The industrial revolution is all life activies using teknology, including in educational institutions that have to improvise learning model. Learning is a process of imitating the example of educators in teaching students' knowledge, attitudes and skills.Lecturers are educators who have the authority to change the way of thinking and how to act towards the development of superior character, so lecturers need competency in the learning model. The learning model requires direct interaction so that the process of seeding values, culture and language manners occurs correctly. This model can be called an offline-based learning process. Offline learning has limited access to reference sources from websites and learning requires face-to-face learning. The referral source facilities available in the campus library are limited, while the online-based referral resource facilities are provided by UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. This learning model provides global and fast access while learning and searching for various reference sources. The learning model is blended learning. Blended learning is mixed learning that combines conventional, face-to-face learning models with remote learning using internet networks. Lecturers use an offline process in the form of face to face at the beginning of the lecture to explain the learning scenario. After that, learning uses the e-learning website facility that is owned by UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. This research approach uses qualitative, the type of research is a case study. This research will work to find facts on how the implementation of learning activities through blended learning at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The findings show that the blended learning model is implemented by developing a combination of conventional approaches, namely face-to-face learning using website-based learning, e-learning at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, which then succeeded in improving the quality of student learning.

The COVID-19 pandemic has become a global health disaster since March 2020 and has had a significant impact on education. The education system forced to change from a face-to-face learning model to a virtual one to reduce the spread of COVID-19. These extraordinary conditions that lasted no less than one year give various responses from both teachers and learners perspectives. This study examines secondary school teachers and learners perspectives regarding education in the future post, Covid-19 pandemic. This paper used the descriptive method by qualitative approach. Furthermore, this study was conducted by distributing online questionnaires from 5 provinces in Indonesia, involving 40 teachers and 28 learners. The results of this study indicate that (1) e-learning has not fully accommodated some educational values that can be transmitted through classical learning process only, (2) direct interaction are the most lost value during e-learning, (3) the sustainability of e-learning depends on the readiness of resources and infrastructure, and (4) blended learning is the suitable learning model for future education. From the result of these studies, identifying the suitable blended learning model for future education sustainability in every level of education is essential to be further studies as the stakeholder's reference in implementation learning models.

<p><strong> </strong></p><p align="center"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p>               <em>The development of technology, especially information technology (internet), gradually unintentionally gives influence to education either directly or indirectly. The influence is clearly visible one of them to the method of learning. Learning methods that used to be done only face-to-face in the classroom and make the educator as a center of information (conventional) gradually begin to change towards learning that is also on-line based on the internet as an information center (E-Learning internet based). In STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat E-Learning internet based learning method itself has been introduced and implemented since 2014, but has not been maximally optimized. This is because the method does not have a standard in its implementation, and also conventional face-to-face learning method can not be abandoned completely, hence there is overlap between the two. Accordingly, this study developed a model of learning that combines the concept of conventional learning with the concept of E-Learning internet based called Blended Learning. Blended Learning model is expected to be a solution to the above problems, so that the learning process can be implemented effectively. This research is research and development research (R &amp; D) with the outcome is a product that is learning model design</em>.</p><p align="center"><em> </em></p><p align="center"><strong><em>Abstrak</em></strong></p><p><em>Berkembangnya teknologi khususnya teknologi informasi (internet), berangsur angsur tanpa disadari memberikan pengaruh terhadap pendidikan baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung.

This research is based on the background of the low mathematical problem solving abilities due to less effective learning, especially lack of lesson hours. Blended learning is a two-way learning model namely face-to-face learning and online learning, while E-learning is a face-to-face learning model. The blended learning and e-learning learning model requires online media such as Edmodo. Efforts to address these problems, researchers aim to determine the effect of these two learning on improving mathematical problem solving abilities. The research method used in this study uses quasi-experimental methods (Quasy experimental design) with the type of research used is the pretest-posttest control group design. The data collection technique uses a randomized class technique, where the population is all eighth grade students of SMP N 21 Bandar Lampung. The hypothesis test used is gain-test with analysis techniques using one way ANOVA. <p class="AbstractEnglish"><strong>Abstract: </strong>Developing digital learning innovation with the Blended POE2WE model aims (1) to access knowledge without time and space limitation, (2) to establish internet-based communication, (3) to make learning easier and more enjoyable, and (4) to create more interactive and innovative learning process. The method was literacy (library study). Electronic Data Processing was used to manipulate data into more useful information. Data is a raw object, not processed yet and going to be processed. Meanwhile, information is processed data and becomes other useful data. Digital learning is the product of industrial revolution 4.0. It deals with a large collection of computers in networks that are tied together so that many users can share their vast resources. Besides, the Prediction, Observation, Explanation, Elaboration, Write and Evaluation (POE2WE) learning model was developed from the POEW learning model and the Physics learning model with a constructivist approach. As a consequence, Blended Learning is used to synthesize face-to-face learning and online-based learning into an integrated mix so that can create a high, efficient, and attractive impact. Blended learning practically means that learning (classroom-based learning) is also facilitated with other electronic formats (e-learning) to create an optimal learning program. This is due to that the use of e-learning is very superior compared to Conventional Learning (face-to-face).</p><p class="AbstractEnglish"><strong>Abstrak: </strong>Pengembangan inovasi pembelajaran digital dengan model <em>Blended POE2WE</em><em> </em>bertujuan untuk<em> </em>(1) mengakses pengetahuan setiap saat tak terbatas waktu dan tempat (2) menjalin komunikasi berbasis internet (3) menciptakan pembelajaran lebih mudah dan menyenangkan.

