In Ayurveda, Basti is a medical procedure in which the drug is administrated through anal route. In ancient time physicians used urinary bladder of sheep, cow and buffalo for giving medicated enema as an instrument. In Ayurveda, there are three basic humours vata, pitta and kapha. Disturbance in the homeostatic condition of these humours cause diseased condition. There are certain procedures explained by acharyas where increased doshas should be eliminated through the nearest opening. The principal site of vatadosha is pakwashaya (large intestine) and the nearest opening is anus. Drug administrated through this route act on the increased dosha bring it in homeostatic condition after removing excessive doshas through the anus. Vata is the only motivating force in the body which is responsible for spreading doshas all over the body and Basti is the main treatment for vata disorders. Ayurveda students should learn to appreciate their practical value through experimental experience. In an age where validity of concepts is judged by their scientific relevance, establishing the scientific validity of Basti is a programme of significance. It requires practical application and translating concept into the idiom of modern biology and medicine. In this article we are trying to establish a relevant correlation in terms of mechanism of action with modern physiology.

The objective: increase the effectiveness of diagnosis and treatment of women with a hyperactive bladder, combined neurogenic pathology of the lower urinary tract and distal colon. Patients and methods. The study included 73 women. In assessing the symptoms of clinical manifestations and EMG and UFS data, two groups of patients were identified: the first group – women with increased tone of the neuro-muscular structures of the hyperkinetic type; the second group - women with an increased tone of the neuromuscular structures of the hypokinetic type. In the first group, 37 women were examined, whose mean age was 44.5±2.3 years, and the duration of the disease was 16.7±1.6 months. The second group included 36 women, whose average age was 43.4±2.1 years, and the average duration of the disease was 19.7±1.5 months. Results. The performed treatment showed clinically high efficiency of electrostimulation application depending on the state of the tone of the neuromuscular structures of the lower urinary tract and the distal part of the large intestine, which is confirmed by the data of UFS and EMG. Conclusion. The obtained data allowed to develop and optimize methods of treatment of women with hyperactive urinary bladder with a combined neurogenic pathology of the lower urinary tract and distal division of the large intestine. Key words: neurogenic disorders in urination, intestine neurogenic dysfunction, detrusor, uroflowmetry, electromyography.

Ayurveda is one of the most ancient medical science in the world. Ayurveda is known as the science of life. It is not only medical science, but it is also a way of life. In Ayurvedic literature many Aacharyas (Sage) like Atreya Punarvashu,Dhanvantari,Sushruta,Charaka,Vagbhata and other commentators of samhitas (Ancient iterature) have made, its importance the knowledge of Sharir (body) to have undoubtedly for the sake of knowledge. In Ayurveda, Rachana sharir is a very important part of this science to make a person a good physician or a good surgeon. In Rachana Sharir, Marma sharir is very important topic. By knowing this, a person may become a good physician or surgeon. Marma sharir and its practical application are very important during surgery and to understand the injury at marma site, their prognosis and possible prevention is necessary. Inside the body, there is a specific anatomical location which is called a vital point. Keywords: Mamsa (muscle), marma (vital part), jivsthan (life site), Parinam (result), pariman (dimension)

Multiphonics is the production of more than one tone at a time from an instrument that would normally play a single line. The aim of this work is to identify and explore the elements of multiphonics as played by jazz brass players and to examine the production and development of multiphonics with particular reference to Albert Mangelsdorff’s mature technique. The research procedure includes a literature review, transcription and analysis of relevant music, and reflection on personal practice. The findings and discussion are used to draw conclusions in order to derive applicable testable techniques. The research points to where the accretion and extension of Mangelsdorff’s playing style may lead, and demonstrates the acquisition of discovered multiphonic techniques by the performance of transcriptions and new or extended musical applications of multiphonics in two recorded assessed recitals. The body of the paper gives brief biographical information on the main practitioners, with specific focus on how each of them acquired particular technical elements. Reference is made to prior research and specific recordings and players are mentioned in regard to their innovations and stylistic techniques. Elements were discovered and explored in the researcher’s own practice over the previous decade and specifically the duration of the masters study from February 2008 – June 2009, and the effects of various approaches and exercises are discussed. This discussion includes the areas of mental and physical preparation, limitations and parameters of the physical playing, and the method used for developing multiphonic technique. The summary identifies the main findings and makes specific reference to how they might relate to practice. It suggests areas where further research can be developed to support the acquisition and practical application of multiphonic technique and extended techniques in brass performance. The work is presented as a paper and accompanying DVD that demonstrates findings as played by the researcher in live recitals.

