This article analyzes some of the most significant groups of artists of the exuberant eighties in Cuba. Among the great variety of groups that appeared in this period, we are going to focus on those that, with greater clarity, use performance as a fundamental medium. This use of an ephemeral and unconventional discipline will reinforce the ties between the community of artists and the Cuban people at large, at a time when many still considered it possible to solve the many failures of the system through spontaneous and disinterested art. Pursuing this objective, the artists held firm to the hope that something could change and, sure of this conviction, they promoted collaborative work such as had not been seen since the historical avant-gardes in Cuba. After the devastating economic and social crisis of the 1990s, hope started to disappear. The arrival of the new century perpetuated hardship and managed to squander the former spirit of solidarity - not only among artists - but also among an important part of society. However, it seems correct to conclude that the current tense political context can function as a deterrent of disunity and individualism. The important popular protests against the government that took place on July 11, 2021, have caused a large number of creators, intellectuals and people outside the artistic field to decide to work again in community. El presente artículo propone analizar algunos de los grupos de artistas más significativos de la explosiva década de los ochenta en Cuba. Dentro de la gran variedad de colectivos que aparecen en este periodo, vamos a centrarnos en aquellos que, con mayor claridad, utilizan la performance como medio fundamental. Este uso de una disciplina efímera y poco convencional reforzará los lazos de unión entre la comunidad de artistas y el pueblo en un momento en el que todavía se veía posible solventar los numerosos fallos del sistema a través de un arte espontáneo y desinteresado. Persiguiendo este objetivo, los artistas mantuvieron firme la esperanza de que algo podía cambiar y, seguros de esta convicción, potenciaron el trabajo colaborativo como no se había visto desde las vanguardias históricas en Cuba. Tras la devastadora crisis económica y de valores de los noventa, la esperanza desaparece. La llegada del nuevo siglo perpetuó la penuria y consiguió dilapidar el otrora espíritu grupal y solidario -no sólo de los artistas- sino de una parte importante de la sociedad. Sin embargo, parece acertado concluir que el tenso contexto político actual anima a sortear la desunión y el individualismo. Las importantes protestas populares contra el gobierno que tuvieron lugar el 11 de julio de 2021, han propiciado que una nutrida representación de creadores, intelectuales y personas ajenas al campo artístico hayan decidido trabajar nuevamente en comunidad.

These books are numbers 4 and 5, respectively, in the series "Studies in the Economic Development of India". The two books are interesting complements to one another, both being concerned with the analysis of projects within national plan formulation. However, they treat different sorts of problems and do so on very different levels. Marglin's Public Investment Criteria is a short treatise on the problems of cost-benefit analysis in an Indian type economy, i.e., a mixed economy in which the government accepts a large planning responsibility. The book, which is wholely theoretical, explains the many criteria needed for evaluation of projects. The work is aimed at beginning students and government officials with some training in economics. It is a clear and interesting "introduction to the special branch of economics that concerns itself with systematic analysis of investment alternatives from the point of view of a government".

The ideological struggle deployed between the Syrian opposition groups and the government during the first year of the Syrian popular uprising is examined in this paper. Force alone was not enough for the regime to crush the revolt, at least during its first twelve months, while protesters were unable to bring down the government. The battle for cultural hegemony had to be won by one of the two sides. Protesters and the regime alike had to deploy their discourses along frames that resonated with the values, hopes and fears of Syrians. The effectiveness of the regime in securing the support of large sections of urban dwellers and its systematic violent repression led to frustration on the part of demonstrators, who ended up supporting at least morally the armed struggle. A stalemate was reached. This led to divergent framing activity within the opposition, which in turn led to its division.Spanish El artículo examina la lucha ideológica que se dio entre los grupos sirios de oposición y el gobierno durante el primer año del levantamiento popular en Siria. Durante los primeros 12 meses a partir de marzo de 2011, al régimen no le bastó con la fuerza bruta para aplastar la revuelta, aunque los manifestantes tampoco lograron tumbar al gobierno. Se dio un combate por la hegemonía cultural y uno de los bandos necesitaba ganarla. Tanto los opositores como el régimen frasearon sus discursos alrededor de aristas conceptuales (frames) en armonía con los valores, esperanzas y temores de la población siria. La e ficacia del régimen en obtener el apoyo de amplios sectores de los habitantes de las principales ciudades y la represión violenta sistemática condujeron a un sentimiento de frustración entre los manifestantes, que terminaron ofreciendo un apoyo al menos moral a la lucha armada. Se llegó a un impasse. Esto a su vez llevó a que diferentes grupos de oposición reconstruyeran su discurso en torno de aristas distintas, lo que generó división.French L'article étudie la lu e idéologique menée entre les groupes d'opposition et le gouvernement pendant la première année du soulèvement populaire en Syrie. Pendant les douze premiers mois, à dater du mois de mars de 2011, la force brute n'a pas suffiau régime pour écraser le mouvement, bien que les manifestants à leur tour n'aient pas réussi à faire tomber le gouvernement. Une lu e pour l'hégémonie culturelle s'est développée et un des deux côtés devait la gagner. L'opposition ainsi que le régime ont encadré (frame) leurs discours de sorte à qu'ils parlent aux valeurs, espoirs et peurs des syriens. Le succès du régime à gagner l'appui (ou le recul) de grands secteurs de la population des villes principales et la répression violente systématique ont produit un sentiment de frustration parmi les manifestants, qui ont fini par soutenir la lu e armée au moins moralement. La situation est arrivée à une impasse. Dans cet état, différents groupes d'opposition ont reformulé leurs discours au tour d'encadrements divergents, ce qui a mené à leur division.

