique has succeeded in improving students' reading comprehension of recount text. Keywords: Think-Pair-Share, Reading comprehension ,Recount text.

The study is aim to find out how to improve students' speaking ability in making questions, giving explanations, and answers based on the debate topic. The methodology of this research is a classroom action research which consisted of 3 cycles. The subject of this research was the students of Semester II Sistem Informatika of Informatica Technical Faculty 2019/2020, Potensi Utama University, which consists of 60 students. To collect the data, the researcher applied the observation checklist and fieldnotes. Through the observation checklist, the researchers observed students' activity in the classroom, and by using fieldnotes the researchers summarized the problem during debating process. Based on the research findings, the debate technique which was applied to the subjects of research reflected the improvement of students' speaking ability. Based on the result of the researchers’ observation using the observation checklist and fieldnotes, it can be seen that students' speaking ability in making questions and giving explanations have been improved. The percentage of students' activity in the classroom when debate, in the first cycle, was 42.83%, in the second cycle was 59.17%, and the third cycle was 85.17%. It indicated that debate technique had improved students' speaking ability in making questions and giving explanations.Keywords: Classroom Action Research, College Student, Debate Technique, Speaking Skill

This study aims to develop learners’ speaking skill at tenth grade of SMK Budi Bakti Utama through Demonstration Technique in procedure text. This research is a Classroom Action Research based on Kurt Lewin’ design. This CAR done in two cycle. Every cycle consist of four phases (planning, acting, observing and reflecting). The data were gathered through qualitative and quantitative, namely interview, observation, pretest, posttest and questionnaire. The researcher found that demonstration Technique in teaching procedural text was succes to increase the learners’ speaking ability. It is concluded from the learners score. Where, before implementing CAR the mean score was 53.48 and only 6 learners from 33 learners passed the KKM. Then, after implementing CAR the mean score was better became 75.21 and there are 27 learners passed the KKM.

Abstract   This classroom action research was done in the area of speaking.  It was found that the eleventh grade students of SMAN 8 Denpasar got difficulty  in communicating and delivering ideas. The objective of this study was to figure out whether or not speaking  skill of the eleventh-grade students of SMAN 8 Denpasar in academic year 2017/2018 could be improved  through  British  Parliamentary  Style Debate Technique.  The research was undertaken based on the result of the interview with the teacher who taught the students. Pre-test was then carried out, and it was found that the subjects’ speaking skill was low. In order to settle down the problem, British Parliamentary Style Debate Technique was implemented as the technique to improve the subjects’ speaking skill. The study was conducted in two cycles. Furthermore, the result of post- test in each cycle showed that there were significant improvements on the subjects’ speaking skill after British  Parliamentary  Style  Debate technique  was applied. After the treatment of pre-test, the reflection or post-test was administered.   The mean figure of the reflection or post-test scores obtained by the subjects under study in cycle I was 70.52. and in cycle  II  was  78.34. In addition, based on the data of the questionnaire, the subjects’ responses towards the application of the technique was positive.  Therefore, it could be concluded that speaking skill of the eleventh- grade students of SMAN 8 Denpasar in academic year 2017/2018 could be improved through British Parliamentary Style Debate Technique. This research is done because the mean of pretest speaking is 65.73. The KKM is 75.00. The problems of this research are: 1) Can the use of a Debate Method increase the students’ Speaking Skill on Discussion Text at class XII   SMAN 1 Bengkulu?. 2) How is the effectiveness of procedures of Using a Debate Method to Increase the Students’Speaking skill on Discussion Text at class XII  SMAN 1 Bengkulu? The aims of this research are: 1).To increase the students’ speaking skill on Discussion Text at class XII  SMAN 1 Bengkulu. 2).To find out how the effective procedure of using a debate method to increase the students’ speaking skill on discussion text at class XII SMAN 1 Bengkulu. This classroom action research which uses descriptive qualitative technique. This method uses pre-test and two cycles. Each cycle consists of four steps: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The source of the data is the teacher, collaborator as observer and students, and the result of the test. The total of the students are 35 students. Technique and collecting data uses observation and test.The result of classroom action research from observation cycle 1 is not good, that is 65%. And the result speaking test cycle1 is not good either, the mean score is 74.93%. 2 students get score 55-64, and the percentage is 5.71%. 12 students get score 65-74, and the percentage is 34.29%. 21 students get score 75-84 and the percentage is 60%. N0ne get score 85-94. The result of observation cycle 2 is good, that is 89%, and so is the result speaking test cycle 2, and the mean score is 80,64% .None of  students get score below 75, and the percentage means 0%, 31 students get score 75-84, and the percentage is 88,57%. 4students get score 85-94, and the percentage is 11.43%. And even thought none student gets score 95-100 ,but the result is satisfied. The mean is 80,64. From the observation result of the test cycle 2 shows that the success of the learning process is good. KKM for English is 75.00, so the learning activity of students is fulfilled for the KKM.  From the result of the cycle test 2, the mean score is 80,64% , learning activity uses a Debate Method to Increase the students’ speaking skill on Discussion Text at class XII IPS 2 SMAN 1 Bengkulu  semester 1 academic year 2017-2018 is successful.

