In this paper, we will introduce a method for observing microvascular waves (MVW) by extracting different images from the available images in the video taken with consumer cameras. Microvascular vasomotion is a dynamic phenomenon that can fluctuate over time for a variety of reasons and its sensing is used for variety of purposes. The special device, a side stream dark field camera (SDF camera) was developed in 2015 for the medical purpose to observe blood flow from above the epidermis. However, without using SDF cameras, smart signal processing can be combined with a consumer camera to analyze the global motion of microvascular vasomotion. MVW is a propagation pattern of microvascular vasomotions which reflects biological properties of vascular network. In addition, even without SDF cameras, MVW can be analyzed as a spatial and temporal pattern of microvascular vasomotion using a combination of advanced signal processing with consumer cameras. In this paper, we will demonstrate that such vascular movements and MVW can be observed using a consumer cameras. We also show a classification using it.

Investigation of the effect of low-pressure NLTP in nitrogen, argon, propane-butane and air on the properties of a multilayer medical-purpose material based on polypropylene used for the manufacture of sanitary-hygienic and medical products. It is shown that after plasma treatment of argon, nitrogen, propane-butane, the surface polarity of the CMC material changes significantly, as evidenced by a decrease in the wettability angle and an increase in capillarity. The most significant changes in indicators are observed in the case of plasma treatment in argon and nitrogen. However, in the case of argon, less processing time is required to achieve the effect. Plasma treatment leads to a slight decrease in tensile strength, no more than 10-15%. It is also shown that when plasma is treated in an argon atmosphere, such characteristics of a nonwoven material as air permeability, hygroscopicity increase, and a decrease in rigidity is observed. The study of the structure of the material (pore size) showed that the treatment with NLTP leads to a significant decrease in the size of large pores and an increase in the size of medium and small pores

Gold compound AuCl4 used in different medical purpose especially in different diseases such as Arthritis, the study focused on the electrochemical properties of gold compound in an electrolyte (KCl solution) using modified glassy carbon electrode with carbon nanoparticles (CNT/GCE) as a good nanosensor to determine the chemical behavior of gold compound by the oxidation – reduction current peaks as appeared in the cyclic voltammogram at 115 and 500 mV respectively. It was studied in this study the different concentrations, scan rates, pH, and the reliability (stability), also the effect of ascorbic acid on the redox current peaks of the gold compound was studied. The results were discussed to promising the gold compound as a treatment in different disease in an alkaline medium because the Au(IV) compound acts as antioxidant by disappearing current peak of the oxidation and enhanced the reduction current peak.

Latest developments in wearable devices permits un-damageable and cheapest way for gathering of medical data such as bio-signals like ECG, Respiration, Blood pressure etc. Gathering and analysis of various biomarkers are considered to provide anticipatory healthcare through customized applications for medical purpose. Wearable devices will rely on size, resources and battery capacity; we need a novel algorithm to robustly control memory and the energy of the device. The rapid growth of the technology has led to numerous auto encoders that guarantee the results by extracting feature selection from time and frequency domain in an efficient way. The main aim is to train the hidden layer to reconstruct the data similar to that of input. In the previous works, to accomplish the compression all features were needed but in our proposed framework bio-signals compression using auto-encoder (BCAE) will perform task by taking only important features and compress it. By doing this it can reduce power consumption at the source end and hence increases battery life. The performance of the result comparison is done for the 3 parameters compression ratio, reconstruction error and power consumption. Our proposed work outperforms with respect to the SURF method.

What began as an attempt to eradicate serious illnesses seems to have become, in some cases, under the impetus of human imagination and technological evolution, an exercise by which scientists come to compete with the attributes of divinity: augmenting human beings at a basic level that affects the identity of the species. Genetic engineering for medical purposes has created the premises for the existence of technologies that can be used for other agendas, without medical purpose, in order to bioenhance the characteristics of the human individual. The genetic inheritance we leave to future generations is now under our control, because we are able to manipulate our germinal line. Hybrid embryos and chimeric embryos, although still in the experimental stage, can become a reality in relatively short time. But just because we can, do we have the right to do it? Do we need all of this and, if so, to what extent? What are the limits and who or what sets the standards? These are the questions that this chapter addresses from an ethical perspective.

Through a broad literature review, analysis of EU, USA, Ukraine regulation acts, scientific research, and opinions of progressive-minded people in this sphere, this paper provides a guide to understanding the essence of classification of stand-alone software with medical purpose and specifics of its regulation. This research is based on dialectical, comparative, analytic, synthetic, and comprehensive methods.

The article deals with the method of the medical purpose materials creation with the controlled physico-chemical and mechanical deformation properties on the basis of water-soluble derivative of amino polysaccharide chitosan – succinamide chitosan. The essence of the method is the macromolecules aggregation processes regulation in the initial solutions by the injection of organic cosolvents – acetone and ethanol. It has been stated that in a mixed solvent succinamide chitosan molecules are not in the form of the isolated macromolecular balls but as the macromolecules interacting (aggregated) systems. It has been proved that the presence of cosolvents decreases the polymer macromolecule links capability to interact with an enzyme and increases physico-mechanical characteristics of the film materials.
