On Special 30th Anniversary Issue &ldquo;A New Generation of the Robotics Society of Japan: Towards the World&rdquo;

I congratulate the Journal of Robotics and Mechatronics (JRM) on the publication of its 30th anniversary issue. As one of JRM’s past Editors-in- Chief, I am extremely pleased and proud of this great achievement. JRM was the first journal dealing with robotics and mechatronics in the world when it was launched thirty years ago. Since then, the journal has made a strong impact on the robotics and mechatronics field. It has been hard for the journal to provide high quality issues for so many years. I would like to sincerely express my great respect to Mr. Hayashi, founder and former president of Fuji Technology Press Ltd.; former Editors-in-Chief Prof. Yamafuji, Prof. Fukuda, and Prof. Kaneko; the current Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Takita; and our colleagues, including the editorial board and editorial staff, for their hard work. I would also like to express my great appreciation to all the authors, reviewers, and readers for their superb contributions. This grand thirty-year achievement could not have been attained without all their contributions. I was Editor-in-Chief for seven years ‒ volumes 19 through 25 ‒ beginning in January 2007. I enjoyed my role as Editor-in-Chief, since many young, talented researchers and engineers took part in the editorial process, and I could discuss with them how we would achieve a high-quality journal. I remember clearly how hard they worked to edit superlative volumes by proposing and organizing special issues with up-to-date topics. During that period, we had the good fortune of collaborating with the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME). They supported us in providing committee members for our editorial board, and in collecting and reviewing the many excellent papers. I would also express my thanks to JSME for their abundant and generous support. Because of it, JRM achieved a high reputation and contributed to both academia and industry. Today there are many relevant journals in the world. Competing with them and producing an even higher quality journal than ever before are the most critical issues in the next step of JRM’s advancement. I applaud the current editorial board members and staff and expect JRM to become the very top journal in the field. Education is an important factor in human life. According to Ki Hajar Dewantara, education is a civilizing process that a business gives high values ??to the new generation in a society that is not only maintenance but also with a view to promote and develop the culture of the nobility toward human life. Education is a human investment that can be used now and in the future. One other important factor in supporting human life in addition to education, which is technology. In this globalization era, technology has touched every joint of human life. The combination of these two factors will be a new innovation in the world of education. The innovation has been implemented by Raharja College, namely the use of the method iLearning (Integrated Learning) in the learning process. Where such learning has been online based. ILearning method consists of TPI (Ten Pillars of IT iLearning). Rinfo is one of the ten pillars, where it became an official email used by the whole community’s in Raharja College to communicate with each other. Rinfo is Gmail, which is adapted from the Google platform with typical raharja.info as its domain. This Rinfo is a medium of communication, as well as a tool to support the learning process in Raharja College. Because in addition to integrated with TPi, this Rinfo was connected also support with other learning tools, such as Docs, Drive, Sites, and other supporting tools.

The maintenance of large aging infrastructure across the world creates serious technical, environmental, and economic challenges. Ultra-high performance fibre-reinforced concretes (UHPFRC) are a new generation of materials with outstanding mechanical properties as well as very high durability due to their extremely low permeability. These properties open new horizons for the sustainable rehabilitation of aging concrete structures. Since UHPFRC is a young and evolving material, codes are still either lacking or incomplete, with recent design provisions proposed in France, Switzerland, Japan, and Australia. However, engineers and public agencies around the world need resources to study, model, and rehabilitate structures using UHPFRC. As an effort to contribute to the efficient use of this promising material, this paper presents a new numerical modelling approach for UHPFRC-strengthened concrete members. The approach is based on the Diverse Embedment Model within the global framework of the Disturbed Stress Field Model, a smeared rotating-crack formulation for 2D modelling of reinforced concrete structures. This study presents an adapted version of the DEM in order to capture the behaviour of UHPFRC by using a small number of input parameters. The model is validated with tension tests from the literature and is then used to model UHPFRC-strengthened elements. The paper will discuss the formulation of the model and will provide validation studies with various tests of beams, columns and walls from the literature. These studies will demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed modelling approach.

When Bowlby first published his comprehensive report to the World Health Organization on maternal deprivation, his conclusions and recommendations stimulated useful research and provoked critical discussion. The republication of this report 15 years later, together with six articles by others evaluating the monograph's implications, gives us a welcome opportunity to reconsider the findings from a historical perspective, and to acquaint a new generation of physicians with the problems of homeless children, which are still very much with us.

