Abstract: The meaning of children's leisure associated with personal and social development is a topic that has been little or not at all studied, despite being key both to the clarification of the educational actions of parents and educators and to certain community management policies. Here we reflect on this fundamental question from different resources: the author's knowledge about leisure and human development, a subject on which he has researched and promoted projects for nearly 20 years, his life experience, and other contributions related to the empirical research of the author and other well-known authors in the field of Leisure Studies. The text analyses the relationship between children's leisure and its possible contribution to their integral development considering: i) the biological and personal dimension; ii) the improvement in abilities; iii) the area associated with the foundations of adult leisure and, finally, iv) the area linked to awareness of leisure as a preventive vaccine for so-called “harmful leisure”. These four considerations are approached from two spheres of valuable leisure: recreation and re-creation.   Key words: Valuable leisure, human development, recreation, re-creation.

Introduction: From the moment of conception the human being is predisposed to undergo changes in fetal and neonatal development due to various external factors that occur throughout life and can in the long term influence the phenotypic expression of the new being. Objective: The objective of this work is to determine the relationship between the environment, nutrition, genetics, epigenetics and microbiota with neonatal fetus development and how they influence the phenotypic expression of the new being. Methods: A non-systematic search was performed in electronic databases such as COCHRANE, PUBMED, MEDLINE, etc. The bibliographic research was carried out in the period between October 2019 and January 2020. The studies carried out from 2007 to 2019, in the languages of Spanish and English, were included. Results: We found 51 bibliographic sources related to the subject, of which by means of a last simplification, 30 scientific articles were used that provided important information on the subject, and 21 articles were excluded. Conclusion: Research on methods to detect these interactions and to understand the mechanisms of these interactions is just beginning. However, there is evidence that they play an important role in human development. Keywords: neonatal development, epigenetics, microbiota, fetal development, nutrition.

FIRST CHILDHOOD: RELATIONAL STUDY OF STYLES OF AGING AND EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONS ABSTRACT Parenting styles develops social, cognitive and affective potentials through bonding, training, reflexive and protective competencies that attachment figures possess. Executive functions are developed in early childhood, and they are complex mental activities, necessary for social development. The objective of this research is to identify the relationship between parenting styles and development of executive functions through the last study in Ecuador in children under five years old. The methodology applied is incomplete induction by simple enumeration or probable concussion. It presents exploratory characteristics defined based on the literature, pure purpose and qualitative approach. After relating parental competencies, parenting styles and their relationship to executive functions. It was found that flexibility is closely related to the training area and their decline is related to the permissive parenting style, monitoring with the reflective area and parenting style authoritarian, the inhibition with related competencies and authoritarian style. On the other hand, the link between protective competencies and democratic style and its influence on all executive functions was found. In this side, parenting is the core of the development of executive functions, where the infant learns intra and interpersonal tools. The cognitive, neurobiological and social implications of parenting styles are noted and the importance of positive parenting for proper integral development is stressed. KEYWORDS: parental competencies; parenting styles; executive functions; early childhood.

The authors explore an alternative way of analyzing the relationship between human development and individualism. The method is based on the first principal component of Hofstede's individualism index in the Human Development Index rating domain. Results suggest that the general idea that greater wealth brings more individualism is only true for countries with high levels of development, while for middle or low levels of development the inverse is true.

The purpose of this study to examine the relationship between financial development and human development in the health and welfare dimensions of developing countries. This study aims to determine whether the financial developments of the countries have an effect on the basic human development of the individuals and whether human development indicators have an impact on financial development. In this study, the relationship between financial development and human development has been tried to be revealed by using data obtained from developing countries. Financial development levels of the countries were measured with the developed financial development index. The index is calculated by using M3 / GDP, private sector loans / GDP and loans to banks from private sector / GDP ratios. The human development index is calculated by considering various health indicators and GNP per capita. The data includes annual data for the period 1970-2016. Pedroni and Kao cointegration analysis and Dumitrescu & Hurlin panel causality analysis were performed in the study. According to the results of the study, the cointegration relationship was determined between the two variables. There is also a two-way causality between the variables.

Parental Modernity is an important aspect for the psycho-social development of the child. The present study aims to study the effect of parental modernity on rejection sensitivity and self-esteem of adolescents and the relationship between rejection sensitivity and self-esteem. The research is carried out on a sample of 240 parents (including 120 fathers and 120 mothers) and their 120 children. For observing the impact of modernity of parents on their children, Individual Modernity Scale was used and administered on father and mother. Rejection Sensitivity Questionnaire and Self-Esteem Inventory were used to measure the rejection sensitivity and self-esteem of children (age ranges from 14 to 19 years). The results suggest that parental modernity has an effect on the rejection sensitivity and personally perceived self of the self – esteem of adolescents. Furthermore, the rejection sensitivity has been found negatively associated with self-esteem.

We explore emerging contexts of social entrepreneurship in India. Social entrepreneurship is emerging as an important option in poverty reduction and social change wherein organizing societal responses to scenarios like entrenched deprivation, cumulative disadvantages, long extant institutional lock-in, and vulnerabilities enmeshed in social stratification, hiatus emanating from segmentation of labour market and inadequate coverage of social protection form the core of strategies/collectives/organisation. In this paper, first, drawing cues from the literature, we outline basic typology of social entrepreneurship while delineating pivotal role technology and collaboration play in social entrepreneurship. Second, we provide a glimpse of not profit organisations in India, based on the secondary data. We juxtapose select patterns from the data on non profit organisations with human development. Third, we discuss select cases of social entrepreneurship that diverge in characteristics and contexts, in particular how these initiatives work towards poverty reduction and social development.

Palabras clave: educación, valores, fuente de valores, integración, cultura EDUCATION AND VALUES ABSTRACT The article offers a reflection on education and values. After a reference to the different senses in which one can pose the problem in terms of how you can understand the relationship between the two nouns “education” and “values”, reflection focuses on some problems related to the values in the contents of education. First, it concerns the problem of the criterion against which to determine the values of education, concluding that the criterion could be neither a priori in nature, not empirical, but “synthetic”. Herein, the problem of principle is faced, the source of values, or the realization of the criterion of the values of education, understanding that these should be determined from the subject of education. It concludes with the reference of a requirement of the values in education, setting up a unitary and interactive whole. Key Words: education, values , power values , integration, culture

This chapter explores the interactions between economic growth and human development, as measured by the Human Development Index, theoretically and empirically. Drawing on many studies it explores the links in two chains, from economic growth to human development, and from human development to growth. Econometric analysis establishes strong links between economic growth and human development, and intervening variables influencing the strength of the chains. Because of the complementary relationship, putting emphasis on economic growth alone is not a long-term viable strategy, as growth is likely to be impeded by failure on human development. The chapter classifies country performance in four ways: virtuous cycles where both growth and human development are successful; vicious cycles where both are weak; and lopsided ones where the economy is strong but human development is weak, or conversely ones where human development is strong but the economy is weak.