This article aims to review the potential of a Blended learning model implementation in Indonesian higher education institutions during the time of Covid-19. This conceptual paper attempts to explain the concept of Blended learning in terms of theory and practice, based on the literature discussed in several reputable international journals. Blended learning is defined as a learning model integrating face-to-face instruction with an online learning environment or e-learning. Initially, this model proposes to improve the deficiencies of a traditional learning model which is lack of technological resources, and at the same time to develop the gap of e-learning practice which is lack of a face-to-face learning experience. In the blended instruction, students will learn through face-to-face interaction in the classroom and supported by digital media such as a Website, Video, or Learning Management System (LMS). Meanwhile, the use of technologies is ordinarily applied for students' learning and peer-interaction outside of the class, especially for online discussion and homework submission. This method emphasizes that learning activity should not only occur in the classroom but also outside of the class through the digital device.

This article reports on the use of blended learning in higher education. Blended learning has become popular in higher education in recent years. It is a move beyond traditional lecturing to incorporate face-to-face learning with e-learning, thereby creating a blend of learning experiences. The problem is that learning in higher education is complex and learning situations differ across contexts. Whilst there is face-to-face contact at some institutions, others offer distance learning or correspondence learning. In each context, the mode of learning may differ. The challenge is to cater for various learning opportunities through a series of learning interactions and to incorporate a blended approach. The aim of this study was to examine various ways of defining blended learning in different contexts. This was done through an examination of experiences of the use of blended learning in different higher education contexts. The study presents a case of blended learning in a postgraduate course. The experiences from all these cases are summarised and conclusions and recommendations are made in the context of blended learning in higher education in South Africa.

The article focuses on the teaching English to Master's students using blended learning approach. To meet the demand of professional standards teachers at Togliatti State University are to form foreign language communicative competence having just a few academic hours for oral communication. The suggested Project-Based Blended Learning Model is considered to be a solution to this problem. This Model consists of four basic elements: face-to-face learning, a Web 2.0 application LearningApps, MOOC Coursera and Reading Science. The way to implement the Model into educational process is shown. The paper is based on the own unique survey that yields some interesting results which prove the effectiveness of this Blended Learning Model. It gives the opportunity to create the environment for providing a learning pathway and the learning process control.

Blended learning is basically a combination or mixture found in learning practice. Blended learning is a further development of the e-learning method, namely learning methods that combine e-learning systems with conventional or face-to-face methods. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the models and learning devices both in terms of content and model constructs, as well as to find out student responses to the model developed. The model developed was validated through a forum mechanism, namely, focus group discussion (FGD) which was followed by researchers and experts. The suggestions and improvements generated from the validation activities were then followed up to revise the Inquiry Collaborative Tutorial-based blended learning model. Inquiry Collaborative Tutorial-based blended learning model and learning devices developed in this study have met valid criteria in content and construct. Valid content because there are elements of need and novelty, as well as valid constructs because there is consistency between parts of the model and there is relevance between the models developed with learning theories that underlie it. In general, the average student responds positively to the blended learning model based on the Inquiry Collaborative Tutorial. The model applied is considered to provide opportunities for students to actively participate.

In this chapter we present our work aimed at interweaving e-learning and face-to-face learning in Calculus courses for undergraduate engineering students. This type of blended learning (BL) contains the best properties of e-learning and face-to-face learning and helps overcome many obstacles in traditional teaching. We use our approach in order to improve students’ conceptual understanding of theorems. We describe online assignments specifically designed to help students better understand the meaning of a theorem. These assignments are given to students in addition to traditional lectures and tutorials with the objective that they can learn to learn on their own. Students “discover” the theorem and study it independently, by using a “bank” of examples and a lot of theoretical exercises we supply. The assignments are built in such a way that students receive feedback and instructions in response to their Web-based activity.