With the advancement of technology, digitalization, and the internet of things, large amounts of complex data are being produced daily. This vast quantity of various data produced at high speed is referred to as Big Data. The utilization of Big Data is being implemented with success in the private sector, yet the public sector seems to be falling behind despite the many potentials Big Data has already presented. In this regard, this paper explores ways in which the government can recognize the use of Big Data for official statistics. It begins by gathering and presenting Big Data-related initiatives and projects across the globe for various types and sources of Big Data implemented. Further, this paper discusses the opportunities, challenges, and risks associated with using Big Data, particularly in official statistics. This paper also aims to assess the current utilization of Big Data in the country through focus group discussions and key informant interviews. Based on desk review, discussions, and interviews, the paper then concludes with a proposed framework that provides ways in which Big Data may be utilized by the government to augment official statistics.

In the middle of the second decade of the twenty-first century, Bosnia and Herzegovina is at the crossroads of political, economic and cultural revitalization of the society as a country that declarative aims for application of European principles of political organization and the membership in the European Union. On this way there are many open issues that are the result of twenty years of political and economic stagnation or collapse of all elements that should be the foundation for the stabilization of a modern democratic society in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The internal reconstruction of the political system and the revitalisation of the institutions of the government or different holders of political reforms means at the same time the fulfilment of the conditions of accession to Euro-Atlantic integration. The development of a unified media policy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the establishment of public media service in accordance with the requirements of the European Union and the interests of all citizens are the top issues among the many current challenges that we have to deal with in the future. But for Bosnia and Herzegovina it is not exclusively the interest of communicational research. It must be necessarily seen in the wider context as a political, cultural and economic issue, because the establishment of a single media/communication system is one of the key requirements for a political compromise, the integration of society and the harmonization of other common (primarily economic) interests for all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. One of the key requirements for defining a unified media policy in Bosnia and Herzegovina is agreeing / reconciliation of all complex (heterogeneous) cultural characteristics, as well as the specific characteristics of modern communication situation in a model that would respond to the specific information needs of citizens and the standards applied by the European Union.


Significance This places two-thirds of Ukrainian regions under the most stringent COVID-19 restrictions. In its second pandemic autumn, Ukraine is performing poorly because this year's vaccination programme has been slow to pick up, until a recent acceleration prompted by tougher restrictions. Vaccine hesitancy has been compounded by a scandal involving fake certificates. Impacts The government will blame the COVID-19 surge for poor macroeconomic performance. President Zelensky's standing will be largely unaffected, as responsibility for restrictions is mostly devolved to regions. COVID-19 will not sideline the many challenges facing the government, currently reflected in an emerging cabinet reshuffle.

The many changes caused by COVID-19 have impacted all areas of our lives. Since the beginning of the pandemic in every country, people have experienced the same fears: getting sick, being left without a livelihood, dying, losing loved ones, etc. In many states, support was provided by both the government and the employer. Our analyze show how the employees themselves assessed the level of relations between them and the company through the connecting thread of corporate culture. We have determined that, in general, in many cases there is an increase in corporate values, information coming from managers is more trustworthy than information from the mass media. Honesty, openness and communication are becoming the new flagships for the development of corporate culture.