Abstract: This research aimed to: improve the learning activities, and learning outcomes at class VII-1 of SMPN 1 Sungkai Selatan. This research used descriptive method with classroom action research which was conducted in three cycles. The subjects of this research were 36 students from class VII-1 which consist of 20 female students and 16 male students. The data that taken were the result of the end of the cycle and the observation of learning activities and learning outcomes. The result of this research showed that in first cycle, students learning activities reach 52,78% and where as the results of learning outcomes completeness reached 44,44%. In the second cycle students learning activities increased into 64,58%, and the learning outcomes completeness also increased to 52,78%. In the third cycle which one to be the result of this research showed, students learning activities increased to 75,69%, the percentage of learning outcomes completeness also increased to 80,55%. Based on those result, it can be concluded that teaching through media animation can improve the learning activities, and learning outcomes IPS.

<p><em>This classroom action research aims to increase the learning motivation of students in following the learning process on PPKn material about the rules in daily life for grade 2 SDN Daleman Kidul 1 in the 2020/2021 academic year through interative PPT media. Motivation to learn is the overall driving force in students that gives rise to learning activities, which ensures the continuity of learning activities, so that the goals desired by learning subjects can be achieved (sardiman, 1986:75 ). The research conducted was a classroom action research with three cycles, in cycle 1 students who were motivated to learn from 15 students reached 66.67 %.  In the second cycle there was an increase of  86.67 %.  As for the third cycle, students who were motivated to learn reached 93.33 %. Improvements in learning using interactive PPT media in each cycle have  increased in motivating students to learn.</em></p>

The aim of this research was to improve Javanese Ngoko speaking skill of grade IV students of SD Negeri 1 Kedungbanteng through the implementation of paired storytelling technique. This was a Classroom Action Research. This research was conducted collaboratively with the teacher of grade IV of SD Negeri 1 Kedungbanteng. This research was conducted in two cycles which consisted of 4 meetings. Each cycle covered the stages of planning, treatment, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were 20 students of grade IV of SD Negeri 1 Kedungbanteng. The source of the data was grade IV students of SD Negeri 1 Kedungbanteng. The data were collected through spoken tests. The results of the research revealed that awell-implemented of paired storytelling learning technique can improve grade IV students' Javanese Ngoko speaking skill, especially about puppet stories. It was viewed by the improvement of learning in each cycle. The students' learning achievement on Javanese Ngoko speaking skill under the material of puppet stories in cycle Iwas 68.56% and in cycle II was 84.03%. The main obstacle in implementing the paired storytelling technique isthat the students were not used to speak using Javanese Ngoko, especially during the Javanese learning activities. Finally, it could be concluded that a well-implemented of paired storytelling technique could improvethe Javanese Ngoko speaking skill about puppet stories of grade IV students of SD Negeri 1 Kedungbanteng.
