Organizational development requires human resources. Professional organizations manage systems and the organizational mechanisms of existing resources to support flexible responses of change. Hospitals are a part of the service industry and have extraordinarily complex business processes, and a large potential for optimization and efficiency improvements. The aim of this study is to explore the relationship between emotional intelligence and team performance during the inter-institutionalized collaboration work process. This study was conducted in the South Sulawesi and Central Sulawesi Province’s hospitals. The study lasted for six months in 2017. The sampling was done by using the cluster method and stratified random sampling, which was based on hospital type and the level of health officers. The data analysis approach used in this study was the partial least square (PLS), using WarpPLS software. The results show that emotional intelligence significantly and positively affected team performance with a path coefficient value of 0.138 and a p-value of 0.050. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant direct influence of emotional intelligence on team performance.

Population in this research are students in Nahdlatul Ulama University of Surabaya total of the sample are 368 from 4.536 students. This research are quantitative method with spread 368 questionnaires. The technique analyze of this research use SEM – PLS (partial least square) software. Free variable of this research is service quality (X), intervening variable is satisfaction (Z) and bunch variable is student’s loyalty (Y). The result of this research shown that service quality (X) have positive impact and significant to students loyalty (Y) have positive impact and significant with path coefficient 0,67 with p – value < 0,001 (significant on 1%). While service quality (X) have positive impact and significant to students loyalty through satisfaction variable (Z) shown positive impact and significant with path coefficient 0,47 with p - value < 0,001 ( significant on 1%).

The purpose of this study is to analyze whether the compensation and supervisor support variables mediated by job satisfaction affect employee retention at PT Pradu. The population in this study were 55 employees of the non-academic division. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling, namely the sampling technique where the number was the same as the population. The type of data used in this study uses primary data which is done by distributing questionnaires directly to Pradu employees. The research data analysis technique used structural equation modeling (SEM) with the Smart PLS (Partial Least Square) version 3.2.7 program. The results of data analysis found that the R-square of the compensation and supervisor support variables in explaining the job satisfaction variable was 0.701 or about 70% and 30% was explained by other factors outside of this study. While the compensation variable, supervisor support, and job satisfaction in explaining the employee retention variable amounted to 0.325 or about 32.5% and 67.5% was explained by other factors outside of this study. A total of 5 hypotheses were accepted and 2 hypotheses were rejected after testing with the limit of t-statistics> t-table 1.96 and P-Value

Life expectancy is an estimation of life spans that can be attained in a region. Life expectancy is an indicator of the amount of a country’s public health. Life expectancy also can be a benchmark for evaluating the government’s performance in health, social and economic fields. So, we need a statistic model to analyze the factors that affect life expectancy in East Java. The data analysis using multiple linear regression method with Ordinary Least Square (OLS) approach is not enough if some of OLS assumption is not fulfilled. That is why to overcome that problem we use Spatial Autoregressive Model (SAR) method which is used to know the spatial lag on variable response and parameter estimate. According to the data analysis, on the spatial aspect the data has fulfilled the assumption of spatial dependency using Moran’s I with p-value of  0,004315. The spatial weighted matrices that is used is weighted matrices Queen Contiguity. There is the coefficient of determination value (R2) and Akaike’s Information Criterion (AIC) from Spatial Autoregressive Model that is better than OLS consecutively that is 72,459% and 137,36. The significant factor that affect life expectancy on every region/city in East Java is the percentage of households that live clean and health (X7) and the percentage of poor people (X8).

The study was conducted at BBPOM in Denpasar. The number of samples used was as many as 90 people using the saturated sample selection method. Data collection using a questionnaire that uses a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques were performed using structural equation modeling with a partial least square approach and using the VAF test to test the role of mediation. The results showed that emotional intelligence had a significant positive effect on employee performance at BBPOM in Denpasar with a path coefficient of 0.469. Job satisfaction is known to partially mediate the relationship of emotional intelligence to employee performance at BBPOM in Denpasar. The findings in this study provide the implication that to produce good performance in order to achieve excellent service, it is necessary to have activities in the form of training related to emotional intelligence and job satisfaction that can effectively improve employee skills to have an understanding and sensitivity to emotions of themselves and others, so that employees can deal well with all forms of organizational life dynamics and show maximum performance to achieve excellent service.

Purpose This paper aims to explore the relationship between knowledge sharing factors, emotional intelligence and team conflict on the team performance during the inter-institutionalized collaboration work process. Design/methodology/approach This study was conducted in South Sulawesi and Central Sulawesi Province’s hospitals. The study lasted for six months in 2017. The sampling was done by using cluster method and stratified random sampling, which was based on Hospital Type, level of Health Officers. These characteristics were considered to have represented quite heterogeneous information about the characteristics of health workers. Data analysis approach used in this study was partial least square (PLS) using WarpPLS software. Findings Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant direct influence between emotional intelligence to knowledge management, emotional intelligence to team conflict, and emotional intelligence to team performance. Originality/value Some previous research studies that have been done are by Hasanyl et al. (2015), Othman (2010), Sathitsemakul (2005), Nóra. Obermayer-Kovács (2014), Troth (2009), Leung (2010) and Luca and Tarricone (2001). The novelty of this research is on the effort to see the mediation of knowledge sharing, team conflict and structure mechanism to other variables developed in the research model.