The 21st century is known as the industrial revolution 4.0 which changes the economy among people who grow together with modernity and technology systems. It proves that the development of human thinking on creativity will greatly affect the development of the creative economy, but this has made the market begin to be abandoned by new generations and switch to e-commerce systems. The existence of an epidemic that has begun to spread in people's lives is also one of the factors that have changed the world economy and made the market begin to be abandoned. Changes in the world economy will require revitalization so that this is used as a foundation in the formation of the Screen Market integrated with the digital system to polarize the economy. The new generation is the key to the development and balance of the economy in technology, this is in line with the entrepreneurial nature and character of the new generation, which makes them prefer to develop as start ups. The revitalization of the economic center will become a forum for interaction with the surrounding environment so that the characteristics of the formation of interaction space are the basis and the beginning of the screen market. The screen market is located on Jl Arjuna Utara which is surrounded by malls, offices, universities, making the type of retail being marketed a creative sub-sector, namely culinary with local products, fashion retail, and also craft retail managed by start ups so it is hoped that the screen market can accommodate interaction and creatively combined with digital developments. Abstrak Abad ke-21 dikenal dengan terjadinya revolusi industri 4.0 yang mengubah perekonomian di kalangan masyarakat yang bertumbuh bersama dengan sistem modernitas dan juga teknologi. Membuktikan bahwa perkembangan pemikiran manusia terhadap kreativitas akan sangat memengaruhi perkembangan ekonomi kreatif tetapi hal ini menjadikan pasar mulai ditinggalkan oleh generasi baru dan beralih pada sistem e-commerce. Adanya wabah yang mulai merambat dikehidupan masyarakat juga menjadi salah satu faktor yang merubah perekonomian dunia dan menjadikan pasar mulai ditinggalkan. Perubahan perekonomian dunia ini akan membutuhkan revitalisasi sehingga hal ini dijadikan sebagai landasan pijakan dalam pembentukan Pasar Layar yang dipadukan dengan sistem dari digital sebagai polarisasi perekonomian. Generasi baru merupakan kunci dari perkembangan dan keseimbangan perekonomian dalam teknologi, hal ini sejalan dengan sifat dan watak entrepreneur yang dimiliki oleh generasi baru sehingga menjadikan mereka lebih memilih berkembang sebagai start up. Revitalisasi pusat perekonomian ini akan menjadi wadah interaksi dengan lingkungan sekitar sehingga adanya karakteristik pembentukan ruang interaksi sebagai dasar dan awal dalam pasar layar. Pasar layar berada di Jl. Arjuna Utara yang dikelilingi oleh mall, kantor, universitas menjadikan jenis retail yang dipasarkan merupakan subsektor kreatif yaitu kuliner dengan produk lokal, retail fashion dan juga retail kriya yang dikelola start up sehingga diharapkan Pasar Layar mampu menampung antara interaksi dan kreatif yang dipadukan dengan perkembangan digital.

Cryogenic technologies in biology and medicine Current tendencies of the development of cryogenic technologies in the world practice and in Ukraine have been comparatively analyzed. A special attention has been paid to cryotechnologies in biology and medicine. The features of deriving the biologically active ingredients of natural raw materials by means of cryosublimation fractionation and extraction of lipid fractions with liquefied refrigerants, as well as perspectives of their application when obtaining the products of new generation in pharmacy, cosmetics, food industry have been considered. There were discussed the possibilities of human whole body extreme cryotherapy. Main aspects of its usage in practical public health have been considered.

The world presented and not presented in the former Yugoslavia. Not everyone puts their eternal myths on banners in order to kill others. The question is how a nation transforms myths into art, and in particular into theatre. A sudden focus in the Yugoslavia, which no longer existed, on topics that used to be forbidden, was a natural reaction to the previous existence of taboo. When Poland was celebrating its accession to the European community, the citizens of Yugoslavia were experiencing the nightmare of war. Later, the transformation reached them as well. And with it came corruption, theft, gangsters and kitch-coloured life. The dissolution of Yugoslavia was overzealously supported by ideologues and politicians. The authors of the new generation, such as Biljana Srbljanović and Milena Marković Serbia, Ivana Sajko and Tena Štivičić Croatia, Dorutina Basha an Albanian from Kosovo, write about what people living in the former Yugoslavia lost irretrievably. And in this way they fight the servile function of art towards the official ideology. But does anyone want to hear what the theatre warns against? Transformation of the world is a political project, which always finds its place in the theatre, if only a group of people meet, sharing common beliefs and ideas and wishing to change the world. Someone said so once in the former Yugoslavia.Prikazan i neprikazan svet bivše Jugoslavije. Ne ispisuju svi svoje prastare mitove na barjacima kako bi ubijali druge. Ono što je bitno je kako svaki narod pretvara mitove u umetnost, a posebno u pozorište. Naglo okretanje prethodno zabranjenim temama bila je, u već nepostojećoj Jugoslaviji, prirodna reakcija na dotadašnje tabue. Dok se Poljska radovala zbog pridruženja ujedinjenoj Evropi, građani Jugoslavije doživljavali su košmar rata. Onda je i kod nijh stigla transformacija. A sa njom korupcija, lopovluk, gangsteri i kičasto-šareni život. Raspad Jugoslavije je postignut uz svesrdnu podršku ideologa i političara. O tome što su ljudi, koji su tamo živeli, nepovratno izgubili, pišu autori nove generacije kao što na primer Bilijana Srbljanović i Milena Marković Srbija, Ivana Sajko i Tena Štivičić Hrvatska, Dorutina Basha Albanka iz Kosowa. I na taj se način suprotstavljaju stavu da umetnost prati zvaničnu ideologiju. Ali da li iko želi da čuje na šta upozorava pozorište? Menjanje sveta je politički projekat koji će naći mesto u pozorištu kada se okupi grupa istomišljenika koji imaju volju da menjaju svet. Jednom je neko tako rekao u bivšoj Jugoslaviji.
