The Anatolian Edvar Tradition is an ecole emerging in the 15th century which views Turkish music theory as emanating from the relationships between notes, and its pedagogical approach comprises practical and brief descriptions. In this movement-based approach, the notes become melodic development (melodic shape) of the makam concept (transformative approach), aiming to explain and demonstrate performance. The research is descriptive and based on a general survey model, aiming to conduct a substantial literature review and establish determining the current state of the theory. It will describe the four basic principles of the notion of makam in the Anatolian Edvar Tradition approach, that is, düzen (gamut), centralizations which typically occur at the beginning/center note, melodic development, and resolve note/endings. Furthermore, explanations are offered with regard to the elements that make up makams, the traditional names of notes, and the approach where notes are named after the makams based on them. The emergence of makams from the Rast düzen (Rast gamut) and of different düzens from the Rast düzen are exemplified. Thirty-seven makams arising from the Hicaz düzen (Hicaz gamut) are investigated under six different makam families, and descriptions of makams drawn from historical sources are given. Based on these descriptions, basic melodic developments are formulated for each makam, and theoretical analysis of these examples is made. In conclusion, the fundamental principles and elements of the makam concept with the Anatolian Edvar Tradition are explained from an instructive perspective, and the makam descriptions, theoretical analysis method are simplified, explicated, and instantiated based on performance. Keywords: Traditional Turkish Music, Turkish Music Theory, Anatolian Edvar Tradition, Makam, Hicaz, Gamut

The article describes the use of BYOD technology (Bring Your Own Device) in educational practice using the Lecture Racing mobile application. This application provides feedback between the teacher and students both in the classroom and during distance learning, contributes to the visualization of educational material and, in general, the informatization of the educational process. The purpose of the study is to conduct a theoretical analysis of the current state and prospects for the development of BYOD technology in Russia and abroad, and to test the benefits of using this technology in educational practice using the specific mobile application. During the study, an analysis of scientific, theoretical and practical literature on BYOD technology was carried out. In the process of experimental work, test tasks were the instrument of measuring knowledge and skills of students. As a result of a theoretical analysis and study of the practical possibilities of using BYOD technology (using the Lecture Racing mobile application as an example), it was found that this technology allows you to visualize information that is displayed in real time on the screen of each student's mobile device, regardless of its location. This technology also allows both the student and the teacher to quickly work with information, provide feedback, receive an independent assessment (since the assessment is set automatically), saves time, and develops the information culture of students.

Çalışmanın sonuçları doğrultusunda medyada sığınmacılar hakkında çıkan haberlerde olumsuz ve şiddet temalı haberlerin azaltılması, Suriyeli sığınmacıların durumu, sahip oldukları haklar ve topluma yansımaları hakkında doğru ve bilgilendirici kamu spotları hazırlanması ayrıca sığınmacıların topluma entegre olma sürecinin her basamağında daha planlı ve etkili bir yol izlenmesi önerilebilir.ABSTRACT IN ENGLISHPerceptions about Syrian refugees on social media: an evaluation of a social media platformIn this research, posts which are about Syrian refugees were published in a social media platform, called as “sözlük” were investigated. The research is a qualitative research. The posts in this platform are analyzed with content analysis method. According to results of analyses, social media users see Syrian refugees as people who create an insecure and a restless environment. The experiences people had with them and news have an effect on this view. In addition, social media users think that government made inappropriate policies and ineffective plans about Syrian refugees. It is suggested negative news about Syrian refugees should be decreased and government should make safer policies. In addition, adaptation of refugees to society should be made in more planned and effective way.

The book under review is a compilation of the author's articles and lectures that highlight the prominent developments in the literature on the subject of Islamic banking and inform the reader of the current state of debate on it. One of the earliest and main contributors to this topic is the author himself. The focus of this review will mainly be on "Economics of Profit-Sharing", which is the title of the fourth chapter of the book and is among his latest contributions. This chapter is a significant contribution as it is the first attempt to formalise the concept of profit sharing into an analytical model and, therefore, demands closer scrutiny. However, in the remaining chapters of the book, the author has drawn attention to some of the fine points made in the literature on this topic. Since some of these points appear to be controversial to me, I will briefly discuss them before moving on to the analytical chapter of the book.

Being an important historical monument and a popular tourist destination, Tata Castle in Komárom-Esztergom County is well-known for many people. The medieval castle rising on the shore of the picturesque Old Lake offers outstanding scenery for its visitors. Although the castle had an important representative role during late medieval times and its archaeological excavation was conducted half a century ago, historians have made few efforts to research the building history and representative function of the castle more thoroughly. In its current state, the castle reveals little of its original 15th century appearance. However, a detailed examination of the remaining walls and stone carvings can help us to better understand the castle’s history.

AbstractThe check of the cigarette weight can be made “a posteriori”, that is when a certain number of cigarettes has been manufactured, and then it is aimed at verifying the acceptability of the lot. Conversely, it can also be executed during the manufacturing process in order to produce acceptable cigarettes. In the first case the ordinary statistical theories can be applied, whereas in the second case, which is the more interesting from cigarette manufacturers' viewpoint, Wiener's theories must be applied on both checks and servo-mechanisms. Consequently, it is necessary to revise the basic principles of the "check'' and then those of the operation of weight-governors in order to attain the highest possible precision, regardless of the external causes which might affect the result. So, the idea of ''self-optimizing'' governors is assumed, that is regulators adjusting their own action to obtain the best results. Molins, Decoufle and, lately, the Industrial Nucleonic Corp., though not having yet developed an adaptive adjuster, have made in recent times the most significant efforts in this field.
