Integrated Education Programmes Evolution in Poland

One of the aspects of reforming education in Poland is the curricular reform. Since 1999 until today there have appeared four core curricula of the general education (1999, 2009, 2014, 2017) and several programmes of the integrated education. The purpose of the presented research was to show the changes taking place in early childhood education programmes in 21st century. The research used contents analysis of the following documents: the core curricula and teaching programmes. The presented text includes the synthesis of the programmes research that the author has carried out over the past two decades. Research shows that the most new programmes appeared in 1999, nonetheless, the quantity did not always match the quality. Their authors lacked theoretical foundations and practical experience in constructing such programmes. The research shows that the authors of programmes are increasingly aware of the paradigms that should be present in child education, hence the preferred place they give to constructivism. To the positive changes in the programmes I include the following elements:: individualisation of the education process, applying the diversified methods of working with child, change in the position of a teacher manifested in departing from the transfer of knowledge in favour of diagnosing and supporting child development as well as animating the process of discovering knowledge, indicating the role of parents as school partners. Especially noteworthy are the programmes that arose as a result of competitions and projects implemented in our country. Unfortunately, the fast pace of transformations causes that they have not been disseminated, and their interestingly developed e-learning platforms have disappeared from the Internet. The analysis of the programmes that were created in 2017 shows that they have regressed.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to examine the potential role of information literacy (IL) within the changing context of the e-learning environment at the University of Jos in recent years. It focuses and emphasises the role of the University library in facilitating teaching and learning through the use of e-learning platforms in teaching information retrieval skills. The paper aims to identify gaps in students’ information skills that could be addressed through IL instruction. Design/methodology/approach – The study employed a case study research design while the methodology involved the administration of structured questionnaires to the two groups of respondents. Findings – Findings from the study provide useful insights to the skills challenges experienced by students and point to a need for effective collaboration between the library, faculty and management in order to promote a better approach to learning at the institution. Originality/value – By emphasising the role of the library, the paper contributes to previous studies on e-learning at the University and provides a basis for further research in this regard.

With the advent of internet and exponentially growing smartphone market, chatbots are becoming popular and are being widely used for interactions in varied fields. This study investigated the usage of chatbots for educational/learning purpose by university students. Wide research has been done exploring usage of chatbots in service industry; still there is vacuum regarding usage of chatbots in education for effective learning. Using path analysis, the study demonstrates validation of two newly added constructs as an extension in Technology Adoption Model and tries to understand the antecedents for intension to adopt chatbots. This study is of utmost importance to researchers, policy makers, system designers for e- learning platforms, teachers, and students in order to make learning effective.

This study aims to analyze online-based learning during the Covid 19 pandemic and the role of parents during the online learning process. This research was conducted at private SD Yaspenhan-1 Medan Marelan. This research uses qualitative research methods based on descriptive studies. The data was collected by means of interview techniques, observation and documentation study. Data analysis through data presentation techniques and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using tringulation and methods. The results showed that online-based learning at the Private SD Yaspenhan-1 Medan Marelan made effective online-based learning media such as what app, e-learning, Google Class Room, zoom and other applications. The role of parents in online-based learning is very significant to improve learning outcomes. This role is in the form of supervision of children's learning activities at home. Without supervision, it will be difficult to maximize children's learning outcomes.

The objective of this chapter is to study the effect of the color of e-learning platforms as an atmospheric variable of the interface on the learning process. It focuses on two important variables: memorization and trust. First, it aims to explore the effect of color on the memorization of the educational content available in an e-learning platform. It investigates if the colored appearance of an e-learning system reinforces readability, suitability, and above all the memorizing process leading to learning. Second, it investigates the effect of color on trust in an e-learning platform and in the e-learning content. The chapter offers an examination of the role of the interface and the color in e-learning and memorization and presents trust in e-learning based on an exploratory qualitative study on how trust is developed in a website, as a result of the colors of the online interface. A case of an e-learning platform has been investigated to understand how the colors of the interface can enhance student memorization of the content as well as trust.

