Individual characteristics and work environment are considered as crucial aspects for companies that want to improve their employees’ performance. PT Trakindo Utama specifically Samarinda branch is one of many branches of PT Trakindo Utama in Indonesia, which become the sole agent of Caterpillar products in Indonesia. Caterpillar itself is the world's leading manufacturer of heavy equipment originally from USA. This research aims to determine the influence of characteristics and non-physical work environment of the employee performance in parts Department at PT Trakindo Utama Samarinda branch. The individual characteristics (x1) and non-physical work environment (x2) are used as independent variables while the performance of employees (Y) as dependent variable. Primary data is obtained by conducting interviews to 34 respondents by using questionnaires while secondary data is obtained by conducting field observation. Data analysis uses a double linear regression technique by using SPSS 22 software. The results show that the individual characteristic variables does not have any partial effect toward the performance of the employees of Parts Department PT Trakindo Utama Cabang Samarinda branch and individual characteristic variables (X1) and non-physical work environment (x2) are simultaneously influential in the performance of the Employees (Y) Parts Department at PT trakindo Utama, Samarinda branch.  Suggestions for PT Trakindo Utama Samarinda Branch, the company should hold a family gathering in order to improve not only for each employees relations but also with bosses to stay awake, provide suggestions and evaluate employee work which can effectively improve employee performance, manage the best possible time so that the job can be completed on time.

<em>This research was conducted based on the existence of problems in the competence and physical work environment of employee performance. This study aims to determine the effect of competencies and physical work environment simultaneously or partially on the performance of employees of PT. Suzuki Indomobil Motor. The sampling technique is the sample random sampling technique. The type of research used is descriptive and verivative research methods, with data collection techniques using primary data and secondary data. The results showed that competency, physical work environment, and performance were categorized quite well. Based on the calculation, it can be seen that simultaneously the competence and physical work environment have a positive and significant influence on the performance of the employees of PT. This study aims to determine the effect of Physical Work Environment and Non Physical Work Environment on Employee Performance at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Palu City. The method used is an associative method. The type of data used in this study is the qualitative and quantitative data while the data sources used are primary and secondary data. Data analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The result of hypothesis analysis and testing can be concluded that: (1) based on the regression test results obtained Sig.F of 0,000 <0.05, which can be interpreted that the variables of Physical Work Environment and non physical work environment simultaneously affect the performance variables. (2) based on the regression test results obtained the physical work environment variable has significance level t sig. (0,000) <α (0.05) and non-physical work environment has a significance level of t sig. (0.000) <α (0,05), so the variable of physical work environment and non working physical environment partially influence to employee performance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja Fisik dan Non Fisik Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Pada Kantor Kementerian Agama Kota Palu. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode assosiatif. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif sedangkan sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil analisis dan pengujian hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) berdasarhan hasil uji regresi diperoleh Sig.F sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang dapat diartikan bahwa variabel lingkungan kerja fisik dan non fisik secara serempak berpengaruh terhadap variabel kinerja. (2) berdasarkan hasil uji regresi diperoleh variabel lingkungan kerja fisik memiliki tingkat signifikansi t sig. (0,000) < α (0,05) dan variabel lingkungan kerja non fisik memiliki tingkat signifikansi t sig. (0.000) < α (0,05), sehingga variabel lingkungan kerja fisik dan lingkungan kerja non fisik secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai.

This study aims to analyze the relationship between leadership style and non-physical work environment on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable for employees of BBTKLPP Yogyakarta. This research method uses quantitative descriptive using primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires. In this study using the sesnus technique, where all populations are taken, each population has the same opportunity to be sampled. The number of samples taken in this study were 110 questionnaires. Data were analyzed using SPSS and Smart PLS. The results showed that leadership style had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction with a significance level of 0.042 <0.05, so hypothesis I was accepted. The non-physical work environment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05, so hypothesis II is accepted. Leadership style has no positive and significant effect on employee performance with a significance level of 0.455 > 0.05, so hypothesis III is rejected. Non-fictional work environment has no positive and significant effect on employee performance with a significance level of 0.256 > 0.05, so hypothesis IV is rejected. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a significance level of 0.006 < 0.05 (p <0.05), so hypothesis V is accepted. Leadership style on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable with a significance level of Z score 1.57 < 1.96 then hypothesis VI is rejected. Non-physical work environment on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable with a significance level of Z score 2.51> 1.96 then hypothesis VII is accepted. The result of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. Individual Characteristic and Work Environment on Employee Performance are good. 2. The analysis regression is Ŷ = 20,910 + 0,816X1 + 0,399X2 have a positive influence between individual characteristic and work environment to employee performance. 3. The correlation result of r = 0,799, the analysis correlation have a moderately high and positive correlation between individual characteristic, work environment with the employee performance. 4. The result of coefficient of determination can be explained the level of employee performance is 63.90%, and the remaining 36.10% is explained by other factors not discussed in this study. From the results of the processing and calculation of the questionnaire, the authors concluded that the individual characteristics and work environment conducted by the Badan Pengelolaan Pajak dan Retribusi Daerah UPT SAMSAT Pematangsiantar had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by simultaneous hypothesis testing, where the results of the test are calculated (36,214 )> ftabel (3.23) with a significance level of 0,000 < 0,05. Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of job characteristics and physical work environment on job satisfaction in the Archives and Library Service of West Sumatra Province. This research is a causative descriptive study. The population in this study consisted of all civil servant employees using primary data and secondary data. The analytical method that is used  multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 21. To test hypotheses using statistical t test with a level of α of 5%. The results of this study indicate that 1) job characteristics do not have a significant influence on employee job satisfaction in the Department of Archives and Libraries of West Sumatra Province 2) Physical Work Environment has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction in the Department of Archives and Libraries of West Sumatra ProvinceKeyword: job characteristics, physical work environment and job satisfaction


