Within the contemporary German society, there is an initiative that has been ongoing for over 25 years. This initiative is called the Stolperschwelle which is conducted to commemorate the falling victims of the Nazi. An artist named Gunter Demnig started the whole project in 1992, and in 2017 – with the support of the society – he succeeded to place the 70.000th stumbling stone (in German; Stolpersteine), a 96 mm x 96 mm x 100mm brass plaques in the pavement of the last victim’s address. At first, it was meant to remember the death of the Jewish during the Nazi era, but nowadays the stumbling stones also represent the death of the marginalized groups including the Gipsy, the homosexuals, people with physical disability, and people who are falsely accused because of their religious and political belief. In the Stolpersteine-project, anybody can show their respect for the victims of the Nazi by sponsoring a stumbling stone – its manufacture and its installation for 120 euro – dedicated to one victim. This article analyses how this Stolpersteine-project can be viewed from various perspectives by using socio-cultural, historical, and urban landscape perspectives. The study is conducted using a qualitative approach through literature review. The findings show that the main story evolving around the Stolperstein project is the death of someone, caused by extremely terrible matter. By engaging in the Stolperstein, the modern German society tries to commemorate someone’s death, even someone they do not personally know. The historical perspective looks at the difference of microhistory and macrohistory when it comes to one nation’s history. In the Stolpersteine project, people deal greatly with microhistory. Finally, the urban landscape perspective emphasizes that the construction of space can contribute to reliving the past as well as building a better understanding for a nation’s generation.

This article is motivated by ambiguity about a famous Cadas Pangeran road construction figure, Prince Surianagara Kusumahdinata or Prince Kornel. The approaches used in this article are descriptive and historical methods, literature review techniques, documentation studies, and interviews. The article aims to find out: (1) the character of Prince Kornel from a literary perspective; (2) the character of Prince Kornel from a historical perspective; (3) the synchronization of Prince Kornel's character in literature and history. The results show that the character of Prince Kornel in literature and history is not significantly different. The difference is that there is imagination in literature to build certain atmospheres that make the story more alive, and in history, it is based on existing historical facts. In addition, the character of Prince Kornel has a correlation viewed from matters relating to literature and history. The conclusion is that the story of Prince Kornel in literature is produced by historical events and the community's oral tradition about Prince Kornel that spread in Sumedang Regency. It can be said that the story of Prince Kornel from literary and historical perspectives is interconnected and influences each other.

The article departs from the difference between two types of historical writings, one narrating stories about actors and the other trying to bring about evidence that justify claims to know certain things about specific aspects of the past. From the Iliad and the Odyssey, telling stories have been a common way of presenting past events. Inscriptions and annals, as well as graves and monuments, urged to present posterity with evidence for acts and occurrences. Storytelling was always more popular than searching for evidence. In the 19th century, historians began to systematise their doubts about the truth of many stories. This source criticism has been refuted by many “historical theorists” in the late 20th and the early 21st centuries with the argument that claims that it is impossible to bring truth about the past and that all history is to be regarded as a kind of literature with, at best, symbolic “truth”. I want to reject this standpoint as based only on an internal “theory of history”-discourse and ask for analyses of actual historical research, which claims to produce new historical knowledge.

The rise of e-commerce has brought considerable changes to the relationship between firms and consumers, especially within international business. Hence, understanding the use of such means for entering foreign markets has become critical for companies. However, the research on this issue is new and so it is important to evaluate what has been studied in the past. In this study, we conduct a systematic review of e-commerce and internationalisation studies to explicate how firms use e-commerce to enter new markets and to export. The studies are classified by theories and methods used in the literature. Moreover, we draw upon the internationalisation decision process (antecedents-modalities-consequences) to propose an integrative framework for understanding the role of e-commerce in internationalisation

We cannot be sure exactly what will happen, we can only estimate by using a particular method, where each method must have the formula to create a regression equation and a formula to calculate the confidence level of the estimated value. This paper conveys a method of estimating the future values, in which the formula for creating a regression equation is based on the assumption that the future value will depend on the difference of the past values divided by a weight factor which corresponding to the time span to the present, and the formula for calculating the level of confidence is to use "the Haryadi Index". The advantage of this method is to remain accurate regardless of the sample size and may ignore the past value that is considered irrelevant.