Acknowledging the central role of parents in children’s learning, the EU-funded project SMASH aims to raise the educational standards of European youth in mathematics and science by cultivating underlying home cultures as springboards for learning. The project consortium has developed, pilot tested, and delivered an innovative intercultural parent-trainer training course and related resources for professionals involved in parent education initiatives. Through the adoption of a blended learning approach that combines e-learning with physical meetings, the course equips these professionals with current knowledge, techniques, and implementation tools for the provision of high-quality, inquiry-based parent training in mathematics and science education. Individuals completing the course are trained to offer programs designed to educate parents of elementary and middle school children (ages 6-15) in how to best support their child’s mathematics and science learning at home using pedagogically sound strategies and technologies. Parents unable to attend parent-training sessions could still study independently using the project information base, which provides open access to the project’s outputs and resources.

Visualization is currently used as a data analysis tool and considered a way of communicating knowledge and ideas in many areas of life such as science, education, medicine, marketing, and advertisement. The chapter contains complex interdisciplinary material and attempts to construct a general framework of visualization roles in learning. The structure of this content is presented on Figure 1 as a kind of mind map. Authors emphasize that visualization mechanisms are designed taking into account analytical and content-related potential, timeliness, online availability, and aesthetics. But classical (tabular) forms still remain dominant in information presentation. A good portion of the discussion is dedicated to the alternative solution – non-linear layout, such as network or fractals. Several visualization maps with specifically designed architecture are demonstrated as important elements of contemporary education. Authors consider the potential and implementation of these tools in e-learning platforms. Parallely, they underline the role of interdisciplinary collaboration in map making processes. Researchers in different fields can apply contemporary trends in visualization including natural shape perception, 3D representation problems, as well as the aspects of neuroaesthetics.

Islam views that the first education carried out is family education. The educational situation is realized thanks to the association and the relationship of mutual influence between parents and children. Allah swt gives a lot of descriptions of how parents should educate their children in the Qur'an, which in general education must be based on love for children. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the role of parents in children's education is even greater at home. Because learning that is carried out online, either through zoom meetings, classroom, google meet, whatsapp and other applications, limits the monitoring or supervision of teachers on children's learning activities, this task is now the responsibility of parents. Many cases occur in online learning, especially the problem of children's interest in learning which generally shows poor results. This can be seen from the lack of attention of children in the tasks given by the teacher, slow in collecting until they do not do the task, children are lazy in following the learning process and so on. Regarding this problem, the author sees that the role of parents is very important in increasing children's interest in learning, namely by implementing effective communication both verbally and non-verbally, by always providing advice, motivation, encouragement and education about the importance of learning even though it is only done online. Through this, it is hoped that there will be an increase in children's interest in learning so that children's learning achieves better and maximum results.

The article examines the opportunities and challenges for the use of ICT in science education in the light of science teachers’ Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK). Some of the variables that have been studied with regard to TPACK framework in science classrooms (such as teachers' self-efficacy, gender, teaching experience, teachers’ believes, etc.) are reviewed, also variations of TPACK framework specific for science education are elaborated. In conclusion some of the aspects of TPACK in science education that need to be addressed in future are indicated, e.g. the development of subject specific ICT-based resources and e-learning platforms; training to develop science teachers’ integrated skills for the implementation of ICT in their subject teaching; the importance of continuous encouraging of science teachers’ for their participation in in-service training related to the use of ICT; and the examination of the role of science teachers’ TPACK in developing of students’ 21st century trans-disciplinary skills.

the aim of the research is to identify the role of e-learning platforms in enhancing the academic performance of undergraduate students, and to identify the obstacles to their application in the history department, and the researcher relied on the descriptive approach to answer the research questions. The first stage, and the second stage), and the variable gender (male, female). The necessary data was collected using a questionnaire prepared by the researcher consisting of (30) paragraphs divided equally into two parts. The first included the role of the Google Classroom platform in enhancing the electronic performance of undergraduate students in the history department, while the second was the obstacles to using electronic educational platforms (the Google Classroom platform In the educational process, the stability of the questionnaire was verified, as the first part reached (0.87) and the second (0.89). After applying the questionnaire and analyzing the results statistically, the research results revealed that the evaluation of the research sample for the effectiveness of e-learning according to the Google Classroom platform was (high). As for the obstacles to using the Google Classroom platform, it was (low) and there were no statistical indications in the stage and gender variable. The researcher recommended holding training courses and workshops in the field of e-learning and assisting learners to get rid of the obstacles they face in the educational process, and the need for future marriage between e-learning and attendance in Iraqi universities, as well as a number of proposals, namely, conducting a study to evaluate the role of the Google Classroom platform in various branches Other knowledge, and a study on the obstacles to using e-learning from the faculty point of view.