The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership on the non-physical work environment, leadership and influence of non-physical work environment on work spirit and influence of leadership, non-physical work environment, and the work spirit of the employees' performance. The data used are primary data using questionnaires. The study population was all employees of PT. Telkom Witel Sumbar of 90 employees. The sample used in this study were as many as 74 people using cluster sampling. The results showed that: (1) leadership significantly influence the work environment nonphysical, (2) leadership and the working environment of nonphysical significant effect on work spirit, and (3) leadership, work environment non-physical, and work spirit significant effect on performance employees.

This study aims to determine and clarify the effect of work environment and work motivation for workload and its implementation on employee performance. Respondents 67 employees (entire population). Data collection is done through interviews and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using path analysis (SmartPls 3.0 software) and correlation matrix between dimensions (SmartPls 3.0 software). The results showed that: (1) Work Environment and Motivation both partially and simultaneously affect Employee Performance; (2) Work environment, motivation and workload both partially and simultaneously affect employee performance; (3) Workload mediates the work environment and motivation on performance. Based on the analysis of the correlation matrix between dimensions, to improve the Work Environment, which has a positive correlation with Workload, it is recommended to maintain and improve the dimensions of Non-Physical Work Environment and also for employee performance also to improve the Physical Environment dimension. To increase motivation, which has a positive correlation with workload, it is recommended to maintain and improve hygiene. And for employee performance that is increasing the dimensions of intrinsic appreciation. To increase the workload that has a positive correlation with employee performance it is advisable to maintain and improve the dimensions of frustration

Abstrak - Penelitian ini dibuat dengan didasarkan pada sebuah permasalahan terhadap faktor secara fisik di rumah sakit. Termasuk hal mengenai peralatan dan sarana prasarana kerja yang belum tertata dengan baik, temperatur ruangan tempat bekerja terasa panas dan tidak dingin, tempat bekerja yang kurang nyaman dan kondusif, terjadi kepadatan di lingkungan kerja, polusi suara yang tinggi menyebabkan kebisingan pada lingkungan kerja, luas ruangan kurang memadai yang mengakibatkan area perekam medis tersebut bekerja termasuk dalam beraktivitas berdampak buruk terhadap tingkat fokus bekerja tenaga perekam medis secara langsung. Pada akhirnya kenyamanan kerja tenaga perekam medis terganggu. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling bola salju dalam penentuan sampel serta memakai metode penelitian deskriptif dan verifikatif dalam pembahasan dan pengolahan penelitian. Data primer merupakan teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai dan juga teknik data sekunder. Penelitian ini menghasilkan informasi bahwa lingkungan bekerja, konsentrasi dan kenyamanan bekerja masuk dalam kategori cukup baik. Dari kegiatan wawancara dan kuesioner terhadap 9 sampel yang diuji melalui lembar study kasus, menghasilkan informasi bahwa secara bersama-sama lingkungan bekerja fisik mempunyai pengaruh yang positif serta signifikan terhadap kenyamanan kerja. Pengaruh lingkungan bekerja terhadap kepuasan bekerja diperoleh besaran nilai yaitu 66,7%, kemudian faktor lain yang juga mempengaruhi akan tetapi tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan besaran nilai 33,3%.  Abstract - This research was made based on a problem with physical factors in the hospital. Including matters regarding work equipment and infrastructure that have not been properly organized, the room temperature is hot and not cold, the work place is less comfortable and conducive, there is density in the work environment, high noise pollution causes noise in the work environment, the area of ​​the room inadequate which resulted in the location of the medical recorder working including in activities having a negative impact on the level of focus of the medical recorders work directly. In the end, the work comfort of the medical recorders was disrupted. This study uses snowball sampling techniques in determining the sample and uses descriptive and verification research methods in the discussion and research processing. Primary data is a data collection technique used as well as secondary data techniques. This research produces information that the work environment, concentration and work comfort are in the good enough category. From interviews and questionnaires to 9 samples tested through the case study sheet, it provides information that together the physical work environment has a positive and significant effect on work comfort. The influence of the work environment on job satisfaction obtained a value of 66.7%, then other factors that also influence but are not discussed in this study show a value of 33.3%..

In the business world today is growing rapidly this can be seen competition between companies.PT. Telesindo Shop as the official dealer of Telkomsel always improves the quality and quantity of the company.In this study reasearchers are interest in conducting research at PT. Telesindo Shop chapter Batam which aims to determine whether there is influence or how much influence the work stress, work conflict and physical work environment on employee performance. This study uses quantitative methods with data collection techniques through quentionnairies. Sample in this study were 30 people using full sample methods.The results of the study concluded that work stress, work conflict and physical environment partially have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Meanwhile, simultaneously work stress, work conflict and work environment together have influences on employee performance at PT. Telesindo Shop chapter Batam. The most dominant variable is the physical environment. The results of this study imply that work stress, conflict and environment are things that need to be considered to improve employee performance to be better for the realization of company goals.
