Purpose:The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between perceived administrative bureaucracy and occupational burnout of elementary school teachers in Najafabad city in the academic year of 2015-16 by a descriptive correlational method. Methodology:The statistical population of the study consisted of all 1095 primary school teachers. Using the Cochran formula 285 people were selected as the sample size. The sampling method was a cluster random sampling. The data collecting tools were perceived administrative bureaucracy questionnaire of Roch (1993) and Maslach's occupational burnout questionnaire (1981). The reliability of the questionnaires was estimated by using the Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the bureaucracy questionnaire which was (0.90) for the Centralization dimension, (0.83) for specialization, (0.80) for standardization, and (0.78) for occupational burnout. In order to analyze the data, descriptive and inferential statistics including multiple regression correlation coefficient and multi-point variance test were used. Main Findings:The findings of the study indicated that there was a positive correlation between the dimensions of Centralization and occupational burnout (r = 0.182, p <0.05) and there was a negative relationship between the dimensions of specializations (r = -0.178, r = -0.05) and standardization (r = -0.286; r = -0.01). Implications: Results of this study can enrich the knowledge about relationship between perceived administrative occupational burnout among elementary school teachers. Originality: As per author’s information and belief, first time relationship between perceived administrative occupational burnout among elementary school teachers.

Teachers who are engaged in their jobs can be decisive in turning their schools into successful and effective schools. It is important to research the relationship between work engagement and organizational trust in teachers since these are two significant variables affecting the performance and productivity of employees. The main purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between elementary school teachers’ sense/understanding of work engagement and their understanding of organizational trust. The research is a correlational research study. Its environment consisted of 4016 elementary school teachers. 559 of the teachers were included in the sample. In the research the “Utrecht Work Engagement Scale” and “Multipurpose T Scale” were appropriately/ favourably used. In this research, confirmatory factor analysis and reliability analyses were repeated in order to validate the structure described in the scale. In the research, it is concluded that there is a positive, high level of significant relationship between participant teachers’ perceptions of work engagement and their perceptions of organizational trust.

AbstractThe main aim of the study was to explore the relationship between fluid intelligence (gf), attentional control (AC), and learning potential (LP), and to investigate the interaction effect between gf and AC on LP. The sample comprised 210 children attending the fourth grade of a standard elementary school. It was hypothesized that the extent of the association between gf and LP depends on the level of attentional control, so that a low level of AC would weaken or possibly break that link, while a high level of AC would facilitate the employment of fluid general ability in learning situations. The results show that there was a moderate relationship between the measures of gf and LP, while gf was not found to be related to AC. Regarding the hypothesized interaction effect, the data suggested that the relationship between learning potential and fluid intelligence is invariant regarding the level of attentional control in the sample. Possible reasons for the lack of a moderation effect are discussed.

This causes the need for parents to convey and receive messages from children not achieved perfectly and cause stress. This study aimed to determine the relationship between barriers to communication with stress in parents with deaf children at primary school SLBN Pembina Pekanbaru. This study used correlational method. This research had 42 participants and used the instruments scale of communication barriers scale (Fajar, 2009) and stress scale based on Sarafino’s (1997) theories of stress and symptoms. The results showed the positive correlation of 0.819 (p 0.01).

AbstractBackground: Comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation (CR) is a process designed to restore full physical, psychological and social activity and to reduce cardiovascular risk factors. Fear of movement may contribute to the occurrence and intensification of hypokinesia, and consequently affect the effectiveness of therapy. The aim of the study was to determine the level of barriers of physical activity in patients undergoing cardiac rehabilitation. The relationship between selected determinants (age and health selfassessment) and the kinesiophobia level were also examined.Material/Methods: 115 people aged 40-84 years were examined: 50 females (x = 63.46; SD = 11.19) and 65 males (x = 64.65; SD = 10.59) - patients undergoing cardiac rehabilitation at the Upper-Silesian Medical Centre in Katowice. In the present study, the Polish version of questionnaires: Kinesiophobia Causes Scale (KCS) and Short Form Health Survey (SF-36) were used. Questionnaires were supplemented by authors’ short survey. Results: The patients presented an elevated level of kinesiophobia, both in general as well as in individual components. In women, the kinesiophobia level was higher than in men. The psychological domain was a greater barrier of physical activity than the biological one. Strong, negative correlations of psychological and biological domains of kinesiophobia to physical functioning (SF-36) were noted in women. In the case of men, correlations were weaker, but also statistically significant. Conclusions: 1. Sex differentiates patients in their kinesiophobia level 2. Poor self-assessment of health is associated with a greater intensification of kinesiophobia 3. A high level of kinesiophobia may negatively affect cardiac rehabilitation process
