This work has as main objective the development of a methodological approach for multicriteria planning of agricultural land in rain-forest protected areas. For this purpose two main techniques have been used: the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Compromise Programming (CP), both employed in order to include into the analysis objectives from a triple point of view: economics, social and environmental. The methodological approach proposed has been implemented in a Venezuelan protected area, where agricultural activities have been historically the main source of income for its population. The results point out the existence of important conflicts between the objectives considered, showing the convenience of public intervention in order to promote a performance of agricultural sector according to the compromise solutions obtained.

This study aims to determine the perceptions of the younger generation of agricultural activities in the Buha Sub-District of Mapanget District. This research was carried out from August 2017 to May 2018. Primary data was collected through interviews of 15 generations of young people with the help of filling out questionnaires. Secondary data was obtained from the Buha Village Office, Mapanget District. This analysis uses descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the perception of the younger generation of agricultural activities in the Buha Sub-District is overall negative for agricultural activities. Viewed from internal factors include education, employment, gender and age. The higher the level of education, the wider the insight of the younger generation so that the lack of interest in the younger generation in agricultural activities is getting bigger. The younger generation who already have permanent jobs in the non-agricultural sector look down on agricultural activities because they assume that agricultural activities have a low social level. Women have a low interest in agricultural activities because they assume that agricultural activities are not suitable for women because it will damage their appearance. Respondents aged 21-30 years have a low interest in agricultural activities, in addition to reduced agricultural land. External factors include socialization, parental work status and land ownership status. The younger generation with a low level of socialization results in a lack of interest in the younger generation in agricultural activities. Parents of respondents who work in agriculture or non-agriculture do not want their children to make agricultural activities the main job. The young generation whose parents still own agricultural land is still doing agricultural activities to help their parents work on their farms.

For maintaining the horticultural generation, Land Selection Investigation (LSI) is essential. Though incorporates estimation of the criteria assortment from the soil, territory to financial, market, and foundation, and these components are considerably enigmatically characterized and described by their inherent ambiguity. Multi-criteria basic leadership systems like positioning, rating, and so on are utilized for reasonableness examination. Master learning and judgment by leaders at different levels is integrated into this process. In the field of farming sciences, the Fuzzy Logic (FL) strategy has been effectively used to take care of numerous issues. Fuzzy with AHP is a Hybrid Fuzzy Logic (HFL) methodology. The policies Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP), Fuzzy Numbers, Fuzzy Degree Investigation, Alpha Cut, and Lambda capacity are associated with it. As expressed, the procedure of necessary leadership includes a scope of criteria and a considerable measure of master learning and decisions. The components result from impacts extraordinarily. The capacity of three methods to demonstrate the affectability of the necessary leadership procedure is researched. Alpha cut and lambda esteem give and encourage considerable affectability investigation. All techniques are actualized to examine the reasonableness of the crop in the Indian nation. Test results when performed on various datasets, demonstrate that the proposed procedure removes more highlights just as gives more exactness when  contrasted with existing techniques.

This study aims to analyze the problem of waqf management from the point of view of regulators, nazhir and wakif. The research object is the management of waqf in the Yogyakarta Special Province with respondents from the Department of Religion of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, the Yogyakarta branch of the Al-Qur'an Waqf Board, and the wakif who are domiciled in Yogyakarta. The research approach uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) with the aim of formulating strategic solutions in the management of waqf. This study found that there are still many waqf that provide their waqf assets without going through an official waqf management institution. AHP's priority solutions include providing convenience to services for nazhir. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out intensive training for nazhir so that the management of waqf can be more optimal so as to increase public confidence in waqf in official waqf institutions. In addition, this study also recommends an increase in the accountability of waqf management. The accountability of waqf management can be realized in the form of periodic reports that are presented directly to the wakifs or through media in accordance with the local character of the community. Keywords:  Accountability, Waqf Management, Analytic Hierarchy Process  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis masalah pengelolaan wakaf dari sudut pandang regulator, nazhir dan wakif. This paper aims to present a model to determine the preferred Islamic contract for the bank facilities applicant in the industrial sector. For this purpose we use a consolidated method which includes the compromise solution multi-criteria optimization in the first phase, and the calculation of the cost of financing for the applicant of facilities in the second phase. Afterwards, by using the output of the both-phase, the preferred Islamic contract based on the combinational criterion has been determined for the applicant of the facilities. According to the fact that in the financing of the projects, in addition to the criteria related to the cost of financing, the qualitative criteria are also important, so both the qualitative and quantitative criteria have been considered in this research. In this study, we used four widely applied Islamic contracts (Jo’aalah Instalment sales, Hire purchase, Participation). The assessment criteria of the Islamic contracts have been extracted in the form of a questionnaire based on the previous studies and the expert’s point of view. In the first phase, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) has been used in order to determine the weights of the evaluation criteria of the Islamic contracts; and, in order to select an appropriate contract for the applicant, the compromise solution multi-criteria optimization approach (VIKOR), which is based on the decision matrix, was used. In the second phase, the cost of financing from the bank was estimated for the applicant of the facilities in the four contracts. Finally, the obtained results of the qualitative questionnaire and the cost of financing from the bank have been combined; thus, the preferred contract for the applicant of facilities has been determined based on a combinational criterion.

The success of a New Product Development (NPD) process strongly depends on the deep comprehension of market needs and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) has been commonly used to find weights for customers' preferences. AHP best practices suggest that low-consistency respondents should be considered untrustworthy; however, in some NPD cases – such as the one presented here – this stake can be extremely big. This paper deals with the usage of AHP methodology to define the weights of customer needs connected to the NPD process of a typical impulse buying good, a snack. The aim of the paper is to analyse in a critical way the opportunity to exclude or include non-consistent respondents in market analysis, addressing the following question: should a non-consistent potential customer be excluded from the analysis due to his inconsistency or should he be included because, after all, he is still a potential consumer? The chosen methodological approach focuses on evaluating the compatibility of weight vectors among different subsets of respondents, filtered according to their consistency level. Results surprisingly show that weights do not significantly change when non-consistent respondents are excluded.

Even though multifunctionality concept is reflected, implicit or explicitly, in the design of actual agrarian policies, its consideration when analysing and assessing farming systems is relatively limited in the scientific literature. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is proposed with this aim. AHP is a multicriteria discrete decision support technique that is used in complex decision making. This methodology is stated jointly with a proposed procedure to measure relative agreement among decision makers and uniformity of alternatives’ performances in group decision making. Finally AHP is implemented in the assessment of organic, integrated and conventional olive groves in Andalusia considering criteria of a different nature – economic, technical, sociocultural and environmental –. The final purpose is determining the more interesting growing techniques from a holistic point of view for all the society in the medium/long-term on the basis of knowledge of experts on olive.