The more intensely a person thinks about the final nature of life, the more he is bound to a moment in life that is limited in time. Death is a very personal and intimate process, which in most cases is not «beautiful». The reality of death in clinics, intensive care units and operating theatres is, by its human nature, cruel. The body at the «end of the road» is captured by funeral homes. Thus, death today is identical to a long path of suffering. The article is dedicated to the author's reflection on a project by the German artist Gregor Schneider, which caused sensation and fierce reaction in Western art circles and beyond the art scene, creating him a reputation as «the most terrible contemporary artist» who has violated «existing» restrictions that cannot be exceeded if we do not want to question our civilization. The artist's vision is to allow a terminally ill person to die as part of an art project that represents a confrontation with death and that can remove the horror of death. As part of the project, the dying person defines everything in advance. Instead of a mass medical procedure of the same type, death, modeled on the artist's skill, Schneider argues, will create humane places for death and contribute to the creation of a space where people can die with dignity, creating personal protection and ensuring the ethical requirement of free will and self-determination.

The Material of the study has formed 78 sick, found on stationary treatment in Republican Scientific Centre Coloproktologii since 1992 on 2010. As it is seen, from table, from 78 sick mans was 58(74,3%), womans 20(25,7%). 19(24,3), sick were at age from 15 before 20 years, 49(60,2%) at age from 21 before 40 years and 13 (16,6%) sick from 41 before 60 years. The Main complaint sick at arrival were a stubborn constipations, which noted beside 70 (89,7%) sick, including absence of the independent chair existed - beside 55(70,5%), but beside 54(69,2%) sick were noted periodic stomachache, growing on measure of the absence of the chair. The Ballooned belly existed beside all 78 (100%) sick moreover beside 20(25,6%) of them flatulence was constant. The Sickness and retching existed beside 24(30,7%), weakness, reduction to capacity to work beside 52(66,6%), increasing of the temperature of the body beside 10(12,8%), paradoxical diarrhoeas beside 6(7,6%) sick. Endoskopicheskiy method (rectoromonoscopy, colonoscopy) turned out to be else less informations - 51,8% coincidences of the diagnosis. So we biopsy on Svensonu executed beside all sick, entered with suspicion on disease Girshprunga. In our observations from 78 sick beside 42(53,8,1%) were aboveanalni, beside 20(25,6%) sick - rectalis, beside 13(16,6%)- rectosigmoideys , beside 2(2,5%) leftside and beside 1(1,2%) sick - subtotalis form hipoganglios. At biopsies on Svensonu on observations, from 78 sick, beside 44(56,4%) is revealled hipoganglios, but beside 35(44,8%) - аganglios rectum. As can be seen from presented tables, from 78 sick beside 68(87,2%) us is executed onemoments radical operation, 10(12,8%) sick is as far as possible made resection hipo- or aganglionarnaya of the zone, decompensate part of the large intestine and is formed colostomy. In all events at operations. The Remote results executed radical operation on cause disease Girshprunga прослежены from 1 before 10 years beside 57(73%) sick. The Results of the surgical treatment were valued on scale Vezika: good, satisfactory and unsatisfactory. In our observations beside 46(80,7%) sick results came in well, beside 10(17,5%) - satisfactory and beside 1(1,8%) sick was an unsatisfactory result.

The vast majority of the modernized implantable devices and Bio-sensors are set inside a patient’s body. To overcome this constraint, in this paper we have designed a rechargeable battery with wireless power transfer technique. The transdermal power transfer for the Pacemaker which is placed inside the heart should be possible by the concept of mutual inductance. The receiver loop ought to be situated inside the body and the transmitter curl ought to be situated outside of the body. The voltage controller will give or manage the necessary yield (output) voltage. The experiments were conducted on wireless charging through pork tissues reveal that from a 3.919-mw power source, 3.072-mw power can be received at 300kHz, reaching a high wireless power transfer efficiency of 78.4%, showing that the charging is very fast. We have also connected a Bluetooth Module to the Atmega328 microcontroller. This Bluetooth technology is used in the Android mobile application to notice the charging levels of the pacemaker. This Inductive power transfer technique takes out the danger of contamination which is brought about by the medical procedure.

Immunomodulation had been in application in medical systems and the traditional Indian systems like Ayurveda. It has various applications in medicine for altering the defence of the body that is immunity. A lot of conditions that require immunomodulation are supported by drugs for immune suppression and immune stimulation. They are often called as immune suppressants and immune stimulants. There are other class of drugs, immune adjuvants. Synthetic drugs are notorious for causing side effects and the herbal alternatives had been investigated for the activity. So the herbs stand as the alternatives for the synthetic drugs in better treating the disease that concern the immune system. The inconsistency of the in-vivo response of the immunity, with the phytochemicals, is also a limiting step for their effective usage as immunomodulatory agents when it comes to practical application. Overall, herbs had been supplying the chemical constituents that can be used directly or in the purified form as immunomodulatory agents. This review is the segregation of the various methods available to perform the screening of the drugs and extracts for immunomodulatory activity. This paper also enlists various herbs used for immunomodulation and had been proven for the same recently from 2010 to date.
