With globalization and the emergence of a growing number of international companies, the influence of national culture on various aspects of human life in management has become particularly important in recent decades in modern business. Due to the encounter of different cultures from all over the world, it is impossible to avoid the influence of these cultural differences and the possibility of conflicts is great, so modern leaders and managers try to find good techniques of proper management of different people using knowledge of national culture. Any form of conflict, even constructive conflicts, can have a negative impact on the work performance of employees, and in international companies a large number of conflicts is a direct consequence of a lack of understanding of national culture. Teleworking and flexible forms of work are the result of the technological revolution and globalization. Although insufficiently researched form of work, it is gaining more and more attention of the authors. Managers face new challenges in managing employees working remotely, especially in multinational and multiethnic environments of international companies, so it is important to explore aspects that affect their work performance.

Аннотация: В статье обращено внимание на исключительную роль книги в жизни человека, воспитание молодежи. Книга сопровождает человека всю жизнь. Однако в последние годы замечается снижение интереса к чтению книг. Отдается предпочтение компьютеру, играм, телевизору, слушанию музыки через наушники. Во избежание деградации личности, в воспитании грамотной, гуманной, толерантной личности необходимо приучать подрастающее поколение к вдумчивому чтению книг. Значительное место в развитии личности занимает внеклассное чтение, к которому нужно прививать интерес еще во время учебы в младшем возрасте. В мире особая роль принадлежит межличностным отношениям, формированию такой личности, которая могла бы жить в согласии с носителями разных культур. Для формирования поликультурной личности важная роль принадлежит культурному наследию, основу которого составляют книги. Ключевые слова: роль книги, гуманная личность, толерантная личность, библиографические материалы, указатели библиографических данных, справочная литература, поликультурная личность, внеклассное чтение, информатизация, интерес к чтению. Аннотация: Макалада адамдын жашоосундагы жаштарды тарбиялоодогу китептин өзгөчө мааниси, ролуна өзгөчө көңүл бурулган. The book accompanies a person all his life. However, in recent years, there has been a decline in interest in reading books. Preference is given to a computer, games, TV, listening to music through headphones. In order to avoid degradation of the personality, it is necessary to accustom the younger generation to thoughtful reading of books. a significant place in the development of personality takes extracurricular reading, to which you need to instill interest even while studying at a younger age. In the world a special role belongs to interpersonal relationship, the formation of such a personality, who could live in harmony with speakers of different cultures. Th e article discusses new challenges to the system of supreme governmental audit bodies. The transformation of financial control bodies is necessary in modern conditions, as it allows to overcome the diffi culties of implementing control measures in a pandemic and to be able to reorient towards their implementation in the remote work mode, without reducing their effi ciency and quality. Th e article is devoted to the study of the rapidly proceeding processes of digitalization of state fi nancial control, which are acquiring special relevance in modern conditions.


The article is dedicated to the analysis of the changes in HR management practices in Ukrainian enterprises during the pandemic. Introduction of the anti-epidemic restrictions has a large impact on market situation, and labor market in particular, creating a critical situation for enterprises. In such situation new challenges in HR management emerge, which, have being solved successfully, will allow mitigating the consequences of the pandemic for enterprises and workers. Since such conditions are completely novel, there is a lack of the systemic research of the factors that influence managerial decision-making. The article is aimed at the identification and analysis of the most significant challenges emerging in the area of HR management due to the epidemic hazard spread and the introduction of the anti-epidemic restrictions. The research is based on the results of the expert interview with different level managers of the private and state enterprises operating in the areas of education, science, IT, finance and service. Data reveal that the most problematic challenge was the transition to remote work leading to the technical, psychological, and methodical difficulties in the work performance. Moreover, the different level of availability of the remote work in different enterprises and areas conditions unequal influence made by the crisis on workers and the intensification of socioeconomic inequalities. Another important aspect is the informal relationships management and the integration of workers, since consolidated work groups appear more resistant toward the stress of the abrupt changes in working conditions. The situation of uncertainty regarding the future development of the pandemic and the introduction of anti-epidemic measures shortens the strategic planning perspective and bears high conflict potential, which will complicate labor market recession. It is suggested to use the presented results for the further detailed and systemic research of the influence made by the pandemic on the changes in HR management practices in the context of the global transformations of labor relationships.

The relevance of the study is dictated by the introduction of digitalization in all spheres of human life, and timely protection of information and personal data of citizens in the first place. The objective of the study was the need to transform the methods and approaches of information protection during its transmission, creation and storage. Methodological arsenal of the study is presented by scientific methods of cognition of the studied phenomenon content, the structuring of its components and the system of generalization, and analysis of the causal relationship between the visualization functionality and information security of management decisions. The author analyzed the main virtualization technologies for digital business transformation and concluded that there is the need to improve the legal framework in this area. The significance of this article lies in the fact that the use of the virtualization method will increase the level of business security with minimal losses. Current GOST R 56938-2016 "Information protection when using virtualization technologies" does not fully reflect the issues of information protection in terms of its visualization, which leads to the need to improve the legal framework when using virtualization technologies for data protection. It is essential to pay special attention to cloud storage, collaboration and communication services, remote project management programs, cybersecurity solutions, and CRM systems. This is particularly relevant today during the emergence of virtual workplaces and transferring employees to remote work from home.