ResumenEl presente artículo describio las valoraciones que hacen los docentes sobre los usos de la plataforma virtual como un recurso de enseñanza y aprendizaje en los cursos de informática de la Universidad de Santander, sede Cúcuta.  Para la recolección de la información necesaria para la investigación se empleó una encuesta aplicada a ocho profesores pertenecientes al Departamento de Sistemas de la Universidad. Esta encuesta se complementó con una entrevista semiestructurada centrada en las experiencias subjetivas de tres docentes. Entre los resultados más relevantes aparece que los profesores que participaron en el estudio utilizan frecuentemente la plataforma virtual como complemento para el desarrollo de sus cursos. El manejo apropiado de la plataforma se lleva a cabo como un proceso dinámico e interactivo de tal manera que el profesor constituye la base fundamental de la construcción de ideas en su entorno y muestra que el uso de la plataforma virtual en la formación de los estudiantes universitarios ha logrado que se reflexione sobre las técnicas elementales de la educación y puedan ser aplicadas en los procesos de enseñanza basados en la formación virtual.Palabras clave: recursos pedagógicos, espacios virtuales de aprendizaje, plataforma virtual Moodle, trabajo colaborativo Assessment of the use of the Moodle virtual platform as a pedagogical resource in the university teaching of computer scienceAbstractThis article describes teachers’ assessments regarding the uses of the virtual platform as a teaching and learning resource in informatics courses of the University of Santander, Cúcuta. As a means of collecting the information necessary for the investigation, a survey of eight professors belonging to the Systems Department of the university was carried out. This survey was complemented by a semi-structured interview centered on the subjective experiences of three teachers. Among the most relevant results, it appears that the professors who participated in the study frequently use the virtual platform as a complement for the development of their courses. The appropriate management of the platform is executed as a dynamic and interactive process, in such a way that the teacher functions as the fundamental basis for the construction of ideas in its environment. La presente investigación ha tenido por objetivo analizar la influencia del trabajo colaborativo virtual como herramienta para la creación y mejora del conocimiento curricular de tres profesores de educación física de secundaria. Se ha basado en la investigación educativa de modalidad en línea y en un enfoque cualitativo mediante el diseño de investigación-acción. Los resultados obtenidos han mostrado el potencial del trabajo colaborativo virtual como herramienta de formación para el profesorado de educación física.Palabras clave: aprendizaje virtual, formación permanente, profesorado, educación física.Abstract: The present research is based on the qualitative methodology perspective related to online educational tools. The work aims to evaluate the influence of the collaborative learning to improve the knowledge of three P.E. teachers of secondary school. AbstrakSaat ini banyak sekali terjadi kasus korupsi di pemerintahan maupun sektor swasta dilakukan oleh para lelaki yang sudah memiliki istri dan anak.Dengan adanya penyuluhan ini, diharapkan wanita khususnya anggota BKOW bisa menjadi pelopor dirumah tangga untuk membentuk keluarga anti korupsi baik kepada anak dan suami. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan 4 metode yakni: ceramah, dialog, bedah kasus, dan best practice. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, peserta menjadi antusias, yang terlihat dari banyaknya pertanyan yang diajukan serta terbentuknya komunikasi yang baik. Pengabdian ini perlu dilanjutkan kembali, di organisasi-organisasi wanita lainnya agar penyampaian ini  mencakup banyak wanita aktif di kepulauan Riau.Kata Kunci: Penyuluhan Hukum, Korupsi, Organisasi Wanita.AbstractNowadays there are many cases of corruption in the government and private sector carried out by men who already have wives and children. With this counseling, it is hoped that women, especially BKOW members, can be pioneers in the household to form an anti-corruption family for both children and husbands. This devotional activity is carried out with 4 methods namely: lectures, dialogue, case surgery, and best practice. As a result of this activity, participants became enthusiastic, which was evident from the many questions raised as well as the formation of good communication. Este artículo presenta los principales resultados del estudio que se realizó con el objetivo de generar conocimientos sobre el uso de las TIC como recurso didáctico por parte de los docentes de las carreras de la Facultad de Educación, el Arte y la Comunicación de la Universidad Nacional de Loja en el periodo académico septiembre 2015- febrero 2016. El estudio fue de tipo transversal, descriptivo, mediante un cuestionario dirigido a los docentes. Los resultados indican que el 76% de los docentes utilizan las herramientas TIC de manera habitual para realizar explicaciones, presentaciones, reflexiones, evaluación y trabajo colaborativo; también la mayoría de los docentes propicia que los estudiantes realicen diferentes actividades para su aprendizaje con el apoyo de las TIC; sin embargo, no se aprovecha todo el potencial de estos recursos. Además, la mayoría de los docentes señala que es necesario propiciar su actualización continua en el uso pedagógico de las TIC, así como mejorar la infraestructura tecnológica de la FEAC. ABSTRACT This article shows the main results of the study that was implemented with the objective to generate knowledge about the use of the TICs as a didactic resource by the teachers of the Careers of the Facultad de Educación, el Arte y la Comunicación de la Universidad Nacional de Loja, in the academic period September 2015- February 2016. The type of investigation was transversal, descriptive, through a questionnaire focused on professors. The results show that 76% of the professors use the TICs tools on a regular basis to provide their students with explanations, presentations, meditations, evaluations and collaborative work; also, most of the professors encourage their students to perform different activities for their learning with the support of the TICs; however, all the potential of these resources is not used. Furthermore, the majority of professors point out that it is necessary to encourage their students to continue updating in the pedagogical use of the TICs, as well as to improve the technological infrastructure of the FEAC.
