Background: The study and revision of postgraduates syllabus are very important aspects to promote the level of effectiveness of postgraduates' educations. Owing to the requirement of syllabus reform, especially when the speed of useful life of information in the world is less than a decade, it is a serious aspect for the educational programmers. Objectives: This study aimed to determine the view of biostatistics graduates on the syllabus of the courses, the achievement of learning aims, job requirements, and understanding their educational problems. Methods: The number of graduates was 245 in the levels of Master of Science (MSc) and PhD of biostatistics from Tehran, Iran, Shahid Beheshti, Tarbiat Modares University of Medical Sciences, and University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences. The participants were graduated from 2011 to 2020. The data were collected by a questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS software. Results: Of PhD and MSc graduates, 48 (57.1%) and 70 (43.5%) participants declared, respectively, that they received the necessary theoretical and practical skills that they needed for their job. Also, clinical trial courses in both MSc and PhD periods were chosen by the graduates as the most significant courses, and one of the most applied courses in job requirements. Furthermore, statistical methods at MSc level and longitudinal data analysis at PhD level were chosen as the next important courses by the graduates, respectively. Conclusions: The findings show that the syllabus meets less than half of the graduates' job requirements, so it is not enough and is necessary to reform the contents of educational programs according to their job requirements.

Theatre has come to be one of the main artistic ways to convey the voices of people with disability to the general audience, and this includes people with language and communication disorders. This article aims to describe and discuss the activities of Le Théâtre Aphasique, a non-profit organization located in several cities in Quebec that delivers dramatic art workshops to people with aphasia, an acquired language disorder. Our interest is to understand how this activity has become a successful phenomenon in different disciplines, with different a priori theoretic frameworks, such as disability arts as well as rehabilitation sciences. Specifically, we suggest that the complexity and means of this activity are indeed the cause of its success given that 1) it allows people with different  communication abilities to participate, while 2) encouraging the presence of people with disabilities in the theatrical scene and 3) supporting the understanding and use of different communication styles, from both individual and social perspectives. We believe that a framework built upon social, artistic, and care-driven views of disability can account for the complexity of this activity and nourish further research into how different models of disability are integrated in the experience of people with aphasia.

Reimbursement to U.S. healthcare service providers is largely transitioning from fee for service to fee for value for those clinicians who code using current procedural terminology and through their coding, describe their professional services. The Orthotic, Prosthetic and Pedorthic profession (O&P), currently codes using a system that describes the devices they evaluate for, fabricate, fit and maintain and their professional services are incorporated into their codes. These O&P codes, in contrast to those for other healthcare disciplines, are predominantly product based rather than service based, focusing on product features and function more than clinical service. This editorial manuscript provides a brief overview of the system the US O&P profession uses currently, particularly in the context of other healthcare professions transitioning to value based coding and reimbursement and culminates in a call to action for the profession to academically consider the strengths and weaknesses of the current system relative to alternative systems. BACKGROUND AND AIM Smartphones have become an essential tool now days that impact psychologically as well as physically to the user. This study rules out smartphone excess usage and its addiction amongst pupil from Colleges of Rehabilitation Sciences METHODOLOGY A cross-sectional study was conducted on 260 medical students out of which 50 dropped out later. Smartphone Addiction Scale (SAS) was used to assess the level of smartphone addiction amongst these individuals. RESULTS The statistical value of mean is 1.48 for both the genders whereas the statistical value of mean for age ranging from 20-25 years is 21.7 and the standard deviation is 0.50 for gender and 1.38 for the included age group. Only 7 participants (3.3%) were found to have low smartphone addiction level, 108 participants (51.4%) to be moderately addicted and 95 participants (45.2%) to have higher addiction. CONCLUSION The excessive use of smartphone was significant among the individuals aged 22 years and more specifically the more males than the females were found to be more addicted by smartphone. BACKGROUND In present era people use many digital learning resources for education purposes and for getting extra knowledge, it promote healthy environment and also convenience in contrast to printed material. This growing trend impact on cognition and understanding of the user differently. OBJECTIVE This study aims to determine the frequency of students who prefer reading on printed text or other digital text and its effects on reading approaches. METHODOLOGY This study included a total of 250 samples using a convenient sampling technique. This study was carried out at different Colleges of Rehabilitation Sciences with the age limit of 19-23 year. The data was obtained by self-designed questionnaire based on 15 close ended questions. RESULT 45.2% of the students prefer reading printed text while 17.2% of the students prefer digital text. Majority of the students choose availability 51.6% as the justification for preferring printed or digital text. For learning from gadgets 70.8% of the student’s favour cell phones and 2.0% favour computer. CONCLUSION The study indicated that printed reading material is still the first choice in the particular geographical area although the digital text is more convenient. There is a need to discover the explanations that constrain or promote the use of such resource that encourages healthy environment.

Introduction: With the Coronavirus pandemic, disability and the students’ absence in clinical settings, the educational system of the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences of Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences decided to hold a virtual grand round, teaching the clinical courses to address the shortcomings of clinical education. This study aimed to investigate the level of satisfaction and learning of students from holding the Grand Round. Methods: The present study was quasi-experimental study. The study population consisted of 36 undergraduate students in physiotherapy and speech therapy; The Grand Round in specific cases of the disease was presented to students, in the clinical training. Data were collected using a researcher-made questionnaire to assess the level of satisfaction with the virtual grand round and an electronic test to assess learning from the topics. Results: The majority of students were moderate to highly satisfied (more than 70%) with the virtual grand round in speech therapy and physiotherapy groups. There was a significant difference between test scores before and after the grand round of the speech therapy group (P= 0.002), whereas, in the physiotherapy group there was no significant difference between the scores before and after the test (P= 0.3). Discussion: Regarding the level of students' satisfaction retaining the Grand Round and increasing their level of knowledge, it is suggested that virtual group discussions be held in clinical education courses in other faculties of rehabilitation sciences and related fields, especially during pandemic conditions of coronavirus and the impossibility of face-to-face training.