AbstractHumour has various faces and forms, deriving from double meanings, situations, wordplay, often with hidden or obvious cultural references. It may also be subjective; the same things may seem humorous for some people and not funny at all for others. Probably most translators would agree that translating humour is definitely a very challenging task, especially when it is strictly related to the language itself or to a certain culture or community. However, there are certain forms of humour, especially situational or anecdotal, which focus on universal aspects or elements of human life, and therefore may be understood and considered as funny by people from different cultures. In this study, we discuss some theories, principles, recommended techniques and strategies related to translating jokes, wordplay, and humorous idioms which in our opinion may be included in the translator-training curriculum. We also examine the strategies and techniques used by a group of translator trainees in their second year of studies in translating humour from English into Hungarian, focusing on the difficulties they encountered, in order to assess their needs and include more practice and useful tips in the training process.

Globalisation and increasing digitisation mean that companies must increasingly orientate themselves internationally in order to become (more) competitive or to remain competitive. Promoting e-working can revitalise rural development. The issue involved is always interaction between people from different cultures, between people who, according to their cultural backgrounds, feel, think and act differently. When cultural diversity and differences are taken into account, greater creativity, more diverse ideas and faster problem solving are achieved. The cultural dimensions, according to Geert Hofstede, offer a comprehensive model for capturing the various expressions of intercultural values. This paper examines the motives for applying e-working in selected European countries in 2018 according to Hofstede’s six dimensions of national culture. Twenty-eight countries from the Eurostat database were analysed (Finland and the Netherlands were excluded, and software detected them in the e-working variable as outliers). Correlation with e-working is statistically significant at PDI (power distance index - negative: the lower the PDI index, the higher the proportion of e-working) and IVR index (indulgence versus restraint - positive: the higher the IVR index, the higher the proportion of e-working).

In recent years, all economically developed countries of the world experience formation of knowledge economy as the highest stage of postindustrial economy development. International companies, basing their activity on accumulation of human capital according to the principles of innovativeness, scientific nature, continuity and progressiveness, play an important role in activation of this process. Owing to global nature of their activity it influences all spheres of human life in the world, improving it, as well as having an adverse impact (enhancement of poverty in some regions of the word, environment pollution, etc.). Achievement of these conditions of sustainable economic growth is possible just by the way of prevention of the adverse impact, which, among other things, depends on the active social position of the management of international companies. Therefore this paper is aimed at identification of priority focuses of socially responsible activity of international companies. This goal was achieved through generalization of basic program initiatives of the activity of three companies, leading in innovations (Apple, Samsung and IBM). Adoption of the above-mentioned initiatives by other companies of the world as guides while developing their own development strategy has to facilitate the growth of positive effects from enhancement of knowledge economy in the world.

As part of the response to Covid 19, working from home (WFH) was enforced by governments of more than 150 countries in order to curtail the transmission of the pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic had brought new business ideas, making organizations change how they conduct their business. This study aims to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of working from home in the scientific literature, using questionnaires, how employees feel about WFH in the aspects of family values, increase of performance, isolation and disrupts work-life balance, how workers cope with WFH. Data was collected from the primary source by using a structured questionnaire completed through google form. The target respondents were employers and employees both from the private sector of the economy . Data was gathered from 504 respondents. SPSS and Excel were used to analyse the data. The majority of the respondents were employees (76.98%), while 23.02% were employers. An inquiry was also made about the marital status of the respondents, and the majority (71.83%) were married while 28.17% were single. The study showed that respondents were still able to connect with their teammates despite working from home, frequently communicate with leaders, and have clarity on working from home policies. It can also be seen that the majority of the respondents enjoyed working from home, although they still look forward to returning to the office. Findings on working from home on family values show that this work style positively influences availability at the home front. Findings on the effect on work performance show average agreement on the positive impact of working from home. Agreement on the negative impact of working from home on office/social interaction and work-life balance was also seen to be on average. It can be inferred from this study that working from home is a work style that employees would prefer to continue post-COVID-19.

Technological development has changed human life style. Child's world that was once filled with traditional games has now been eroded by technological advances. Nowadays online games that replace traditional games are not only favored by children, almost all levels of human age like playing online games. But behind it all there is a negative impact that haunts its users. This study aims to reveal the negative side of using online games from the point of view of Islam and Islamic Psychology. The technique used is literature review by compiling some previous articles. The results showed that excessive use of online games will give a bad impact on the physical and psychological users, such as visual impairment, sleep disturbance, addiction, violence and stress. The use of online games is also considered more disadvantage than the benefits and it’s seen as an activity that wastes time, and it is prohibited in Islam.

Ensuring the environment is safe for human life and health is one of the vital goals of the entire world community. Seaports inevitably affect the atmosphere, hydrosphere and soil. The main source of environmental pollution are merchant ships, which produce the most danger for the marine environment. The solution to the problem of waste management should be carried out through the state regulation, which should take into account the national characteristics of the population and the positive experience of European legislation. The author notes that the effective functioning and development of seaports depends on a number of factors, including the level of their technological and technical equipment, development of maritime infrastructure, compliance of the management system with modern international requirements, provision of regulatory framework. The current legislation of Ukraine and the requirements of the European legislation in the field of waste management are considered and analyzed. Approaches to solving the global problem in the context of European integration are proposed, namely: creating the necessary regulatory framework to reduce ship waste and cargo residues into the sea, as well as preventing or limiting the negative impact of seaports on the environment and human health; creation of modern infrastructure. The lack of regulation has a direct impact on the environment, on the efficiency of not only the port and transport industry, but also the economy as a whole. The study aims to highlight a fundamental criterion − waste management in the ports of Ukraine. It is concluded that in Ukraine there is no clear organizational structure of waste management. The author concludes that it is necessary to use European standards for waste management in ports
